I'm In Eye of the Hurricane

While the media caters to the biggest whiners
and complainers about Hurricane Katrina - I'm
right here where the damage was the worst.

That would be Gulfport/Biloxi, Mississippi.

One year to the date of Hurricane Katrina, I visited
the Beau Rivage, which just had it's grand re-opening.

Most people don't realize it - but Mississippi got
hit harder than anyone last year. They lost every
national monument; as well as mansions and homes
that have been around for ages. Not just cheapo
trailers or old shacks. They also lost a bridge that
you'd think was hurricane-proof.

Yet, unlike those who want to sit around arguing about
whose fault it is, whose to blame and so on, the people
of Mississippi got off their asses and got to work. They put
together a plan and they're working their plan. They have a
long way to go - but the good thing is that their energy isn't
wrapped up in whining or arguing.

This is important because your orientation toward life affects
every area of your life - especially the area of getting results
faster than others.

When it comes to getting into the best shape of your life, many
people have a whining orientation. Instead of getting busy
getting fit - they want to know who to blame. Who made me fat?
Whose responsible for my diabetes? Who can I get mad at? Who
can I show my rage to?

And so on.

Well, I have an answer. Next time you want to shake and rattle your
finger at someone - do it at yourself.

Look yourself square in the eyes and say, "I'm the one who got my
body into this mess - and I'm the one who is going to change it.
I'm the one who can take charge of my health. I'm the one with the
strength, the courage, the confidence and the power to make myself
into a super-hero fitness machine. I want to be fit. And I'm choosing
NOW to make it happen."

Yes ... YOU are the one who is going to make it happen - and the fastest
way to take charge is by having a coach or team of others who've been
through the minefields before you - a coach who can help guide you to
your destination without all the agony and drudgery of dumb mistakes.

With your membership in the Matt Furey Inner Circle you get that coach
and that team.

Get in today to make sure you receive the latest update to the Furey Fat

Makes Fat Fly Off Your Body

There's another food choice I cover in the August
issue of my newsletter and CD - the issue that contains
revisions to the famous Furey Fat Loss Program.

We've already mailed them to everyone in the Matt
Furey Inner Circle - yet I thought I would mail the
same to everyone who enrolls today, as well - so
I ordered some extra copies.

Believe me, you DON'T want to miss out on these
changes. They can crank up your metabolism to the
point that you may exclaim, like my friend did to
me yesterday, "The fat is flying off my body."

Well, maybe not at supersonic speed - but it is
definitely going away quickly. 20 pounds in 3
weeks. I call the pretty doggone fast.

My friend has more energy than ever before.
And he's been able to cut his diabetes medication down
by a third.

He's never been on a regime that was so easy
and effortless to follow - one in which he never
feels deprived. In fact, he says he's stuffing himself
and the weight is still flying off.

Sounds like a winner to me.

On top of what I've mentioned, the man is 53 years
young - not exactly the age in which your metabolism
is a bullet train.

Now, being that my friend is the ONLY person in the U.S.
with a weight problem, I'm sure this message doesn't
apply to anyone else, hehe. But just in case it does -
could you send the big fella my way.

Send him or her to http://www.mattfurey.com/furey_inner_circle.html
for an annual membership in the MFIC.

Or direct this person to http://www.mattfurey.com/fg324trfsr3ttai.html
so he can test out the program for a month.

Place your order To-day and we'll make sure you get the first
installment, by mail, of the revisions to the Furey Fat Loss
Program

20 lbs. off in 3 Weeks

Got a call from a friend today.

Three weeks ago I put him on my revised

He's absolutely ecstatic.

20 lbs. have flown off his body. He has more

to cut his diabetes medication down by a third.

He's never been on a regime that was so easy

100 Steps to 99 Years

Earlier tonight, after a good meal with the family,
we went for a walk along the beach.

It's so nice to walk at night, especially when the sun
is going down.

As we walked Zhannie reminded me of the Chinese
saying:

"Fan hou san bu huo yi bai."

This means: If you walk after dinner, you can live to be
100.

Zhannie's mother overheard us talking and quickly gave
a Chinese saying on the same topic. This one means almost
the same thing - but rhymes a bit.

Goes like this: "Fan hou bai bu zou huo dao jiushi jiu."

Translation: After dinner walk 100 steps and you will live 99 years."

Great wisdom in these sayings, my friend. No more do I need say, eh?

Best,

Matt Furey

P.S. If you don't have the Chinese Long-Life System yet - be sure to
take a look at http://www.chineseculturesecrets.com/long_life.html

You are Bigger Than Money

Many people have an adversarial relationship
with money. They see money as the master;
themselves as the servant. Yet, in order to take
charge of your life - this image must be reversed.

You are the MASTER - money is your servant.

You've got to see yourself as BIGGER than money.
Not in an egotistical, big-headed way - but rather
in an 'I have the ability to choose how much or how
little I want' way.

When the bills pile up and frustration sets in - you
can choose to rise above this feeling; you can choose
to be in control of your emotional state, no matter
what is going on around you.

It's not all that hard to do either. You can laugh in the
face of pain, accept it and use it as an ally - or you can
fight against the pain and make it worse.

People with an adversarial relationship with money are
always fighting with it. They're mad when they pay their
bills. When they write a check their body is tense, they
stop breathing - there's nothing positive about the
experience.

On the other hand, those who MASTER money - they pay
their bills with a sense of gratitude. They give thanks for
the money they have and what they are allowed to do
with it. They give thanks for the things they are able to
buy.

I started doing this many moons ago - long before I had
much to be grateful for. I was led to change my relationship
with money when, one day I took note of how my shoulders
and neck raised and my back stiffened when I wrote a check.
I noted how I stopped breathing. How I put a frown on my face
and clenched my teeth together. Even how, at times, I got sweaty
or cold palms.

All of these tension formations on my face and body were
blocking the flow - and I didn't even realize it. I thought it
was ALL about the thoughts I had on the subject; or even
worse, those who were supposedly controlling me from the
outside.

Yet, to examine your body and the tensions in it - well, it's
a wonderful way to know what your relationship is on any
given topic.

T. Harv Eker says that if you give him five minutes to speak
with you he can predict your financial future. He's absolutely
right. Yet, another truth is - most of the time no conversation
needs to take place. Observe posture; observe breathing
pattern; observe range of facial expressions (many adults have
2 or 3 and they're maxed out); observe, if you can, the energy
coming off the body of the person - and you'll know what is
really going on.

Hearing someone speak - and listening to what is said and how
it is said - yes, that's another factor. For example, you may have
had the experience of dining out, and when the waitress brings
you your bill, she says, "Here's the damage.'

THE DAMAGE???

Who taught you that idiocy?

A bill is not damage. It's nothing more than an amount I am
being asked to pay for a service that was rendered. I'm happy
to pay. I'm glad to pay. Whenever a waitress comes to with a
line like, "Here's the damage," - I smile and say, "I don't pay
for damage. Bring me something else please."

This turns the situation around real fast.

Never forget that every mind is both a broadcasting and receiving
station. We are continually sending out signals and receiving signals
- whether we know it or not. And the stronger the signal is on the
positive scale - the more positive energy is attracted to it. The more
negative the signal the more negative energy is attracted.

This is precisely why you want to eliminate an adversarial relationship
with money. The more negative you are about it - when getting paid or
when paying somoene else - the worse your financial situation will be.

Some months ago, on a Friday night, I took my wife, Zhannie, and our
kids to see a belly dancer at a Persian restaurant. Normally we go on
Saturday nights - but we wanted to see the performer on Friday as
well - so we decided to go for it all.

When the Friday night bellydancer began I took out a few ones and
handed them to my kids. I prodded them to give her a tip once she'd
finished her first number. Halfway through the second number, Frank
went out to tip the lady. She took the money in her hand instead of letting him
put it in her outfit (the normal way). She didn't thank him for the tip. Made
no eye contact.

And worst of all - she dropped the bill on the floor.

I was horrified. I couldn't believe what I saw. I turned to Zhannie and
said, "Last tip she gets from us. She has no respect for money."

A few more people came forth and gave tips. She conducted herself
the same way. Take money. No gratitude. Drop money on floor.

Okay, what about the Saturday night belly dancer? Well, let me
say that she gets a ton of tips. Virtually every table in the place
coughs up the dough. Young kids; adult men; adult women. She
cleans up.

Do I even need to tell you why?

Okay, I will. When she dances and someone brings her a tip, she
allows human contact. She lets the child or the adult insert the tip
into her clothing. She smiles and dances and laughs the entire time
this is happening. She makes eye contact and thanks the person for
the tip. Then she does a little celebration dance to show she
respects the person who gave the money.

That's the way to play the game. That's the way to dance.

Now, from this alone I can predict each dancer's financial future.

Even so, with my business and marketing know-how, I could take
either lady and make her a fortune beyond what she herself can
conceive of.

Why? Because my relationship to money is non-adversarial. Money is
not something I fight with or against. Not only do I know how to attract
it by being in front of someone - I also know how to attract it from
someone who lives thousands and thousands of miles away. Someone
I have never met or spoken to. I know how to attract it whether I am
dancing (working) or not; whether or not I'm sleeping; whether or not
I am on vacation.

How'd you like to learn how to do that?

I'm going to reveal how at my October seminar - The Science of
Super-Human Marketing. Who knows - I might even have one of the
belly dancers there to learn. If she listens and applies what I teach -
she could be dancing all over the world without leaving her home or
office - just like me.

How do I know? I know because each day my words, images, DVDs
and recordings are played all over the world - in places and countries
I've never even heard of.

Wouldn't you like to have something like that happen in your life? And
be richly rewarded for it as well?

Drop Fat Fast

Back in 1997, when I had a mere six weeks to prepare
for the Shuai-chiao kung fu world championships, held in
Beijing, China, - I followed a weight loss without strength-
loss program. I dropped 30 pounds and went on to win the
title.

I made the fat loss program public a number of years ago,
and people who have folowed it have achieved amazing
results.

The program works like magic. People get ripped; lose inches
of unwanted flab; lower their cholesterol levels, and so on.

YET - over the last couple months, whilst traveling in China, I
made some significant changes to the program that make it
at least three times better. And the changes make the program
even easier to follow.

In a nutshell, the Furey Fat Loss Program encourages you to
avoid all the starchy crap - like bread, pasta, rice, corn, beans,
legumes - and so on. But - unlike so many carb-free diets, I do
NOT tell you to avoid fruits and vegetables. I don't believe that
low-carb diets that minus fruits and veggies are the best for most
people.

