3 Inches Off Waist and Buht at 52 Years of Age
Dear Friend,
The stack of emails filled with testimonials is growing bigger by the
day -
especially those coming from most recent students of the Farmer Burns
Stomach Flattener - Five Second Abs approach as detailed in Combat Abs.
Let's take a look at some of the comments as well as a question or two:
Dear Matt,
A month ago I read about 5 second abs in your
newsletter. Since I was on my program to lose body
fat this year, I thought I would incorporate this with
my exercise program. I had already read about the
importance of focused breathing so this would be easy
to add to the effectiveness of my workouts. Well, to
give you an idea of this writer:
I'm female, 52 years old and weighed 178 at the beginning of the
year. I had had enough of the "middle-age" excuses for having so
much fat on my body. Ten years ago I was a sleek 135. I will be
there again by June, that's my goal. I visualize everyday, many times
during the day my "fitness model" body.
To date I have lost 8 pounds. After 30 days I am pleased to see such
results. My abs are much flatter. I've lost 3 inches from my waist. My
buns are tighter and down 3 inches too...because I figured if the
methods
works for the abs it will work for the buns and thighs too. When I walk
everyday, I consciously focus on their contractions in relation to my
breathing. Amazing. Down 1 pants size with 2 more
to go. Keep up the good work.
Cathryn Bowen
M.F.: Cathryn, this is outstanding. Glad you have incorporated the same
idea
into training other body parts. You're definitely on the right track.
You're
definitely going to hit your goal.
Hey Matt,
Just received Combat Conditioning -
and went to work right away, and love it so far. My question is how
many sets
of each should I take to failure, or do I even worry about sets? I'm
used to
weight lifting, and I'm trying to build my ideal workout. Right now I
think I'm
going to stick to the Royal Court, plus handstands, and wall chairs for
now.
In your opinion what should I do?
Matthew McCable
M.F.: Matthew, glad you're enjoying the course. When first beginning,
one set of
each exercise is enough for most people. In fact, a lot of people being
with a
few reps (or less) of each because that is all they can do. You, on the
other
hand, sound like you're already in fairly decent shape, so you can do a
couple
sets of each, if you'd like. But it's not necessary. Both approaches
are valid.
You can do one set for the rest of your life and do incredibly well. Or
you can
create a circuit and do sets. Have at it and good luck.
Hi Matt and Zhannie
I emailled you about 4 weeks ago asking about delivery from America to
Australia. Well it has arrived in about ten days. I did the Magnificent
Seven
from Combat Abs - this
morning.
And it felt good. I have had back and hip pain for years. Especially in
my right
groin.
I did get a bit light headed thru the exercises but afterwards it all
felt less
tense and
a bit looser.
I have been reading your daily emails and I must admit I did not think
it would
be
that good. I am looking forward to getting my abs toned up and freeing
up all my
aches and pains. I have done a lot of physical work all of my life I'm
47 years
old.
I cannot recommend the exercises enough. I say to anyone who is
doubtful for
whatever
reason, give it a go. As Matt says Kick Butt/ Take Names
Regards
Leo Love
Australia
M.F.: Thank you, Leo. By the way, if light headed reduce the time. For
you, do 2
Second
Abs instead of 5 Second Abs. As you get into better condition you can
add a bit
more
time.
Hi Matt !
I got to tell you, the Mag. 7 from Combat Abs is awesome. Another
benefit
which I found is the instant "Wake Up Call" it gives me.
Some mornings I am so tired and look like I've been hit by a truck (my
youngest
child is a poor sleeper!), but even after the 5 mins. of Farmer Burns
Stomach
Flattener I look totally awake and clear in the eyes. After all the
exercise and
dynamic flexing I am ready to climb a mountain.
Great stuff,
Casper Schonfeldt
M.F.: Casper, you are absolutely right. One of the reasons for doing the
Magnificent
Seven right away in the morning is as you stated: to energize the body,
not just
for additional fat loss - but for the whole day. Nothing is worse than
going thru
the
whole day feeling tired. All the best to you.
Well, that's all for now.
Kick butt - take names!
