Hey Skinny ... Hey Fatso
Dear Friend,
Before Charles Atlas came out with some of his
most famous ads, he used a headline that read,
"Hey Skinny."
The reason why is a bit of a history lesson.
Back in the early 1900's, obesity wasn't the problem it
is today. The problem for so many young men was being
rail-thin; being total weeklings.
I know, tis hard to imagine when you walk into a Walmart
these days.
On the rare occasion that I go shopping - I like to grab some
wood in a shopping mall and start counting the number of
"fit" people. Sadly, there ain't very many.
But finding a hundred people weighing over 250 pounds - that
doesn't take too long.
So imagine my surprise when I receive emails asking me "How
to gain weight."
Well, just look at all the fat people and do what they do.
Eat.
Eat a lot.
But that's really not the right answer because the problem with many
obese people is that they eat too little of the right foods, exercise too
little, drink too much diet soda, sleep too little and genuinely deprive
themselves.
All of the above contribute to weight gain - and yes, I do mean that NOT
sleeping is a factor.
So don't follow the above. It's a recipe for obesity.
What you do want to do is:
a.) Do exercises that work the major muscles of the body - such as Hindu
squats, Hindu pushups, pullups and so on.
b.) Eliminate long-distance cardio
c.) Eat more meat
d.) Eat more starch
e.) And if you really want to gain weight fast, drink a ton of milk each day.
Now, I realize someone is going to write and say, "How can you recommend
milk. Or, I'm a vegetarian. I need to gain weight by drinking wheat grass juice."
Okay, do it your way then. You've asked my opinion. I've given it.
The fastest way to GAIN weight is drink a ton of milk and eat a ton of grain.
Simple as that.
I am not saying it is healthy. I'm simply saying it'll put a ton of weight on you
fast.
As for milk, you are best off, healthwise, to avoid the non-organic kind. Get
organic, hormone free milk. If you want to go to Raw Milk - that is up to
you.
I know people who have packed on 20 lbs in a month just by drinking a
ton of milk. By the way, a ton means a gallon per day.
Again, the above is not "health advice." It is weight-gaining advice only.