At the present I am formulating the changes, revisions and improve-
ments to my program - and I'm making them available, first and
foremostly, to members of the Matt Furey Inner Circle.

Each month I'm highlighting simple steps and procedures YOU can
take to maximize your metabolism, turn up your butter-burning
machine, get ripped, and do so in complete comfort while increasing
strength, endurance, flexibility and power. When you follow the changes
I am making - and how YOU can easily make them in your own situation -
you are going to be completely captivated each morning when you look
in the mirror and see a better person emerging.

Oh, one more thing - and this may appeal to you - then again, it may not.
The changes I am tracking in the Furey Fat Loss System - WILL most likely
turn you into a sekx machine.

Okay, so you want to be on top of all the latest coming down the pike? Well,
that's smart. Here's what you can do to make sure you're in the loop with the
rest of the Furey Faithful:

Sprint on over to http://www.mattfurey.com/furey_inner_circle.html and
make a one-year choice to be in the MFIC. At present we are looking at limiting
the number of people who can enroll for an entire year. The amount for the
year is far too low compared to the value being delivered. I'm frequently
embarrassed when I think of how much people are getting for nuthin when they
join - especially when I examine how much people in the MFIC have improved.
As such, I'm going to limit the number of NEW 1-year commitments.

So if you want to jump in at the lowest amount the MFIC will ever be offered, go
to http://www.mattfurey.com/furey_inner_circle.html and get on the horn.

One last thing: I realize that many people don't want to enroll for a full year. They'd
rather 'test-drive' the program for a month to see if they like it. Tis fine with me.
So I'm also having a special 'test-drive' enrollment - and you can
read all about the benefits by going to http://www.mattfurey.com/fg324trfsr3ttai.html

Best,

Matt Furey

Be THERE Now

About five minutes from my home there's a
gas station/convenience store/restaurant. You
know what I'm talking about. An all-in-one place.

Years ago, you pulled into a gas station. An attendant
asked you what you wanted. Then he wiped your windows,
checked your oil and pumped your gas.

After getting your gas you drove off. Afterall, there was
nothing else there for you to buy.

Nowadays, get gas. Pump it yourself. Go inside, use bathroom.
Buy food, water, junk food, pizza, wings, hot peanuts, sandwiches,
cookies, coffee - maybe even some diapers or doo-rags.

It's brilliant - really. Especially if the people working in the store
are pleasant, attractive and helpful. Not always the case - but
at this particular joint I go to for gas - it IS the case. Working
inside is a sandy brown haired (shoulder-length, I must add)
lady from the Czech Republic.

She's slways pleasant. Always says hello. Always smiles. Always
thanks you for your business. Always tells you to have a nice day.
AND always makes eye contact.

Pretty basic, I know - yet your average worker in most of these
places does NONE of the above.

Shocked, I was, many years back when a friend and client told me
how he described me to others. "Matt's the type of guy who looks
you in the eye when he speaks to you. And his eyes are glued to
you until the conversation is over."

"Doesn't everybody do that?" I asked. "I'd think of it as basic."

"Hardly ANYONE does it," he replied. "That's why it stands out."

Hmm.

Three days ago, after pumping my gas - I trekked inside the store
to grab a water. When I got to the counter, I found the Czech Republic
lady busy attending to other details while a cashier-in-training started
to ring my order.

No smile. No hello. No eye contact.

I was beginning to feel a bit disgruntled - but then my favorite cashier
spotted me and immediately took note of what I was wearing, and
made conversation.

"Did you go to the Olympics in Beijing?" she asked, when seeing the
red shirt and cap I had on.

"They haven't had it yet."

"Oh, I thought your shirt said 2002 - it's in 2008," she said.

"That's right."

"Are you going?"

"Don't think so. It'll be a mad house. Beijing is one of my favorite cities,
but I don't think I want to be there during the Olympics. I'll get a better
view on tee-vee."

"Wait a minute," she said. "The Beijing Olympics are in 2008 and they
ALREADY have t-shirts and caps made?"

"Beijing even had them made when they were first announced as the 2008
host - back in 2001, I think."

"WOW," she exclaimed. "Now THAT is good marketing."

I smiled. "Indeed it is."

Think of this for a moment. Right now we're two years away from the
Beijing Olympics - yet the Chinese have been mentally celebrating this
event for four or five years. As a result I've already bought gold Olympic
coins. I've bought caps and shirts and anything else I can find. And I'm
not planning on going.

Yes, it is good marketing. But it's also good thinking. It's a good use of
your imagination. Pick a spot in the future and started getting excited
about it NOW. Don't wait for excitement to come your way. Make it
happen by thinking about what you want in a glorious way.

Bring your imagined future into your present. Ponder the events and circumstances
you want to create. And as you do take time to feel how wonderful it is to BE
THERE NOW.

Many moons ago I remember someone telling me that it was best to have a
"be here now" orientation toward life. I told the man that SOME of the time
it is good to live in the present. Yet, if we were designed to only live in the
present, what would we have a memory for? What would we have a creative
imagination for? The key is balance.

Be THERE Now is just as good as 'be here now.' And in terms of creating your
dream life, I'd say it's MORE important. You don't create a wonderful future
by only living in the present. In fact, there's a way to juggle the present and
the future - at the same time - in your visualizations - and this simple shift
in thinking can truly catapult you to greatness.

So get excited about your future. Pick a spot one year from today - or five years -
or ten. And get pumped about it. Doing so will change your life for the better.

Best,

Matt Furey

Why I Don't Solve Problems

The other day a man in the gym I train at began
to tell me of his problems.

Good thing is we were at a gym where I could
stretch, breathe and concentrate on exercising.

As he focused and talked about his problems
I concentrated - without talking - on getting stronger
and more flexible.

I did not stretch to solve a problem or to get rid of
anything. I stretched because it helps me improve
upon and work toward a specific goal.

After nearly 10 minutes of yapping about his
problems, the man paused for a moment
to ask, "Well, what do you think?"

"This stretch is getting a lot easier," I said.
"I like how you can choose a target, work
on it a little each day and see progress."

The man didn't know what to say. He stopped
talking - and as far as I'm concerned, that's a
good thing.

Later in the day I saw him again and he
apologized for breaking Furey's "No
Whining" Rule.

Now, perhaps the above may seem 'insensitive.'
Yet, I believe it is almost always the best
medicine for people who talk about their
problems. If you can get people to stop telling
their "song and dance" - not just to you, but
to everyone else, too - they'd be a lot further
down the road of success.

When you speak of your problems you activate
your Automatic Failure Mechanism. Sure, you
may find people who offer you solutions to your
problems - but you'll probably reject the advice
even if it's good because you'd rather tell your
story.

A different approach is to give up problem solving
altogether and focus on being creatively alive.

You begin creating what you want in life, for no
other reason than you "want to." You don't do
anything because you've hit a pain threshold
that is somehow forcing you to move; not because
you have something to fix.

In the midst of painful problems, you can still engage
your Automatic Success Mechanism. You do this
by focusing on previous successes you've had.
You do this by coming to understand that you
attract more good to yourself by focusing ON the
good you've already got. Not by scratching and
clawing and nit-picking problems.

You attract more good by understanding how
life works. What you focus on expands. Positive
or negative.

Focus on problems - the Universe
hands you more. Focus on creative ideas (not
solutions) and the Universe sends
people, information, events and circumstances
your way to help you "make it happen."

Not long ago I told a couple who is focused
on eliminating their "debt problem" that their
objective is off. Once they have eliminated their
debt - what do they have?

Nothing but eliminated debt. A big fat zero.

But what if, while in the midst of debt the couple
came up with creative ideas that made them
wealthy.

Ahhh - mucho differente - don't you think?

My wife and I eliminated our debt years ago
with a combination of strategies - foremost of
which was putting aside something for ourselves
and "focusing" on the nest egg instead of the debt.

In the midst of major debt - we began creating
a wealth account. To feed the wealth account we
continually added 10% of everything coming our
way, regardless of bills. On top of this we came
up with creative ideas designed to "bring home
the bacon."

It didn't take long before our 10% became 20
and 30%. It didn't take long before our wealth
account contained MORE than the idea or seed
of wealth.

So think - not of solving problems - not of finding
solutions. Think of creating your dream life.

As the Chinese people say, "Fei chang bu yiyang."

Very, very different.

Matt Furey

You're in the News

Here's what I think about watching tee-vee
or listening to your ipod when you exercise:

Absolutely nothing.

Now, before you get upset with me and begin
name calling - consider this: Your thoughts have
creative power. When you exercise, you have
the ideal opportunity to strengthen the link
between mind and body.

If you think strong, vibrant and powerful thoughts
when you exercise, you improve your health at
a far greater clip - and you feel better about
who you are and what your role in life is.

If you go for a walk and whilst putting one step
before the other, you can choose to listen to the top 40 -
or you can think of the Top 10. By Top 10 I mean
your Top 10 goals - the things you'd really like to
accomplish in life - the things you'd really like to
do - the places you'd like to go - the people you'd
like to meet.

Or you can contemplate a single aim you
really, really want.

You could also use the time to ask yourself
questions that cause creative ideas to flow.

And - you can use the time to give thanks for
being alive.

All of the above are far better than watching
the 24-hour drumbeat of negative news.

Who killed whom?

Who got robbed?

How many bombs dropped today?

Why we're all doomed for another series of
natural disasters.

Why you should go to bed scared and wake up
terrified of birds giving you the flu.

And if not the birds, watch out for the monkeys -
and the pigs.

Be scared all the freaking time, will ya?

Never relax. Never unwind. Never turn off
the clap-traps. Have someone else constantly
feeding you doom and gloom.

Ugggh. Tis NOT for me.

I'd rather go for a walk while focusing on my
breathing. I'd rather do some squats and pushups
and focus on nothing more than the number of
reps I'm doing - a meditation in and of itself.

I'd rather go to bed feeling good about the world,
transcending the thoughts and emotions that so
many people now feel are normal.

They're not normal. They're sick and depressing.

Rise to a higher level, my friend.

I'll show you how when you're a member of the Matt Furey
Inner Circle - http://www.mattfurey.com/furey_inner_circle.html -
and I'll show you how in style.

Be MORE than you are right now. Give yourself the break you
need today - not from life - but from the noise the media
wants you to think is life.

