Another Late Night Jaunt
Dear Friend,
I'm starting to keep track of the various
ways I like to walk - and there are a lot
of them.
Por ejemplo, sometimes I carry three Chinese
"therapy" balls in each hand. The three I use are
made of jade and quite spectacular (not those cheap
steel ones with a chime inside that you can find in
any Chinatown).
When using the "baoding qiu" - (the real name for them)
while walking, it is quite easy to lose track of time while
you trek along. The balls help strengthen your hands as
well as all the muscles of the lower arm. Great training
device.
Another thing I like to do while walking is throw boxing
punches. Left jab, then a right, followed by another and
another and another. This is a superior way to engage
both upper and lower body at once.
At other times I may carry some clubs to swing. Or I'll
skip rope and walk. The list goes on and on and eventually
I'll bring it all your way in Fureyous detail.
But today I want to once again tell you that my evening
jaunts have become a much more powerful workout due
