Combat Conditioning on VH1
Dear Friend,
Over the past several days many of you have
written to tell me that R&B singer, Usher,
was spotted, once again, doing Hindu Pushups,
bridging and handstand pushups on VH1.
The name of the program is VH1's Top 10 Rock Bodies.
It has played several times over the past couple years -
mostly due to the fact that Usher is a stud.
Others have written to say they've seen Hindu Pushups taking
place elsewhere. The movie GI Jane, for example, starring
Demi Moore. I'll have to go back and watch that flick when I
have time, but if memory serves me correctly, they were
doing "dive bomber" pushups - not Hindu pushups. Some
people would like you to believe that these two styles of
pushups are the same - but they're not.
With Hindu pushups you bend your arms on the way thru
the movement. After looking skyward you simply push
back to the original position. You don't bend your arms
a second time.

Dive bomber pushups are different in that you DO bend
your arms a second time. You bend on the way thru - and
you bend on the way back, literally tracing the same path.
Both styles of pushups are great and you'll benefit from
both. I recommend the Hindu pushups more than the
dive bomber pushup, though, because there are more
benefits to doing them.
Hindu pushups give you strength, endurance and flexiblity -
as well as major anti-aging benefits. Not only that, but let's
not forget the "sexual" benefits mentioned in yesterday's
newsletter. If you missed that one go here.
Dive bomber pushups fall short on the flexibility end as they
don't give your shoulders, hips or lower back the full
stretch you get with Hindu pushups.
My thanks to those of you who sent information on these
Combat Conditioning "sightings." Keep them coming.
Also, we have received many photos from y'all doing
Combat Conditioning in various places. We will be
choosing another "winner" very soon.
Kick butt - take names!
P.S. It's the first thing to go as you age. But it doesn't
have to. Friend, don't neglect your flexibility. Gotta keep
those joints and muscles loose and limber. All it takes
is a few minutes each day and. You literally can double
your flexibility in one evening. Combat Stretching will
show you how. To remove those awful kinks, knots and
cramps, sprint on over to the best stretching program there is
here.