Pay attention to the sound of your heart beating and your breath
going in and out of your body. Pay attention to how your muscles
and joints feel - and improve the functioning of them.

That's the real story. That's the only news that really counts.

Kick butt - take names,

Matt Furey

Fire in the Solar Plexus

Getting what you want out of life is a bit like
starting a fire in your back yard.

Let me explain:

Suppose you have a magnifying glass and a backyard
filled with dry grass.

The sun is blazing when you walk outdoors. Your pitch
a blanket and take out your magnifying glass. As you
hold the magnifying glass in your hand, you move it from
one spot to the next.

Yes, you're trying to start a fire but due to lack of patience
and focus, you can't stop changing yourself from changing
the position the glass is in. After a few seconds in one spot,
you move on to the next.

Finally, an expert in the art of 'making fire' comes to observe
what you're doing. He tells you that you'll never make a fire
the way you're trying to do it.

You then ask, 'Well, how should I do it, then.'

The expert tells you to focus the magnifying glass in one spot
and hold it there until the fire begins. You follow his advice
and within a short time the back yard is blazing.

Naturally, the point of this story is NOT to encourage anyone
to start a fire. The point is to show you that MOST people
who set goals don't know how to start a fire.

They look at their list and try to make everything happen at
once. They never stop to focus on the ONE goal that can generate
so much heat that the other goals get accomplished, even with far
less focus than the ONE.

Suppose your goals are represented by all the different places
the magnifying glass was positioned. Yet, no fire from any of
those place until the guy shined the glass in ONE place long
enough to start the fire.

Then what happened. After the fire began it quickly consumed
the entire backyard (all the other goals got accomplished).

This doesn't mean that you never focus on goal number 2, 3, 4, 5
and so on. What it does mean is that you MUST focus on ONE
goal long enough to start the fire in your solar plexus. And once
that fire gets going, you'll be amazed at the extra energy you'll
have for the other goals.

To become an expert on starting the fire within, be sure to get
hold of Dr. Maxwell Maltz' Zero Resistance Living. You'll find it
at http://www.psycho-cybernetics.com/zrlcourse.html

Computers Make You Fat

In a recent visual schtudy of computer-using
men and women, I discovered they have a
much higher rate of buttock fat than those who
simply watch tee-vee.

Not only that, but those who use a computer for
more than eight hours a day are quite likely to
suffer from higher rates of buttock fat than those
who watch tee-vee for the same amount of time.

The reason for this is simple: Those who watch
tee-vee for eight hours are more likely to get
up every hour or so and go to the fridge for
something to eat. Strange as this sounds, this
little bit of exercise makes a difference.

Computer people, on the other hand, are more
likely to make a phone call or send an email -
asking someone else to bring them food. They're
LESS likely to get up and go get it themselves.

This slight difference in preferences leads to a 9%
greater chance of being prone to buttock fat -
whereas the tee-vee group is 32% less prone
to having back ache, knee pain and cancer.

Further research into this phenomenon is forth-coming
after I get a grant from the U.S. government for 5
million smackeroos. I'm also looking into accepting
bribe money from some of the food and pharmaceutical
industries.

Now, perhaps what you've read made you laugh. I hope
it did. Here's why I wrote it: Most of the studies we do are
pure BS. They tell us almost nothing. They're an utter waste
of time to read. What's worse, many so-called experts cannot
produce a shred of original thought on anything without first
consulting the latest study, quoting another source, repeating
what someone else said, and so on.

You'll note that el Fure-cat is different.

If you follow nature's laws - which are usually NOT put on the
scope of a 'scientific study' - you'll get along in life far better
than you will reading schtudies.

Here are a few of Nature's Laws:

1. Practice deep breathing daily - preferably in fresh air

2. Move your body through space - walking, swimming, doing
bodyweight calisthenics, practicing martial arts, dance, etc.

3. Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables

4. Get plenty of rest

5. Stretch your body after long periods of sitting or lying

6. Avoid processed foods that come in a bag, box or wrapper

7. Think good thoughts

You can study the list above all you want and the conclusions will
always be the same. These laws work.

There are more I could list. Not necessary right now. Do the above
and you'll know you're on the right track.

Most importantly, if you sit at a computer during the day, make sure
you get up and move around every hour or so. Stretch your neck and
lower back. Loosen your joints.

I show you how to do all the above in great detail when you're a member
of the Matt Furey Inner Circle. With your annual membership you'll receive
10 gifts from me. Of course, you can enroll monthly if you'd like, too.

Are You Slammed With Too Much to Do

Whenever you get busy, which is probably frequently,
you may find it useful to say things like, 'I'm slammed.
I'm blitzkrieged. I'm overwhelmed. I'm swamped. I don't
have any time. I can't find the time."

Etcetera.

Here's the good news. Anytime you use any of the above
to refer to your life - you're playing the part of the whiner,
moaner, groaner and complainer.

I'm no different than you on this. I could very easily use
ALL of the above to refer to my life on certain days - usually
all seven.

Yet, I don't because when I do I'm making life out to be
harder than it is.

Not having the time can easily be changed to finding the
time. Maybe it takes a week or so for you to fit certain
things into your life - but you can fit them in if you choose to
be un-slammed.

The key for me getting a lot done is having a definite
schedule for doing certain things - and the less deviation
the better.

I know people who talk about how busy they are - who moan
and groan about not being able to find time for things they
know will improve their lives, if they'll simply buckle down
and do them. These same folks have time for tee-vee, talking
on the phone, running around town, helping their buddies wash
their cars, and so on - but finding the time to do what is truly
important. Nope. They're 'slammed.'

In today's world people are easily overwhelmed. But the main
reason for this is simple: People take in a lot of information - and
generally do nothing with it.

If you jump up and GO - you cannot be overwhelmed. Learn a
little - then move. Learn some more - then move. Don't spend
all your time absorbing. Sponges need to be wrung out after
they've collected too much water. So do human beings.

Learn, absorb - then squeeze out the excess pressure with
movement.

Tis what me thinks.

To un-slam yourself, look into Dr. Maltz' Zero Resistance Living Course.
We have less than 30 sets left - then they will no longer be avaliable at
the current amount as we're in the process of restructuring the program.
Go to http://www.psycho-cybernetics.com/zrlcourse.html and order now.

Fat People Got Many Reasons to Live

When I was a kid growing up in Io-way - (as my
Uncle Jack, an Omaha lad, used to call it), a popular
song went like this: "Short people got no reason to
live."

Like hell.

And the same 'like hell' applies to fat people. We got
a hefty crop of them all around us - and the people who
are helping make our society fat are licking their chops
at the sound of all the money pouring into their coffers.

The manufacturers of products with partially hydrogenated
oils, high fructose corn syrup, MSG, modified corn starch
and a host of other "fatteners" hope they can turn America
into a nation of 400 and 500 pounders.

From their perspective, tis good to get you over 300 lbs.
You'll eat a hefty meal and still be hungry afterward because
you got zero nutrition from what you ate.

And so - you'll eat AGAIN.

Wow.

Sad but true.

Meanwhile, all the fat people are suffering from a host of other
problems, emotional as well as physical - and much of it is
directly related to BAD food and lack of exercise.

In recent weeks a great many fat people have enrolled in the
Matt Furey Inner Circle - and they're excited as hell to have
found a place where they receive sound advice and, most of
all, encouragement.

Oftentimes many people, i.e. the fat and obese, will read my
promotions, and sad as it sounds, they cannot picture themselves
being one of my testimonials. The reason is because, at their
present weight, they cannot do a single pushup, squat, situp
- much less bridge.

So these people feel my program is not for them - that they're
too far gone.

Well, let me be clear. When you're an annual member of the MFIC, you get
all the books you're afraid of for nothing anyway. And no matter if you
cannot do squats and pushups, you CAN follow the Magnificent Seven in
Combat Abs - and you CAN follow the Furey Fat Loss Program - and you
CAN go outdoors and walk. You can even walk indoors, from room to room,
if you're too embarrassed to be seen walking outside.

What's more - as a member of the MFIC, you get free advice and tips on
the discussion board we have for you - a private forum with a plethora of
experts and others who've laid the ground work and succeeded before you.
All you need do is place your feet in their footsteps and follow along.

Not only that, but in my monthly newsletter and CD, which comes along with
your membership - you will receive a lot of tips that you can begin following
instantly, regardless of your size.

And so, if you're fat, if you're obese, if you're clinically obese - have no fear.
Your condition is a job for Super Fure. Super Fure-cat - that is.

Yes, I will scatch and claw my way into your mind and help you remove all the
unwanted layers - permanently.

Yet I cannot help you if you passively sit around waiting for things to happen.

So get up off your duff, mang - and make something good happen for yourself.
YOU have MANY, MANY reasons to live. Once you start with me you'll discover
them - one after another.

Go to http://www.mattfurey.com/furey_inner_circle.html and get started NOW.

Kick butt - take names,

Matt Furey

P.S. If an annual commitment seems too big a step for you to take right now - then
I suggest you take your first step forward and enroll in our 1-month test drive.

Why Car Accidents Happen

Last weekend, after taking one of my Zen walks
along the beach, I dropped into a restaurant that
serves gyros. This particular place serves them
better than most - in part because they're 90%
lamb and 10% beef.

As I entered the restaurant, a Russian lady greeted
me, took my order (double-meat - no bread) and
prepared my meal.

Her name is Anya. She's 21 with sparkling eyes - and
a round, plumpish figure. She tells me she's a vegetarian.
I tell her she's eating too much bread. We hit it off
well.

"Sir, may I sit with you while you eat?" she asks.

"Sure, have a seat," I reply.

"Sir, I must ask you. You always have time to go
where you want and do what you want. What do you
do for work?"

"I don't work," I say.

"Sir, if you don't work, then how do you drive the HUMMER
I always see you in?"

"Oh, well, I earned the money for it doing what I love to do -
and in my book, that ain't work."

"Sir, what can I do to make more money. I come here two
years now and I like it, but I don't want to spend my life
making pizza. I want to use my talents but I cannot find anyone
who will believe in me."

"You don't need anyone to believe in you. First, you believe in
yourself. When you believe in yourself, and I mean REALLY
believe in yourself, you will attract others who will believe in
you."

"But sir, last month my boss here fired me. For one week I had
no job. I didn't know what to do. I had no money."

"I understand," I said.

"And what's worse, I got in a car accident."

"Have any idea why that might have happened?" I asked.

"Well, sir, I didn't just get into ONE. I had TWO. In one
week. It was horrible."

