How to Get Mentally Prepared

Right now I'm preparing for the Glazer-Kennedy
Info-Summit in Atlanta. I speak Thursday night from
7:30 to 10:30 PM. Many of you will be there and I
look forward to meeting you.

On Friday afternoon I speak for 90 minutes on
Psycho-Cybernetics.

That's 4.5 hours of speaking.

Some people have asked what I do to mentally prepare
for a presentation.

The answer is virtually the same as what I did to prepare
for a wrestling competition or martial arts event. I take time
to be alone. I have no distractions. No tee-vee. No radio. No
newspapers.

I simply sit quietly in a room all alone - and whilst there I
breathe deeply and relax.

Michael Masterson of Early to Rise fame, remarked some months
ago that when I speak I am relaxed almost to the point of non-
chalance.

I don't know if I would go THAT far, but I will say that being relaxed
is a major part of success, whether it is sports, speaking, writing,
selling or doing surgery. If you are tense, other people pick up on it
and they become tense, too.

You can always tell when something was difficult for someone to write.
How? Because it's difficult for you to read.

Same goes for everything in life.

If you can simply relax and let it go, relax and let it flow - without effort -
others will respond to you differently.

Had a surgeon I spoke to some months ago. He told me that the night before
surgery he watches videos of surgery. That's how he begins his mental preparation.
Then he relaxes and visualizes the result he wants.

When he told me this I was amazed to know that the same procedure I followed
for wrestling and martial arts was nearly the same as what he followed before surgery.

Something to be learned from this.

Study and prepare yourself - then relax, let go and let it flow.

Look forward to seeing y'all in Atlanta. I'll have an extensive report in
my newsletters for the Elite Gold Crown Program. Look into it to-day -

My Opinion of Lasik Eye Surgery

On August 31, shortly before going under the
laser to correct my vision, I had 20/50 vision
in my right eye and 20/400 vision in my left.

On October 21, my surgeon, Dr. George Thurber,
of Biloxi, MS, tested me again.

The test took place in between rounds of my most
recent seminar in Tampa. It was Day 4 of five-straight
days of teaching. I had only gotten 3-4 hours of sleep
per night from the day the event began. So you'd think
my vision might be a little off.

And I guess it was. But that's only if you think 20/15 in
the right eye and 20/25 in the left is a bit off.

Ask me my opinion, though - and I'll tell you how awesome
it is to be able to read without glasses; how great it feels to
see BOTH sides of the room, all the way to the back, when I
speak; and how thrillng it is to know what my doctor told
me upon examination.

"Matt, if you're not seeing it - NOBODY is."

WOW.

For most of my life I've had a lazy eye and it wasn't getting
any better with age.

Yes, I thought about natural methods of improving my eyesight -
but the fact of the matter is that I already have enough to do each
day and I was tired of having poor vision. I was tired of not being
able to read for long periods of time - of not being able to read the
fine print - as well as the NOT-so-fine print. I was tired of having
to move to a different room with better lighting in order to read something.

I wanted a change NOW - and I was willing to risk what I had
in order to get it - but NOT until I found someone who was "the best" -
as well as someone I liked and trusted.

The idea of having Lasik surgery is frightening, no doubt. No
one wants his eyes operated on. But when I met Dr. Thurber and
talked to him about it, my thinking changed. I relaxed and trusted
that everything would be okay. Most certainly, when I heard that he has
done 5000 surgeries without a single person losing a single line of
vision, I was ready to move forward.

Instead of having the surgery done locally, I flew to Biloxi and stayed
in a hotel for 3 days. I was treated first-class all the way. And when I
flew home on September 1 - I was already a changed man.

I can't thank Dr. Thurber enough. And I'm passing the word to any and
ALL who are thinking about getting Lasik done. You might not want to
take a flight and visit someone out of your area to have the procedure
done - but for ME, it was the way to go.

I took the flight because I believe in working with those whom
I can wholeheartedly trust.

When it comes to my eyes, trust is of utmost importance - and I hope
it is for you, too. Dr. Thurber earned my trust not only because of his
track record - but because of his kind, warm and friendly demeanor.
He's a down-to-earth man, and he's my kind of guy.

I am profoundly grateful to him - and as a show of my gratitude I'm
telling you about his new website. I get nothing for telling you this -
other than the satisfaction that somene else will come to know the
miracle of Lasik, too.

Confidence vs. Arrogance vs. Humility

Back in my early days as a collegiate wrestler, my
father and I exchanged many letters, most of which
I still have.

