How Combat Conditioning Became a Best-Seller
Dear Friend,
It's a "public secret" that most fitness books don't become
best-sellers.
In fact, most books, regardless of genre, don't even sell out of their
first
printing.
So how did Combat Conditioning become a best-seller? Tis a great
question -
and those
who are sharp would say it has kicked butt due to superior marketing.
That,
I will not deny.
But the other reason Combat Conditioning became a best-seller is
because the
product delivers the benefits that are talked about in the ads for it.
Even if the ads for Combat Conditioning sound like hype or bull-shark -
which frankly, to many they do, the product flat out delivers. And
that's
why I regularly receive a stack of testimonials about it each and every
day.
Interestingly enough, the so-called "hype" ads about Combat Conditioning
break many of the cardinal rules taught in Internet Guru school. Por
ejemplo, if you were to listen to any selection of Internet gurus -
they
would tell you the following:
"Do not tell your customer that there is any work involved.
You want the prospect to believe that they go to bed reading your
book and wake up lean and mean - even without exercising."
The entire ad for Combat Conditioning violates this cardinal rule.
Throughout the ad you are literally reading about and seeing
the work, the sweat and the agony of getting whooped by a workout
that appears, for all intents and purposes, to look like something from
an aerobics class. Yet, in the ad, Frank Sherrill, discovers that it is
hard
work -
yet loves it. The fact that this appeal works, shows hope for society.
Not
everyone
is a lazy bum. There are still some who understand that the only place
that
success
comes before work is in the dictionary.
Now, let me move onward S?.
Here's why my marketing works: I believe in straightforward
honest-to-goodness-tell-it-like-it-is communication. And that's why I
detest
the Internet Marketing gurus who propose the idea of "no work
involved."
No work???? Are you kidding me???
But no, I shouldn't tell you this. This is a cardinal sin of marketing.
My arse.
Let me give you the straight scoop: I WORK. I work both hard and smart.
But .... I don't work nearly as hard as people who are making peanuts
compared
to me. If you were to observe who works harder, the construction crew
across
the
street, or me - you'd have to say the construction crew.
If you were to observe the average doctor, lawyer or accountant and
compare
who works harder, it would be them - not me.
If you were to compare how hard I work compared to the people at the
post
office
who deliver my mail, they would beat me to a pulp.
There's a Jewish proverb that you should take note of: "A pencil is
lighter
than a
shovel."
Damn straight advice, isn't it?
Working with a shovel is back-breaking work. Working with a pencil, pen
or
computer
ain't nearly as hard. But it's still work.
Not only that, but I love it. I literally LOVE my job. I LOVE putting
together information products and creating an advertising campaign
designed
to sell them. I LOVE creating a new webpage. I LOVE writing an email
and
sending it out. I LOVE checking my stats throughout the day. And I LOVE
the
smile on my face at the end of the day when I can say, yet again,
"We've had
a winner."
In the beginning, when I first started in the info-publishing biz -
that's
when it was the
hardest. I was young and green and full of hope - and I had more than a
shade or two of fear, doubt and worry. Everything was new to me. I had
never
written a book before. I had never
made a video before. I sure as hell had never made any money.
Yet, in spite of my fear, self-doubt and concern - I did what all real
winners in life do. I said, "CHARGE. Full speed ahead."
I took the reins in my own mind and directed them to a target. And do
you
know what? Nearly everything I did at first was wrong. I made so many
mistakes. I wasted so much money.
But this turned into a blessing. Why? Because I figured out what works
and
what doesn't
and I kept score. Today, I flat out know WHAT to do - and when I teach
people what to do and they do it, they get results.
Now, do you want to know something? The people who win in life are the
ones
who WORK.
If you simply do what you're supposed to do to win, you will get
results.
Then guess what? Something strange happens.
Do you want to know what that "something" is? Let me spell it out for
you:
That something is called "leverage." And by "leverage" I mean being
able to
earn double, triple, quadruple - or ten times your current income S?
without
doubling, tripling or ten-tupling your efforts.
Today, I earn more money in a month with LESS effort than I expended
when I
started. Hell, in the early days I brought in only $1,500 per month -
on
average. Some months more. Some months less. Now, with less effort on
my
part than ever before, I often earn 10x that amount PER DAY!!!!!!!!!!
Do I work? Hell, yes. But I have leveraged my efforts so that I make
maximum
money from minimum effort.
August 6-8, right here in Tampa, Florida, I'll be holding what very
well may
be my last seminar
on the subject of information-publishing (books, videos, courses). It's
called "How to Build
an Information Publishing Empire on the Internet."
In this seminar I'll teach those who want to follow my lead, how to
leverage
YOUR time, energy, talents and knowledge. What I teach you WILL require
effort. It WILL require work. But I assure you of this: It WILL be FAR
less
work than what you're doing now. And far, far, FAR more rewarding.
The truth is, when I work I don't feel like I'm working. Why? Because I
am
"creating."
When you're creating time flies by so doggone fast you don't know where
it
went. When you're doing "grunt work" - you can't stop counting the
minutes.
Remember: "A pencil is
lighter than a shovel."
How much time have I spent "working" on this email to you? Don't know.
Don't
care. All I know is it's been a blast the entire time. My work is my
joy.
Wouldn't you like to say the same about your career? And wouldn't you
like
to have a career in which you "leverage" your time and talents so well
that
you make more from doing less and less?
If so, come join me in August. The link is below, in the P.S.
Kick Butt - Take Names,
P.S.: To sign up for my seminar go here.
