Another Flabmeister Gets It Done

Dear Friend,

Tony sent us a letter about his dad, who is so big he can do a group hug by himself.

Let's take a gander and what he wrote:
Matt,

I am writing just to let you know how much positive change your programs have brought to my family. The first thing I would like to say is that I have always been a weights and cardio guy. I have gotten into great shape using them.

My Dad goes 310 on a 5'10" frame, and depending how you slice it, 80 to 100 pounds overweight. Needless to say, he wasn't interested in my routines of weights and interval training. I purchased your Combat Conditioning and Combat Abs along with the Furey Fat Loss Program.

I was quite impressed with the information so I gave my Dad the DVD's. He listened to them and his first response was, "Must have been amateur night when these were made."

I told him that what was important was the information, not the format. I told him to try the Deep Breathing because he has problems with his energy, and doing any kind of exercise. About 3 days later I asked him how the Deep Breathing was going for him, and his response was, "That sheet really works."

He said it works better than coffee or caffeine pills, or anything else he has tried. Now get this: He is only doing 4 repetitions at a time! He went to the doctor and had lost 6 pounds since his last appointment 2 weeks ago. He came home and had no idea how he lost it, because he has not been eating right or exercising. He does only the deep breathing when he gets tired.

Thanks for having the cojones to put out your information. It has started to get my Dad to lose weight, and will probably save his life.

Sorry about the spelling errors. (We took care of it)

MF: Farmer Burns said it so best almost 100 years ago, "Deep breathing alone has made many a weak man strong and many a sick man well." Let's hope your Dad gets well enough to move on to many more exercises, and many more years. I encourage him to use the The Chinese Long-Life System because this will be a program he can begin with. Most fitness programs, even mine, will be too hard for him in the beginning - with the exception of the Deep Breathing exercises in Combat Abs. Also, make sure you tell your father to walk each day. Start him with a minute or two. Then get him up to an hour per day, over time. This and the Chinese System and the Deep Breathing will nuke the fat right off his body.

P.S. Just in case you thought I was being hard on those of commodious fundament, the mail is running about 99 to 1 in my favor, and that's just the opinion of those who are a touch heavy in the heinie.
Dear Matt,

Thanks for all the help you give us Lardassians. It ain't easy weighing in at 350 or more.

I am doing a little more each day. Right now I have not lost any weight, but my belly is changing shape, so I figure I am building some muscle. I am slowly starting to feel better. It's going to take me a long time, but that's okay. I can deal with that because I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. A doctor is helping me with my sleep problems, and we're about halfway there. Being able to sleep helps a lot.

I look forward to the day when I can do a bridge. For that matter, a Hindu Push up without rug burns would be nice too.

Keep yelling at us Lardassians. We need it, and appreciate it. Brad
Here's another.
Hey Matt,

Ken the Lardass (aka Big Guy, Tubby, Flabbo, Chubbo) from PA. Keep being hard on us blimpsŠwe need to hear the truth. I read your emails every day and it keeps me motivated to keep doing my 5 minutes a day. Soon I hope to be physically able to do 10 minutes. I know that soon I will be able to do 10 Hindu Pushups. I know that soon I will be strong enough to do a back bridge.

No Matt, you are not too hard on us Buffet Molesters. In fact you can ratchet it up a notch because we still have too much fat between our ears.

Regards,
Ken

P.S. I have lost 12 pounds in the last 2 months. This is the only program I have ever stuck with. I am slowly making more lifestyle changes. Thanks again
P.P.S. All these folks could benefit from the 1st DVD on my new Chinese Long-Life System right now. All flabmeisters have circulation problems of one sort or another, and the massage techniques, along with deep breathing exercises mentioned in the first letter will go a long way to making them feel better. These exercises will insure that more oxygen gets to the heart and brain, and that's a critical first step in starting on the road back to optimum health. As you lose some weight, it will be easy for you to incorporate the exercises on the 2nd and 3rd DVD into your routine. If you are in reasonable shape, you can easily do the entire program, and experience all the benefits from the first day.