"Bingo."

"What do you mean - BINGO, sir?"

"If you only had one car accident - maybe we
could say you had a bad day. But when you have two
in one week, or even in one year, I can assure you
there is more to the equation."

"Sir, what do you mean?"

"Two car accidents in a week means your emotional
world is seriously out of balance. You're either angry or
feeling guilty about something - or full of fear - and all
of that emotional baggage can play itself out in disastrous
ways. Not ALWAYS. But much of the time."

"You know sir, when I got fired, I was very angry."

"I'm sure you were."

"So what should I do?"

"I will bring you a book next time I see you. It's called
Psycho-Cybernetics. If you will read it and apply what
it teaches, you will know what to do."

"What will it teach me?"

"It will teach you how to RISE above your problems. It
will teach you how to picture yourself at your best - and
how doing this will build your confidence and begin attracting
to you what you want. When bad things begin happening to
you - you easily attract more bad things. I think you've
experienced that, haven't you?"

"Yes."

"The same goes for good. When good starts flowing into your
life, you attract more good."

"So how do I get more good to flow to me?"

"You already have it - but you're not focused on it. You're focused
instead, on what you think is bad. I came in here today and all
you tell me about are your problems. Not enough money. Got
fired. Two car accidents in one week."

"But these things really happened to me," she said.

"I know. At the same time, a lot of OTHER very good things happened
to you."

"Like what?"

"Like you got your job back. Here you're still pouting about getting fired -
yet the truth is you got re-hired."

"That's true."

"And what about the fact that you didn't die in your accidents. You weren't
hospitalized. You still have a roof over your head - and plenty of pizza to
eat."

This got a laugh.

"Think of all the times you've acted confidently, with courage. Think of all
the knowledge you have. Think of your friends. Think of how you live
near the beach and can go for a walk on the sand each day as the
ocean laps at your feet and a cool breeze massages your face. Think of
what you have to be grateful for."

"So this book will teach me this?"

"That and a whole lot more. Key thing to remember is that YOU are bigger
than your problems. You rise above them by being BIGGER than them - not
by feeling small or acting small."

I finished my meal and left.

Minutes later, as I was walking along the street, I recalled that I was in this
young woman's shoes once, too. I got into accidents when I was angry, I
struggled with money; I thought only about the things in my life that I didn't
like.

Then, gradually, bit by bit, I began to activate the success mechanism within.
As I did this my life began to FEEL better. And as it felt better I had
better experiences. When I focused on and gave thanks for the good flowing my
way - more good things came my way.

Yes, there were and are negatives in the air, too - yet it's not my job to focus
on them. My job, if there is one, is to focus on what I love and create more of it.

How to Tear a Phone Book in Half - No Matter How Big, No Matter How Thick

Last May, a man who is 6' 5" tall and 260 pounds goes to
my hotel room to be interviewd for a program made for
tee-vee.

Unbeknownst to me, he put on quite a show for the camera
crew. The S.O.B. tore up my phone book.

He tore right down the middle, through the cover. He didn't
break the binding or cheat in any way. I know because the
camera crew showed me the footage of what he did.

Last January, at my health and fitness seminar, this same
guy, John Wood, ripped a Tampa Bay phonebook in half
while in a bridge. Not an easy strength feat. The audience
went wild.

But there's a little guy, a strong man who is about half the size
of John Wood. And he can tear a phone book in half even when
it's wrapped in duct tape. He can even tear one in half with two
fingers.

What's more, the little guy can tear a corner out of the book - again
with two fingers.

He can tear a phone book in half with oven mitts on.

And the technique he uses is pure power. There's no cheating. No
cooking the phone book. No popping the spine or cracking the
paper. Just a straight grab, pull and RIP.

My son, Frank, and I watched the little guy's DVD this past weekend.
And Frank got so excited he tore up the manual that comes with the
DVD. I started to yell at him - then stopped myself. It was too funny.

Then Frank reached for a MAD magazine and asked if he could rip
it.

NO.

How about my Highlights magazine?

No.

How about this book on Florida snakes and reptiles?

No.

Frank is only six - but I think this phone book tearing DVD may
have put him on the right path in life. The path of strength.

Having a strong grip will amaze your friends, coworkers and family.
But having a crushing handshake won't cut it, bro.

Nope. You've got to be the life of the party by learning how to tear a
HUGE phone book right down the middle.

It's a skill worth having - and any man who can do this is destined to
be a chick magnet.

Go to http://www.mattfurey.com/tear_phonebook.html and read about
this incredible DVD that I recommend wholeheartedly.

Kick butt - take names,

Matt Furey

P.S. Again, you don't have to be huge to tear a phonebook. You simply
need to develop a killer grip. Let the 'little guy' who makes it so simple
show you how - http://www.mattfurey.com/tear_phonebook.html

Stretch Your Body - Stretch Your Mind

Earlier today I was working out with a couple guys
in a gymnastics center. After doing a few sets of
Hindu Pushups, squats and bridging, I began to
work on my backbend.

This means falling into a back bridge from a standing
position.

Now, most people would consider me as having a pretty
phenomenal bridge, especially considering my size. Yet,
I'm always looking to improve - so I pulled the school's
coach to the side and said, "Got any more tips on what
I can do to make my bridge better?"

He walked into the other room with me. I demonstrated
what I was doing, then told him I felt stuck and wanted to
move to another level in this exercise.

Next thing you know, he has me doing a couple exercises
I'd never seen before. I got into position and executed them
as best I could. And I started feeling muscles I wasn't hitting
fully before.

When I came out of the bridge, I was feeling euphoric. Had
blood hitting the noggin at a faster rate of speed. My it felt
good. It's the sort of feeling that comes with a breakthrough
in your life.

"You realize you stretched a foot farther than before, don't
you?" said the coach.

"A foot?" I questioned. "Are you serious?"

"Yes, you moved a foot further than before. The exercise I
gave you forced more weight forward. Amazing, huh?"

I set a time to work with him next week - not because I need
to, but because I want to. I want to get even more out of my
body - in part because I realize that the more I get from my
body, the more I get from my mind.

After a good workout, after a session in which I get my body
to open up at a deeper level - there is always a corresponding
opening in the mental and spiritual realm - if you look for it.
The reason this is so is simple: Your mind, body and soul are
interconnected to begin with. It's just that we've been taught
to separate them so we can study them.

That's fine - yet it has it's limitations. Causes much confusion,
me thinks. You've got so-called intellectuals who think they're
smart because they don't exercise or play sports. They can
brag about their academic smarts all they want - but if they
have a hang-over gut, they're missing something upstairs.

Want to be smart? Then train your body and get it to do
what you want it to. You'll quickly find, the moment you
begin to exercise, that your mind, your intellect and your
imagination, are the keys that determine whether or not
you get fit - as well as HOW fit you get.

Not convinced? Fine, then go for a walk and pay attention
to your thoughts. Find out whose in charge of your body
as you listen to the internal babble going on. Find out whose
in charge as you see the images you paint in your imagination.

You'll find the same stranger who will stretch your body and your
mind to a new dimension - if you'll say the magic word ... "yes."

Want to stretch further? Then become a member of the Matt Furey
Inner Circle - http://www.mattfurey.com/furey_inner_circle.html

It Doesn't Matter How Old, How Fat, How Weak

Am I too old? Am I too fat? Am I .... Am I ....
Am I?

The above represents many of the questions sent
to me. Today let me answer this question for ALL
who have it.

First, being old does NOT stop you from improving
your physical condition. Best thing you can do is
look for reasons why you CAN get fit, no matter
your age, rather than the one reason you think
is somehow preventing you.

When I had my personal training studio back in California,
from 1987 to 1999 - I trained many, many "mature" men
and women. I had a man come to me who was 88 years
young and had never worked out. Not only that, he smoked.
When he coughed, let me tell you, I thought a lung was going
to come out.

Yet, he did what I told him and his fitness level improved
dramatically. He went from barely having the strength to
get out of a chair - or to get out of bed - to making those
skills look like child's play. Part of his workout involved
making him get out of a chair, repeatedly - as well as having
him lie down and get to his feet.

Then there was a 92-years young lady I trained. She trained
with me for four years. Her training with me was covered in
a number of newspapers - and it attracted other men and
women in their 70's and 80's. Without exception, every man
and woman, regardless of the age, improved.

I had another woman call me from my parking lot to ask if
she could come in for training. She was in a big white van.
I wondered, Why not just knock on m door?

Well, a minute later I had my answer as she wheeled herself to
the steps leading into my gym.

Her name was Emily. She was paralyzed from the waist down -
she was 36.

10 years earlier her first husband shot her in the back - then
killed himself. She rose above the agony, the pain and the
frustration of having to start over - but start over she did.

With me as her coach, she trained for and competed in wheel
chair marathons - along with her new husband, who was also
in a wheelchair.

Yes, there are some people who cannot do some of the exercises I
teach in Combat Conditioning - but as members of the Matt Furey
Inner Circle will tell you - I have something for virtually anyone.

If you weigh 500 pounds, I have exercises for you. I have a
way to help you get started on the road to superior health.

Not only that, but the members of the private, members-only
discussion board will give you support - helping you make the
transition from where you are to where you want to be.

Each month I give you my best stuff in my newsletter and CD - and
if you do what you can, coaxing your body along the road called
success - you will improve.

The moral of the story is simple: Don't let what you cannot do interfere
with what you CAN DO.

Keep this in mind at all times. And yes, you will be making a wise decision
by becoming a member of the Matt Furey Inner Circle. Enroll NOW for one

the better - http://www.mattfurey.com/furey_inner_circle.html

World War on the Streets

My friend Jake Ross has a message for you -
and it comes straight from his 'bunker.'

His message is about stopping the World War
going on in our streets, in our schools, our bars,
our back alleys, inner cities - and everywhere
else that fights break out.

Innoncet people getting beaten, knifed - even
killed - mostly because they were too innoncent.
All most of these people needed was a little
balance; a little knowledge on HOW to whoop
someone's butt, if the situation ever calls for it.
And more and more often - the need does arise.

No doubt we want to go through life and assume
or presume no one will ever bother us. But
statistics prove different. Someday you may very well
have to stand up and deliver the big blow that
stops an attacker.

That's why I insist that you GO look at Jake's message.

Once you begin reading his powerful words, I think you'll agree
that he's got the right idea for YOU and ME. I've placed his 'bunker'
at http://www.mattfurey.com/lightning_ju-jitsu.html for the next day
or two.

