5 Second Abs and Stress Relief
Dear Friend,
The other day, a client named Vince told me that
he does 5 Second Abs at work, before his computer.
He's in one of those big, dumb corporations - as
I like to call 'em - and he maintains emotional
control by focusing on his breathing while flexing
and releasing his abs.
"I can't believe it," said Vince. "After only one week
of doing this exercise at work, my abs are harder
than they've ever been - and I haven't done any
situps, crunches or any other ab exercises."
Last Friday I spent the day with Tony, a man who travels
all over the world on biz. He's literally flying the friendly
skies 48 weeks out of the year.
Well, a month ago Tony was stuck on a plane in London for
three hours. This led to yet another delay as it required a
complete change in staff. Altogether he was sitting in the
plane for 8 hours before it shoved off.
All around him other passengers are going bonkers and
berserker. Yet, Tony was totally calm and relaxed - not
to mention productive, during the entire ordeal.
His secret: The breathing exercises in Combat Abs
"All around me people are chirping and complaining, as
if that was going to change something. I just focused on
my breathing and got a ton of work done."
Tis good advice, don't you think. In the world, but not
of it.
Today, when someone or something comes along to
derail you, stay focused on your breathing and add
a little abdominal flexing into the mix.
You'll be inspired at how this gives you a strange and
eery power of your emotions while everyone else is
going helter-skelter.
Kick butt - take names!