In one of my letters I told my father that I was "working
on being more humble."

He wrote me a lengthy letter explaining what humility is -
and what it isn't. I never forgot the message.

Before receiving my father's letter, I thought humility was
saying you're no good when you are, refusing to blow your
own horn, bowing to your inferiors, talking in a low voice,
taking a job beneath your true worth, never showing passion
or excitement of any kind, never smiling, earning an income
below what you could - and so on.

Earlier today I reviewed an email from a man that I coach. He
was asking similar questions. Our correspondence appears
below:

Hi Matt,
I got the Zero Resistance Living course - am digging in. Question:
How do you square being humble with being confident? I always
seem to have trouble with the line between confidence and arrogance
- in other words I think I hold myself back by being "humble" because
I don't want to be cocky or arrogant.

Thanks,
John

John,
Great question. Humility is supposed to be an accurate assessment of
your talents and abilities. If you're the best at something, it is not humility
to pretend otherwise - just as if you're lousy at something, it is not real confidence
to pretend you're great. You can imagine being great - yet that is very different
from telling someone you're great when you aren't.

At the same time, some people have a "See, look how humble I am" orientation.
This is also false. It is pure ego and something people quickly read through.

If you're number one, you can be humble by saying, "I'm the best - but I'm
still working on improving myself because there is always a way to get better."
This statement encompasses BOTH confidence and humility.

Or, "Today I was at my best. I did a good job. Tomorrow I want to do better."

That's confidence. Nothing arrogant about this statement at all.

When I first won a national title in college - I was interviewed by the tee-vee
and papers. Over and over I said stupid things like, "I was lucky."

Days later when I would be introduced as a "national champion" to others, I
put my head down in shame. I acted embarrassed.

This was NOT humility. Moreover, it would not be cocky to simply smile, thank
the person who introduced me and shake hands with the people before me,
telling THEM I was glad to meet them.

Cockiness or arrogance is a false front designed to protect oneself - or to
showboat for greater attention, publicity, etc. Some of it has a place. Nothing
is either 100% good or 100% bad.

But the arrogance that stinks is that in which the person doesn't listen to anyone.
He's got too much knowledge; he's too smart; has too much Zen. I have no
patience for those who are full of themselves or for those playing the phony
humility game. Both need good kicks in the rear to wake them up.

True, some will not like your confidence - they may even call it arrogance -
but if they're not successful - pay no heed. They're afraid of what they don't
know and jealous of what they don't have. Your job is NOT getting others'
approval. Your job is being true to what is highest in you.

Why November is YOUR Month

In a few days I'll be making an announcement regarding
my 2007 Universal Health, Strength and Power Seminar.
It's gonna be a hog roast - in more ways than one, so stay
tuned.

You'll want to move fast to make sure you get a seat. Last year
was a sellout - and this year promises to be even better than a
year ago (hard to imagine) with a grand prize for the winner
of the Combat Conditioning Contest for a considerable sum
of dough.

Again, stay tuned.

In the interim, make sure you're a member of the Matt Furey
Inner Circle - as I give extra special treatment to those who
are 'in the group' at these events.

All the October issues of my newsletter and CD have been mailed -
but November promises to be better than ever - with a single dietary
change that virtually anyone can make - and this simple change may
result in you dropping all the extra stubborn bodyfat that has clung to
you no matter what.

Not anymore, my friend. Not anymore.

So make sure you enroll NOW because November is definitely NOT an
issue you'll be glad you missed. Nope - November will be the issue that
will turn your life around.

Enroll today and you'll get all of the above - and much more.

Two ways to get the job done:

1. Go to http://www.mattfurey.com/furey_inner_circle.html and
enroll as an annual member.

or

2. Go to http://www.mattfurey.com/fg324trfsr3ttai.html and sign
on as a monthly test-drive member.

That's it, my friend.

Kick butt - take names,

Matt Furey

Don't Get Caught Up

Earlier today I was talking to one of my older brothers
(I have four). He's a successful businessman - so exchanging
ideas with him can be very productive.

Anyway, he asked me how I was doing after my seminar last
week. I replied, "I'm working on getting caught up."

"Forget that," he said. "Focus on what's important instead."

I stopped long enough to let my jaw drop.

"Now THAT is a keeper," I said. "Afterall, the objective is NOT
to get caught up. When you're in business the idea is to have
so much coming in that you cannot catch up. So you're right.
Focus on what is most important and the rest will take care of
itself."

