Get Started This Way

Dear Friend,

A number of you have written to tell me about your condition. In addition, you've asked, 'Where should I begin."

Today, I'd like to offer some suggestions as well as some frank commentary about who should probably NOT begin with some of my best-selling products.

To begin, if you are grossly overweight and cannot do pushups, squats or other more vigorous calisthenics, I suggest you begin with the Magnificent Seven in Combat Abs. These exercises are mostly deep breathing as well as stretching, and they help get you energized while reducing your waistline. Many of the Furey Faithful began with Combat Abs dropped a lot of weight - got stronger - and were then able to progress to Combat Conditioning book and DVD's.

Now, some overweight people can start right out with the Combat Conditioning book and DVD's - and they get in shape fast. So the distinction I am making in terms of weight is - "overweight and in pain when you exercise." Yes, there are some people who cannot walk without pain. Those people should begin with deep breathing and stretching. And the Furey Fat Loss Program. If you make some adjustments in your diet as well as exercise, results are much faster.

I often suggest that a number of you begin with The Get Started Now Kit.

Here's why: In the Get Started Now Kit, you get Combat Conditioning, the book as well as the DVD's. You also get Combat Abs, the Combat Cardio CD's that help you with dietary changes, my Combat Training DVD - which showed you how I trained to win the world title - and last but not least - the ultra- motivating Karl Gotch issue of G.A.I.N.

Altogether, these items would run you $341.90 - but when you get them as part of the package, you save BIG. The whole shebang is $197 plus S&H.

If you're already reasonably fit but need more flexibility - or if you simply want to feel good - then I suggest Combat Stretching. This program truly can double your flexibility in one evening. In fact, it can do so in ONE HOUR. No hype. No exaggeration. Your muscles WANT to relax and stretch further. Combat Stretching teaches them how to do so.

Yes, I have many other products - but the above are the ones to get started with - assuming your interests right now are "health and fitness" related. You can easily surf and find all these products at Furey Central.

Now, for those who are looking for a way out of getting some Furey products, here is some advice:

If you're confined to a wheel chair, the programs listed above are not for you.

If you've had a double-hip replacement or a double-knee replacement or have steel rods in your body - then much of what I teach is probably too vigorous for you. If you think you may be an exception, consult your physician for a personal assessment of your situation.

Last of all, if you're prone to laziness, then understand how my programs work. Although it may sound a bit crazy, you CAN begin with one minute of exercise per day.

You don't stay at one minute. You simply start with ONE.

Believe it or don't, this one minute will give you a feeling of success, and before you know it, you'll be up to five, ten, fifteen - even 30 minutes a day of exercise - or more - and absolutely LOVING it.

Tis true. I see it happen all the time.

The key is in "getting started." Or as Emerson once wrote, "Do the thing and you will have the POWER."

Kick ass - take names!