Go visit him NOW - while there's still time left.

Best,

Man Eats Himself to Death

Years ago I heard the story of a weight lifter eating
himself to death.

As the story goes, he sat eating portions of food fit
for King Henry VIII. And while slamming down another
pound of pork - his stomach exploded.

Now, this story may be nothing more than a tall
tale. I haven't found evidence of this happening -
so I won't mention the man's name - but he was
quite famous.

Even so, the fact of the matter is that millions of
Americans ARE eating themselves to death; not
to mention drinking and drugging themselves to
death.

In the book - Reinventing Yourself - best-selling
author Steve Chandler, tells the story of his father,
who at a young age became a multi-millionaire,
then retired (big mistake) and drank himself to
death.

The story was irrefutably true. Not a tall tale. It
gave me shivers. That's how honest it was.

The good thing about booze and drugs, however,
is that you can say no - and survive.

But food - well, as the saying goes, 'Ya gotta eat.'

And eat we do - to the point where we're so fat,
so lazy and so lethargic that we no longer feel it
is normal or natural to move. Many people think
that exercising is odd; not to mention eating a
healthy diet.

Think of it.

Can you imagine the cave man thinking that
moving his body was somehow strange?

Or that it was better to reach for a Coke and
a bag of chips than a leg of lamb?

Can you imagine him going out into the field
and returning with a pizza, a liter of "diet" soda
and some cookies?

Yet, that's precisely what our society has turned
into. A gut-full of gutless terds who have within
themselves the ability to CHANGE - to
REINVENT, to create a new person out of the
old. But in order to do this, people must tap
the power within; the must push the "I want
it" button, crank up their desire and go for it.

This morning I was at the local fresh food stand.

I bought myself seven watermelons. Two seedless.
Two with seeds. One gourd shaped and two
called 'sugar babies.'

I wheeled them into the store to pay.

Man approaches.

"You making some Vodka mixers this afternoon?" he
says.

"Nope," I reply.

I push the cart a little further.

Woman gets in line behind me.

"What are you going to do with those?" she asks.

"EAT them," I reply.

On the way home I call my brother, who has dropped 10
pounds in a week following the revisions I've given him to
my famous Furey Fat Loss System. I tell him what the bozos
in the store said, along with my answers.

He laughs.

"What are you going to do with those?"

Uh-duh!

What do you think I'm going to do - put them for the front
porch, along with a pumpkin - just in time for Halloween?

Or carve them to hang on the wall?

Or toss them thru the neighbor's window?

Perhaps even drill a hole in them to use for some late night
seks.

Wake up, will ya?

I'm going to EAT these watermelons.

And I'm going to eat them the proper way - and yes there is a
proper way to eat them. Do it the wrong way and you get fat -
or your stomach feels like it's going to explode. Or you get gas,
cramps, even diarrhea.

Eaten the right way, however, and the excess flab will fly off your
body so fast you'll think Michelangelo carved a NEW YOU.

I'll reveal HOW to use watermelon - as well as make other revisions
to the Furey Fat Loss System in the August issue of my monthly
newsletter and CD, that you will receive for being a member of the
Matt Furey Inner Circle - http://www.mattfurey.com/furey_inner_circle.html

Enroll To-Day for a year and you'll receive the new formula I'm following,
as well as 7 free gifts that are worth nearly double the fee.

Find out why the Furey Faithful hang on my every word. You'll know why
when you read the next issue and listen to the CD. Get in NOW - while the
getting is grrrreaaat.

Great Seks Exercises

Let me give you the ultimate reason for training
your abs the Furey Way.

It's not so that you take reduce your waistline -
even though that will happen.

It's not so that you lose weight - even though
that happens, too.

It's not that it improves your digestion.

And it's not so that you can look seksy.

No, the ultimate reason for training your abs is
this - when done correctly it increases seks
drive.

Now hold the phone a minute. I did not say
that you had to go out looking for sheep in
the pasture, hehe. And I did not say you had
to engage in seks, now or ever.

I simply said it increases 'seks drive.'

This, my friend, is mucho importante because
your level of seks drive is a reflection of how
fast you're aging, as well as how much stress
you're under, as well as how much magnetism
and charisma you have.

No seks drive - no magnetism and no charisma.
Or very, very little.

So it's important to keep the drive healthy - and
the keys to doing this are proper breathing and
training of the abdominals - and all that lies beneath
or around the abdominals.

In Combat Abs - I give you the Magnificent Seven -
and you can get that book free by becoming an
annual member of the Matt Furey Inner Circle.

Yet, I have yet to reveal what I now consider to be
the very, very best exercises for increasing seks
drive - whether you are man, woman or animal.

In the September issue of my monthly newsletter,
I'm going to cover these exercises - so make sure
you're a subscriber. Make sure you're not guilty of
missing out on this vital information.

In the interim, your August n/l and CD will contain
an update on the world famous Furey Fat Loss System -
an update that is going to make losing weight so easy
you'll think someone carved it off your body while
you slept.

Don't miss out on this issue either. If you enroll today
there's still time left for you to be included in the next
mailing.

Go to http://www.mattfurey.com/furey_inner_circle.html
and get on the schtick. You'll never look back - that I
assure you.

Kick butt - take names,

Matt Furey
Int'l best-selling author of Combat Conditioning, Combat Abs and a plethora of
other powerhouse programs.

P.S. If a 1-year commitment seems too big a step for you to take right now - then
I suggest you take your first step forward and enroll in our 1-month test drive.

Laugh in the Face of Pain

I'm in the gym teaching a martial arts student how
to use his bones like a knife. I'm showing him how,
just by a change in thought, you can make your
forearms feel like blades.

He's not seeing through the mechanics of what I'm
teaching. He's only thinking about where his arm goes,
where his foot goes, and so on.

I grab him, toss him to the mat and teach him how to
use your entire body like a saw.

'How do you do that?' he shrieks.

'I told you,' I said. 'I put an image in my mind of my
body being something other than what it supposedly
is. Then I let my body act upon that image.'

Later on when I'm applying various holds he's yiping,
'Owww. Aaaah. Uhhh. Huuuh,' and so on.

Finally I get tired of hearing him whining in pain. So
I tell him, 'Alright, start over. Now this time there is
no whining. When I'm putting on these holds, you can
smile and you can laugh - but there's no more 'Owww,
that hurts.' Got it.'

He nods.

I put the first hold on and he starts to say 'Ouch.'

'What did I tell you?' I say.

'Sorry, forgot.'

Two minutes later, after putting on the same holds, the
guy is smiling and laughing. He's not feeling pain the
way he was before. Instead of putting on theatrics with
his screaming, he's silently mastering his emotions and
his thinking - and concurrently, his body.

I'll never forget the day my wife, Zhannie, rolled up the car
window while her father's fingers were inside. He looked at
her with a stoic expression, knocked on the window and
pointed to his fingers.

Zhannie's eyes bugged out as she cried, 'Oh no, what did I
do?'

She pushed a button, rolled the window down. Her father,
who 65 at the time, removed his fingers, looked at the
indent from the window. Didn't say a word. Opened the
door and got in.

I looked at him and smiled. He nodded.

My brother, Sean, told me how he taught his daughter, Erin, to
be tough. When Erin was a child, like all kids, she would fall
when running around the house. She'd bump her head or
bruise her butt.

And when she fell, Sean would stand at a distance and wait for
her to get up. He would not rush to her aid with, 'Oh, are you
alright? Did you hurt yourself?'

Consequently, when Erin took up basketball, she was a different
breed. Even though only 5'4' - as a freshman she guided her team
to the state championship. And one of her secrets of success is what
I call 'Furey's Rule.' It means, in short, NO WHINING.

In the heat of battle, when many of the other girls got knocked to the
floor, they'd lie and writhe in pain for a minute. It wasn't like they had
sprained an ankle or torn a hamstring either (a different situation).

No, they simply fell and hit their fanny.

'When Erin fell,' said Sean, 'she'd just get up and look for the ball.'

I laughed when he told me this. It shows, once again, that even in the
face of pain, we are still in charge. We can rise above the pain. We can
choose the direction we want to go.

It doesn't matter whether the pain is physical, financial or in a relationship.

If you make a choice to be a winner instead of a whiner - you'll be amazed
at how different life will be for you. You'll learn to transcend life experiences
at a level others will consider legendary. You'll have the tools that will help
you create the life you want.

Living program - http://www.psycho-cybernetics.com/zrlcourse.html

Best,

Matt Furey

P.S. I was in pain before - in virtually every area of my life. But I rose
above it by learning to make friends with myself. I built an empire from
the pain I felt by choosing to focus on something other than the pain. Then
one day I realized I was happy all the time. You can learn what I know and
rise above it all too. I know what it takes to rise above problems. I'll show you
the fastest way to rise above the herd and make something of yourself at my
October seminar - http://www.knockoutmarketing.com - get in NOW

How to Rise Above Problems

I'm sure you've had the experience of something
going bad.

A tire blows out when you're driving.

Someone is rude to you on the phone or in person.

You're wrongly accused of something.

Your so-called friend is jealous of you.

You got fired from your job.

You lost a big sale.

Or you get into an argument with a friend or
co-worker.

When this happens you probably adopted
a "this sucks" attitude. Then you talked to
others who agreed with your position.

Collectively, you arrive at
the same "this sucks" conclusion.

Truth is there will always be things that happen in life
that we don't like - yet, and this is important, we can
still carry a sense of happiness and joy within no matter
what happens. Even when enduring physical pain we can
be happy.

It's not so much about having a positive attitude or "being
positive" as it is making a choice to be creatively alive; to
be actively involved in making something good happen.

When you're faced with problems you don't have to immediately
react and start solving them. Instead, you'd be surprised how
often you can stand back and say, "Alright, instead of viewing
this as a problem, let me think of creative ways to build around
this, to leapfrog it, to transform it into something good."

At my seminars I've told a story about the two men who found themselves
at the bottom of a canyon. One man cried and moaned about how
much work it would be to get out of the canyon. He moaned about how
far he had fallen. He calculated how much work and time would be involved
in getting out of the canyone - and when he had the answer he sat with his hands
on his face, pouting.

The other man looked about the canyon. He noted there was a stream
for swimming, fishing, bathing - it even served as a wonderful view for
him to practice his painting. He saw the rocks and sticks and figured
he could build a home and stay awhile. With fresh air, sunshine, plenty
of water and a place to sleep, all was well in his world.

He went to bed that night a happy man with dreams of creating something
with what he had around him. The other man sat up all night thinking about
his problems.

Moral of the story is simple: Create what you want in life regardless of
circumstances. Don't try to solve a problem before you begin creating.
Create NOW and in many cases the problem will go away.

When it comes to money - most people go into problem-solving mode.
They try to figure out how to get out of the canyon instead of how to
create what they want NOW. Big difference.

When it comes to health, people focus on the weight they need to lose
instead of on the body they want to create. Muy diferente.

Focusing on problems is not something creators do. Creators create.

You were born as a creative human being.

Use that creative power. Rise above petty nit-picking, fault finding and
problem solving. Rise above whining and complaining.

Think about what you want - independent of your problems - and get to
work on it.

The first day you do this, I guarantee you'll sleep better. And you'll sleep
happily.

For more on how you can do this, be sure to get your hands on Dr. Maxwell
Maltz' Zero Resistance Living program - http://www.psycho-cybernetics.com/zrlcourse.html

Best,

Matt Furey

P.S. I was in the canyon once - financially speaking. And I built an empire in that
canyon. One day, from that canyon, I wired a check that wiped out all previous
debts. I know what it's like to be down - and I know what it takes to rise above
problems. I'll show you the fastest way to rise above the herd and make something
of yourself at my October seminar - http://www.knockoutmarketing.com - get in NOW
while you can still get a seat.

Get Up - Get Moving

When your eyes open each morning, it's tempting to
begin the day with, 'I'm tired.'

Yet, most of the time, the only reason you're tired is
because you're continually telling yourself that you're
tired. And if you don't believe, keep a log on this phrase
for the next week and see how often you say it to yourself.

You may be amazed at the number - and NO - it's usually
not 10 or 15 times - but hundreds of times.

What's the value of keeping track of this thought, this negative
thought. Well, when you keep track of how many times you
say such a thing to yourself, you'll have something called
'awareness.' And this awareness, although it may be a bit
unpleasant to face, is the first step in the right direction.

Now, instead of beginning your day with 'I'm tired' - why
not say, 'Get up. Get moving.'

Then spring out of bed.

Even if you feel groggy, start rotating your joints from head
to toe. This alone will remove the sleep from your system
and increase the blood flow throughout the body. You'll start
feeling like the trillion dollar machine that you are.

After this, do a set of Hindu Pushups - followed by a set of
Hindu Squats. Proper instructions on how to do these exercises
are in my int'l best-seller, Combat Conditioning - which you can
obtain gratis by becoming a 1-year member of the Matt Furey
Inner Circle - http://www.mattfurey.com/furey_inner_circle.html

In fact, along with this book, I give you six other gifts - in total - they
cost more than the 1-year membership itself.

Not only that, but we have an exclusive member's only discussion board
wherein you can ask others in the group - as well as a team of experts,
including me, as many questions as you have for an entire year. That,
my friend, is a steal.

To succeed in life it is best to remember that no one makes it all alone.
Every time you see someone succeeding, rest assured he had a coach,
a mentor, and/or a group of people he was in regular contact with.

To get fit, you want others around you who push you to become better
than you think you can become. No boxer enters the ring without a
manager. Neither should you attempt to get fit without guidance.

If a 1-year commitment seems too big a step for you to take right now - then
I suggest you take your first step forward and enroll in our 1-month test drive.
You can read about it at this link - http://www.mattfurey.com/fg324trfsr3ttai.html

At any rate, keep that log. Get up and get moving. Move your joints and do the
Royal Court from Combat Conditioning and YOUR life will change for the
better.

Kick butt - take names,

Matt Furey

Samurai Breathing

'Deep breathing alone has made many a weak man strong
and many a sick man well.'

These words come from the immortal teachings of Martin
'Farmer' Burns in his 1914 by-mail course, 'Lessons in
Wrestling and Physical Culture' - available at
http://www.mattfurey.com/farmerburns.html - but they
could have just as easily come from the ancient Samurai of
Japan - or the old-time Jiu-Jitsu masters.

For example, in a 1911 book on Japanese exercise methods
that I read many years ago, I recorded the following:

'The ancient samurai was accustomed to going out
into the open air as soon as he rose in the morning. There he
devoted at least 10 or 15 minutes to continued deep breathing,
standing with his hands on his hips in order that he might feel
the play of his muscles.'

Breathing in the open air was also recommended by Farmer Burns
as well early American fitness pioneers such as Charles Atlas, Bernarr
MacFadden and Paul Bragg. These men truly knew what they were
talking about.

Today, in most fitness programs taught around the world, deep breathing
is practically ignored. This is a major mistake as, to quote one of my former
teachers, 'Your breath is your power.'

You can tell a lot about a person simply by observing how he or she breathes.
In fact, I believe you can map out the structure of how the person lives life.
Shallow breathers tend to be shallow people. Deep breathers tend to be
interested in far more than the superficial.

The sound a person makes when breathing, especially while exercising, is
also revealing. Does he or she have a problem with being seen or heard? You'll
know by whether or not you can hear the person breathing. Does this person
breathe in a way that says, 'life is a struggle' - or in a way that shows how
they simply 'flow?'

Maybe you've never paid much attention to the subject of deep breathing
before. For the first 25 years of my life I didn't either. Yet, I assure you,
life is much better when you're in tune with how you breathe.

Pay attention to your breathing. Make sure it is deep and full.

Spend 10-15 minutes per day working on it and you'll readily understand
why your breath is your power.

Members of the Matt Furey Inner Circle are taught the details of deep breathing
and much more via my monthly newsletter/CD and online coaching forum. Enroll
for one year in the MFIC and you'll get Combat Conditioning, Combat Abs and five
other products absolutely phree - as well as answers to all your questions on the
exclusive online discussion board - http://www.mattfurey.com/furey_inner_circle.html

good' - http://www.mattfurey.com/fg324trfsr3ttai.html

Kick butt - take names,

Matt Furey

P.S. One of the greatest things about the conditioning I teach is that
it gets you to breathe deeply, even if you don't want to or don't
know how. This alone is enough to do as Farmer Burns said, 'Make
many a weak man (or woman) strong and many a sick man well.'

My Strange but True Exercise Program

All I care about is results. Show me a
fitness program that looks odd, feels strange,
or that others don't approve of - and I'm right
on it - if it works.

Well, for the past seven years I've been teaching
Combat Conditioning and my students have reaped
HUGE rewards.

They've lost weight. They've gotten stronger than
ever. They've won championships. And many of
them have integrated what I teach into their work
as personal trainers.

Seven years ago, no one had even heard of Combat
Conditioning. Today, the buzz is on all over the world.

But - seven years is a long time, and during that stretch
I've continued to learn and improve upon everything I
teach. And I still integrate new things I discover into my
training regimen. When they prove to be powerful, I tell
the Matt Furey Inner Circle members what I've learned -
and they benefit enormously.

Most recently I began following a routine of doing things
backwards. This is something I've learned in China, during
my long stays there.

When I first saw this stuff and merely observed, I thought it
was strange. But the moment I dove in and DID the program,
I KNEW I was onto something big.

That's why, each night, no matter how tired, no matter how much
work I still have to do - I go outdoors and train in reverse. And
one of the things I do involves 2000 repetitions. It takes a half-
hour - but the improvements I've garnered, physical as well as
mental have transformed my life.

I'd like for you to get in on these strange but true secrets, too.
And you can when you're a member of the Matt Furey Inner Circle.

Right now you can enroll for a year and receive 7 gifts that are worth
more than the fee for your annual subscription. Enroll NOW by going to
http://www.mattfurey.com/furey_inner_circle.html

Or, if you'd prefer, start off with a monthly test-drive. You can always
upgrade later when you've seen that the "goods I gots for you is real
good" - http://www.mattfurey.com/fg324trfsr3ttai.html

Oh, one more thing, the new exercise routine I'm following - the one where I
do 2000 reps - well, it's easy, it's painless and it's powerful. It doesn't look
like much - but Holy Bejuices, Batman - it works.

Kick butt - take names,

Matt Furey

Seize the Day

Yesterday I spoke with my neighbor. He's hit threshold. And
he's ready to make a big change.

For over 20 years he's worked in 'corporate' America - and as
you can imagine, has hated every minute of it. Not only does he
work his buns off at the job site, but when he gets home, he's
buried in email that 'must' be answered.

This takes away from time he'd like to spend with his family.
And it takes away from time he'd like to spend with himself.

I told him I'm at my beach condo on weekends, and why
doesn't he and his family come over and we can 'hang out.'

'You know, that reminds me,' he replied. 'We've been in
Florida for two years now ... and we've NEVER been to the
beach. Not one time.'

'Well, that's easy to fix,' I said. 'Just seize the day.'

Making a life change can be a scary thing. That's why so
many people wait ... forever ... to make the change.

But you don't need to wait forever. If you want a better life,
go get it. Seize the day.

Naturally, you may be confronted with worry, self-doubt and
fear. Tis normal. This is where you have confidence in yourself
and believe that you are never given an idea without the
corresponding ability to make it happen.

About four years ago my good friend, and webmaster, Ed
Baran, called me to say that he'd just been laid off from
his corporate job in the Silicon Valley.

'That's great,' I responded.

'Huh,' said Ed.

'That's great. Now you're free to create the life you want
without having to think about quitting your job. Just start
your own business building websites and writing books and
courses, and you'll never turn back.'

Despite immense concern, Ed did what I told him to do,
and today he lives a great life, free from the stress, strain
and agony of his Silicon Valley days. And by the way, his
income is FAR greater than what he received from the big
whig giant corp.

Ed seized the day.

Now, if you're happy with whatever it is you're doing in
life, then keep at it. If, however, you're not - and studies
show that some 90+ percent of people in the U.S. 'hate'
their jobs - then perhaps you can begin to imagine a
better life for yourself.

If you'd like a helping hand to guide you into your
better life - I suggest Zero Resistance Living by
Dr. Maxwell Maltz. You can order it NOW by going
to http://www.psycho-cybernetics.com/zrlcourse.html

Best,

Matt Furey

P.S. For those of you interested in my October seminar
about making a fortune on the Internet - let it
be known that we have only 27 seats left. Not only that,
but the amount for the seminar is going up considerably
very, very soon. Check your calendario. That's
not far from NOW. Procrastinate no more. Sprint on over to

Rapid Fat Loss

As such, I'm going to limit the number of NEW 1-year commitments to no more
than 199.

Tis fine with me - for
another day or two. So I'm also having a special 'test-drive' enrollment - and you can
read all about the benefits by going to http://www.mattfurey.com/fg324trfsr3ttai.html

Best,

Matt Furey

P.S. The number of success stories in the Matt Furey Inner Circle are legion. Be one
of the next in line who can say they 'Kick Butt and Took Names.'

How to be a Super-Hero

I know a writer who changes into special
clothes before he begins the process of putting
words on paper.

He takes off all his 'normal' clothes, showers,
then, like Clark Kent turning into Superman -
he doffs a sparkling set of silk clothes, puts
on an exotic hat, ciricles his desk like he's
stalking prey - THEN he writes.

Before a surgeon performs an operation, he
goes into a special room, scrubs his hands and
arms for quite a spell, removes all his clothes
and puts on a surgeon's garb.

When a fire breaks out - firemen put on their
protective gear, slide down a pole - get into
their trucks - and it's "off to the rescue."

Each day, you have a choice to do something
similar. No matter who you are or what you do,
you can dream big dreams, then act the part.
You can imagine living the great life. You can
imagine what you'd be doing for "work" if you
were living brilliantly - and then you could dress
up and BE that person. Perhaps for an hour a day.
Or longer. It's up to you.

I will say this: If you begin playing and working in
this imaginary world - not just visualizing it - your
life will begin to change. You WILL begin to know
what it's like to feel Super-Human.

In Zero Resistance Living you learn to get the feeling
each day by entering the Theatre of the Mind -
http://www.psycho-cybernetics.com/zrlcourse.html

Yet, this fall, I'm going to teach fellow and aspiring
entrepreneurs how to change who they are inside
so that they can create an illustrious career for
themselves as a writer, coach, mentor or consultant.

Think of it.

I'm going to show you how to retire early from one
job - and create the career of your dreams.

Part of what I'll be doing to help make it happen for
you involves giving you a new brain. Yes, I've already
arranged for the delivery of these brains.

But even more than that - I'm going to have another
delivery of Super-Hero capes. These will be the capes
that you put on when you sit at your desk to do your
Super-Hero work. Or the cape you wear when you move
about your home or office, practicing the life you really
want to have.

There's even more in store for you - if you come to my
October seminar. It's going to be the most incredible,
extraordinary event you've ever attended. A real life-
changer.

Be sure to enroll NOW. We only have 41 more seats left.

Demons of Self-Doubt

Last week I wrote about Slaying the Fear Demon. Today
I'm going to write about the Demon of Self-Doubt.

Now, you might wonder why I refer to fear, self-doubt,
worry and such as demons. The answer is simple: Those
who are under the influence of fear or self-doubt, usually
always act as if they're possessed. They are far from
serene, peaceful and centered.

And so, whether or not we're talking about a 'real' demon -
is not the issue. When someone acts in a fearful, self-doubting
manner, there ain't much difference betwixt real and imaginary.

The demon of self-doubt usually expresses itself with the following
phrases:

'I'm 40. I'm out of shape. Will your program work for me?'

'I'm 100 pounds overweight, do you think exercise can help?'

'I've tried other programs before and they didn't work for me because
I sat on the couch all day and refused to exercise. So I'm skeptical about
whether your routine can move my parked ass.'

Okay, maybe you think the last example was a 'stretcher' - yet I assure you
I've seen plenty of emails that stretch well beyond it.

People today don't get it. A fitness program works, mostly because of who
YOU are. It works because there's a man or woman of 'steel' within - and
this person, unlike the demon of self-doubt, believes in YOU. This INNER
MAN wants you to succeed, thinks only of you succeeding and sweeps
from your mind any thoughts that conflict with your vision of success.

A person who is in touch with his INNER MAN never asks self-doubting
questions - and if he ever does, he immediately slaps himself, purges
the demon of self-doubt by doing so, and refocuses his mind.

It is easy to say, 'Oh, that worked for you because you're young, or
because you have good genes, or because your mother loved you.'

But all of that is bunk. A program works because you decide that it
will work. You commit to it and you follow it.

Now, the fact of the matter is this: Combat Conditioning works faster
than any other program on the market. Evenso, it won't work unless
you follow the program, stay focused on what you want and refuse to
be easy prey for the self-doubting demon.

'There are six million reasons for failure,' said Kipling. 'But not a single
excuse.'

Remember that.

The above is what I teach in detail each month to members of
the Matt Furey Inner Circle. In this month's issue of the monthly
newsletter and CD, for example, I'm going to teach you how to get
some incredible cardio training done in 12 minutes or less - and
thereby blow-torch excess fat off your body. And I'm going to show
you how to REDUCE with the proper foods.

Right NOW you can get enroll in the Matt Furey Inner Circel for the
special one-year membership fee - but you must move your buns
pronto. I'm only allowing 57 more people in at this special all-time low
amount. Go to http://www.mattfurey.com/furey_inner_circle.html and
enroll to-day. You get 7 gifts with your enrollment - so this program is
a virtual steal.

Or you can begin by taking one-step forward on your lifelong journey toward

The Ultimate Fat Burning Secret

For years I've been telling you about the glories of
hill training. I've stated over and over that uphill
fitness training is the ultimate fat burning secret of
many famous athletes.

I wrote about it in Combat Conditioning. I've mentioned
it in dozens and dozens of emails. In response I have received
hundreds of questions.

I've always wanted to put together a course covering every detail of
hill training, from running to sprinting to everything in
between. But guess what? - I live in Florida - the no-hill
state. In order to put together the program I would have to
fly to various places and film it. I didn't feel like doing this.

So I searched for someone who could not only make this
product for you - but do a better job than I could.

Two weeks ago, Tim Kauppinen, aka Coach K, sent me his
course on Uphill Fitness Training. I was in awe. The course
was so good I truly wish I was the guy who put it together for
you.

Believe me now and listen to me later when I tell you that you
must go and take a look at Coach K's Uphill Fitness Training
program. It's the ticket that will take you to the "next level"
- literally and figuratively.

Go to http://www.mattfurey.com/uphill_fitness_training.html and you'll
quickly see what I mean.

Best,

Matt Furey

P.S. Don't ignore this offer. Tim's course will sell out very,
very fast. This topic is red hot with my list. Let's see if we can run so hard
we crash his site - http://www.mattfurey.com/uphill_fitness_training.html

MasterMind Power

Last weekend I held a MasterMind meeting with over
100 like-minded professional DOERS, right here in
Tampa.

The energy in the room was incredible. That's what
happens when you have two or more people working
together in harmony toward a desired aim.

As powerful and necessary using your creative
imagination is - it is also of utmost importance to
learn from others who've 'been there and done it."

Success in life doesn't go to those who want to save
face; to those who want to pretend or appear they
already know everything.

No.

Success goes to those who reach out for help - to those
who understand that no one succeeds alone.

Dr. Maltz understood this. I understand this. And those I mentor
and coach know this to be a fact.

This October I'm having a mind-blowing seminar on the Science
of Super-Human Marketing. Yet, what I teach is universal to
anything you want out of life.

One of the great keys to success is being REAL;
it's being an authentic human being.

Those who ARE real are so uncommon they appear to be SUPER HUMAN.

Amazing, but true.

Last week all 12 seats I had left at the old seminar amount were snagged. I
planned to bump the fee for enrollment - and I did - BUT in a
few days it will get bumped AGAIN, when I release a mega-powerful
video for all to see. When this video gets played, you can count on all
remaining seats being snatched in record time - regardless of the amount
being charged.

So it IS in your best interest to enroll NOW if you're even slightly
interested. The fee will go up again - considerably - in a few days.

There's no time to waste on this.

So go to http://www.knockoutmarketing.com and enroll NOW.

The Slave-man Diet

Are you a slave to certain foods? If you answered
yes, I'm betting - with almost 100% accuracy, that
the foods you feel a slave to are sugars, pastries and
starchy carbs, such as bread, pasta, rice, etc.

Today I'll focus on starchy carbs, from herein on out
to be called 'slave foods.'

What's a slave food?

A slave food is ...

a. a food that you are addicted to, feel enslaved to;
can't quit eating.

b. a food that conquered people are forced to eat,
such as rice, wheat, corn and potatoes. The food
must be cooked - and when eaten, although filling,
it weakens the body.

Today, in little ole 'merica - many people sit for a
meal of all the slave foods listed above. They get all
of them in one sitting. Sure, the eater may have some
protein - but it's pushed down the gullet with french
fries, hash brown, bread, corn and rice.

Sit at table in a nice restaurant. First thing brought to the
table is bread. After eating this you get your meal - which
usually contains bread, rice, pasta and so on. You leave the
table mighty full - even bloated. You feel happy and lousy
at the same time.

The next day, though, the happiness is gone. You feel
lousy. You look in the mirror and note that you're getting
fatter and fatter.

What you don't see, however, when you look in the mirror,
are your blood sugar levels. They are bouncing off the walls.

Now, you can help stabilize your blood sugar levels from
exercise, deep breathing and proper rest. Yet, if you continue
to bombard your stomach with slave foods, sooner or later,
you run a high risk of becoming diabetic.

20 million Americans are already diabetic. 41 million are diagnosed
pre-diabetics. And there are millions more who are NOT yet
diagnosed.

Americans are getting fatter and fatter by the day. So are the
British - the Australians - AND - not kidding you, the Chinese.

The Chinese, some 20 years ago, considered it a compliment to
say, 'Ah, you're getting fat.' No one in China was trying to lose
weight 20 years ago.

Today, 'I need to lose weight' is said by many a Chinese. On the
one hand they have a deep culture containing many of the most
powerful exercises on the planet - but once they begin eating more
and more packaged foods - along with a ton of cakes and other
pastries - look out. It's blimp city. Naturally, having Micky D's and
Kay EF Cee throughout the country doesn't help much either.

If you want to reverse the direction you may be heading in life,
i.e. excess fat around waistline, low energy, lack of strength,
endurance and flexibility, then you owe it to yourself to save
your own life via exercise and proper nutrition.

The above is what I teach in detail each month to members of
the Matt Furey Inner Circle. In this month's issue of the monthly
newsletter and CD, for example, I'm going to teach you how to get
some incredible cardio training done in 12 minutes or less - and

Aerobic Training Kills

Jason, a member of the Matt Furey Inner Circle recently attended
a seminar put on by someone he referred to as a "reputable
American motivator."

At said seminar, Jason learned some interesting "facts" about exercise.
These "facts" were as follows:

Anaerobic training causes:
fatigue,
recurring injuries,
low blood sugar,
fat metabolism problems,
depression & anxiety,
circulation problems,
and creates excess acid.

Aerobic training (or cardio) however,
supposedly has the following benefits:
increased oxygen supply
good for heart
improved digestion
better sleep
improvements emotionally and mentally.

At this seminar the point of view puts across is that aerobic
exercise builds health, anaerobic builds muscle.

In a nutshell, the advice Jason received at this seminar was
practically worthless. Here's why:

1. If you think you only increase oxygen supply through
distance "aerobics" - then you ain't never felt the air
pumping in and out of your lungs after a hill sprint or a
good set of Hindu Pushups or squats - not to mention
burpees, Hindu jumper squats and so on.

2. Although commonly believed, cardio exercise done
for long periods of time does NOT improve the heart.
I'm not saying you should never do it. It can reduce
stress - and it can be challenging and fun. But make
no mistake about it, people keel over and die while
running marathons. What does that tell you? It is far
more stress than the heart needs and the heart doesn't
really like it. I prefer to look at the organs the way the
Chinese Taoists do - and in their book, distance running
would literally overheat and "COOK" the internal organs.

Moreover, distance runners or those who do tons of
aerobics, age much faster than those who do strength
training exercises like Combat Conditioning. Show me
a marathon runner and I'll show you someone who
is aging far too fast. Their free radical damage levels
are always on RED ALERT - and funny thing is, these
athletes think that because they're "in shape" - that
those free radicals don't hurt them. Think again, budding
boy.

3. Regarding injuries - have you ever heard of hip
replacement surgery. Very common amongst distance
runners. Not to mention bad backs, knees, ankles - as
well as faces that resemble an over-dried prune.

4. As for better sleep and digestion - that's a crock, too.
You can do some deep breathing exercises in a chair and
improve digestion and sleep far more than pounding the
pavement.

5. Regarding depression - All you have to do to end depression is
hold a bridge for a minute or so. You'll be so euphoric
afterward you'll feel like no problems exist. This one exercise
can save you 59 minutes of pavement pounding, which is
about what you need to get your "runner's high."

6. Last of all, how stupid to say that aerobics are for health and
anaerobics are for muscle. Sprints improve the heart big time, and
fast. And I know of no faster exercise for dropping the resting pulse
than Hindu Squats. With the health benefits, er, not - of aerobics, I'll
take the muscle you get from the so-called "anaerobics."

This afternoon I ran for time with the Lifeline Sprint Trainer -
available at http://www.lifelineusa.com - connected to my wrists
and ankles. Each jaunt lasted about 20-30 seconds. Did five of them.
Whooped my butt and my heart into better shape. Mixed them in with some
pushups, chin-ups and rope climbing. I was panting like a dog in heat. Sounds
to me like I was getting MORE oxygen than the long-distance runner. Not
only that, but afterward, I slept like a log.

And just think, now I'll probably be depressed because I didn't
waste an hour in the sun pounding the pavement. Shucks.

IMPORTANT: Forget all that non-sense about long-distance aerobics. Enroll in the
Matt Furey Inner Circle - http://www.mattfurey.com/furey_inner_circle.html -
receive 7 gifts automatically - and be entitled to a year's worth of access to
our private online discussion board, wherein you can interact and improve
by asking questions and getting immediate answers. I'm only take a few dozen
more on this special - so get in NOW - while the getting be good.

Kick ass - take names,

Matt Furey

P.S. One last thing: I realize that some people don't want to enroll for a full year. They'd rather 'test-drive' the program for a month to see if they like it. Tis fine with me - for another day or two. So I'm also having a special 'test-drive' enrollment - and you can read all about the benefits by going to http://www.mattfurey.com/fg324trfsr3ttai.html

Time Wasting Cardio

The other day I told a friend something that made
him laugh. What I said is not always true - but it's true
more often than you've previously thought.

Here goes: 'Have you ever noticed how the fattest
people spend more time talking than anyone else?
Look around. Next time you see someone who has
seemingly unlimited amounts of time to shoot the
breeze - take a look at the size of his belly - or his
behind, and take note.'

Harsh words, I know. But with over half the U.S.
population being overweight, 20 million suffering
from diabetes, another 41 million being PRE-diabetic,
not to mention the amount of pills being popped for
depression, anxiety, and so on - there is cause for
alarm.

Think of this: So many people claim they have no
time for exercise, or to eat healthy foods - yet these
same people have hours per day to sit around talking
to whomever comes along. They have time for tee-vee,
too - as well as Internet chats.

Yet - they're busy. They're too busy.

Yes they are. They're busy wasting time - precious time
that can never be retrieved.

TIME is your most valuable asset. It's more valuable
than gold. And it never stops ticking.

Each and every day you have time to make positive choices
in your life. Choices to exercise, to breathe deeply, to imagine
the life you want - choices to do whatever it takes to make
your desires a reality.

Contrary to the way so many people have been taught to
think about exercise - the truth is that you don't need
hours of it per day. Although I applaud those who run
marathons and accomplish endurance feats (these represent
the fulfillment of goals that matter to them), you do NOT need
a long cardio workout each day - or even several days a week.

Long cardio workouts are, for the most part, a waste of time.
Moreover, they're injurious to the body, internally and externally.

You may think you're improving your cardio by running for an
hour - but you're not. You're weakening lung power - and you're
beating your joints to death - giving them a shorter lifespan than
they would normally have.

Want to improve your cardiovascular system, then do Hindu Squats.
It's a far faster way to lower your resting heart rate than distance
running.

The muscles of your legs, in Chinese medicine, are considered your
'second heart.' When you do vigorous exercises like Hindu Squats
and hill sprints, you not only work your heart and lungs - but by
strengthening your legs you give 'insurance' to your cardiovascular
system.

If you want a powerful cardio system - you must BLOW out your
system - just like you would with a sportscar. You don't drive
around at 25 miles per hour in a Ferrari and think that you're
doing the car a favor. NO! You get out on the road and go as
fast as you can - forcing your heart and lungs to adapt to major
stress. This then causes your heart and lungs to get stronger -
and fast.

This is what I teach. And each month, members of the Matt Furey
Inner Circle - receive all the details that are not listed above.
In the August issue of the monthly newsletter and CD, for example,
I'm going to teach you how to get some incredible cardio training
done in 12 minutes or less - and thereby blow-torch excess fat
off your body.

You can get in at the special one-year membership fee if you move

Slay The Demon

I've often written to you about how the pictures, words and
feelings you continually run through your mind and body play
a major role in determining your results.

If you ever lack for motivation to accomplish a task, there are
concrete, specific and negative things you do to yourself to
make life harder on yourself.

Yesterday I was in a tea shop - sitting with laptop, when a young
man in my MasterMind group wandered in. As he was ordering his
drink I looked at his face and his body language. Something was
definitely off.

I listened to how he spoke to the lady serving him, how he paid
his bill and how he responded when given the change.

I said nothing.

The man wandered over to my table and I listened to a couple
long sighs. I said nothing.

About a minute later the man began to open up - telling me that
a bomb had just gone off.

Now, don't know about you - but the word 'bomb' is something you
use in a war. But not for this guy. Nope. He receives a telephone
call and the message in the call is ... a "bomb."

He begins to tell me about his problem - doing so as if there is nothing
he can do.

I look at him and say, "My goodness, you have a brain, right? You can
think, right? I'm not talking to an imbecile, am I?"

"No," he replies, dejectedly. "But I don't know what to do."

"Let's start by pulling out a legal pad. Write your name at the top.
Then date it. Now write an empowering question at the top of the page. And
once you've done that, sit there and record everything your mind spits
out."

He nods.

"Look at you," I said. "Your face looks like that of a frightened 3-year
old child."

"I know it does because I'm scared."

"Is being scared the right way to use your mind? Tell me right now what
you're going to accomplish with this situation by sitting around letting
fear control you. YOU must control fear. You're in charge big fella.
Change what you're feeling to something that will help you - then get off
your arse and do something. Quit acting like this is the end of the world. It's
not. It's just one challenge that you're facing - and that you CAN conquer, if
you'll do something."

The man got the message. A few seconds later his face softened. His bad
posture improved. He left the tea shop and spent the rest of the day
making calls to create the result he wants. I have no doubt he'll surprise
and amaze himself, if he keeps moving and doesn't allow the demon of fear to
run his life.

The same situation I have described holds true in fitness.

Here's proof - this bit coming from a long-time Matt Furey Inner
Circle member:

Good morning,
This morning was a bit of challenge for me... On my walk into the
office, I usually plan what I am going to get done and how I want to go about it,
including my morning round of pushups. Well this morning, my inner voice was
telling me that I deserved a day of rest and I didn't need to push myself to get my
pushups in.

It sounded so good, I almost fell for it!

Again, before I dropped down for my first set, the little voice was
telling me that I didn't need to and I would feel better for resting today. Man, that
little sucker can be persuasive!

Well, I dropped down and pumped out my first set of 30 and told that
bastard to shut the hell up! Then I told it, if you're gonna talk, then start
talking to me in a positive way.

Well, I got my sets in and I feel better for it.

Regards,
Tony Griffin

M.F. Right on, Tony. Good work.

This post by Tony is merely one post in a line of droves
that inspire and motivate the others in the MFIC. It IS the place to
be - and the monthly n/l and CD you get from me will keep you in check,
making sure you conquer all the demons that might try to ruin your
life.

At present we are looking at limiting the number of people who can
enroll for an entire year. The amount for the year is far too low compared
to the value being delivered. I'm frequently embarrassed when I think of how
much people are getting for nuthin when they join - especially when I
examine how much people in the MFIC have improved.

As such, I'm going to limit the number of NEW 1-year commitments to
no more than 199 - and as of right now - 78 of them are already taken. Sprint
on over to http://www.mattfurey.com/furey_inner_circle.html and make sure you're not left out.

One last thing: I realize that some people might be a bit timid about
enrolling for a full year. They'd rather 'test-drive' the program for a month
to see if they l ike it. Tis fine with me - for another day or two.

Go to http://www.mattfurey.com/fg324trfsr3ttai.html to look into
starting your test-drive membership.

Best,

Matt Furey

P.S. The number of success stories in the Matt Furey Inner Circle are
legion. Be one of the next in line who can say they are kicking butt and taking names.