I realize the above sounds odd to many people. We're taught to
finish everything each day. And when you have nothing to do each
day, this applies. On the other hand, when your business is doing
well, it's impossible. You're FAR better off focusing on what is
most important, then next most important - and so on.

Keep this in mind the next time you are trying to "get caught up."

Best,

Matt Furey

P.S. The Psycho-Cybernetics Success Group is whomping bootocks - be

Coming to Earth

After 5 straight days of teaching and coaching - I am finally
coming back to earth. I say this because whenever I give a seminar,
it is not only a transformational experience for those who attend, but
for myself as well.

When it was all over - I had given all I had. I slept no more than 3-4
hours each night for the entire five days - that's how excited I was to
be doing what I was doing.

During the event one man came up to me and said, "I get the feeling
that you really LOVE what you're doing."

I smiled and told him the answer was "YES."

I absolutely love getting before a group of people to visit with them
about success living.

At the same time, in order to keep everything in balance, I have
limits on how much I will do and how often. Even when you're doing
what you love, if you don't take time to rejuvenate, you will soon begin
hating what you love.

THIS is important.

On Sunday evening, at around 8 PM - I called it quits for the five days.
I showered, changed into casual gear, sat in the restaurant/bar and
visited with members of my MasterMind.

Naturally, some came to me with flashes of inspiration and ideas. When
they did so I paused, wiped my forehead and face, then faced them. Message
received. Matt needs time alone. Give him some space. I appreciated their
understanding very much.

It's a tough thing to do. You give and give and give. But you must know when
to stop and allow Mother Nature time to recharge and rejuvenate you.

This is something I didn't do earlier in my life. As a personal trainer back in
California, all I did was train, train, train. This approach never resulted in me
"getting ahead."

Yes, it's important to focus on your work and to work hard. But it is equally
important to rest.

Keep this in mind - especially when you're doing what you LOVE.

Best,

Matt Furey

P.S. Enrollment in the Psycho-Cybernetics Success Group is going gang busters.

The T-Rex Workout

There are two types of dinosaurs: those who are
dead and those who, despite all claims of modern
science - are ... get this - STILL ALIVE.

It's true. And I met one yesterday. He's a T-REX
and a freak of nature.

Truly - this dinosaur is so lifelike you'd think he
was human, like the rest of us.

Naturally, you're probably curious at this point.
You're probably thinking, 'Has Fure-cat finally
lost it.'

Well, there is only one way to get the answer
to such a question - and that is to click the link
I provide you and go see for yourself.

Now, before you click, a bit of warning, this
dinosaur is like you and me. He does a ton
of bodyweight exercises. And he isn't just
big and strong - he's ripped and shredded.

He's got muscles on top of muscles - and they
aren't like all those worthless greased-up bodybuilder
for-show-only muscles.

I'm watching this dinosaur kick butt and his abs
look like they were carved from granite. His back
looks like the second-coming of Hercules and his
arms are bone-crushingly powerful.

So believe me now and listen to me later - you
MUST go check this LIVING dinosaur out right
NOW.

Matt Furey

P.S. If you're reading this far and you haven't clicked the
link yet, it is not ME that needs his head examined. Don't

My Newest Video Clips

The benefits of being a member of The Matt
Furey Inner Circle are compounding like
interest.

A couple weeks ago we began adding online
video clips to the "member's only" portion
of the site. And members are going bonkers.
They're reeling with excitement when they
see how I have improved my flexibility and
strength in all these movements, despite
being in my 40's.

I first wrote and produced the DVDs for
Combat Conditioning in the year 2000.
And what I have to teach you in these
formats is correct. Yet, even when you
already do something well, you can still
improve - and even though I'm the teacher -
I am also "always" the student.

I'm continually learning, refining and improving
what I do - and the bodyweight exercises and
programs I champion are no exception.

And so, if you're not in the Matt Furey Inner
Circle yet - enroll today by going to
http://www.mattfurey.com/furey_inner_circle.com

I'm not sure how much longer we're going to be
allowing new members into the group. I may have
to close down subscriptions as I'm not sure how
many people we can handle on the site when
everyone is going in to view the updates we post
each week in the video section.

One good thing is that previous members who
dropped out are not allowed back in - so this
gives extra leeway to get in.

By the way, you can also test-drive for a month
by going to http://mattfurey.com/fg324trfsr3ttai.html -
but remember, if you're a cheap skate who thinks
he can come and go when you please in order to
soak in all the info without the monthly fee - you're
sadly mistaken. Once you drop - you're gone for
good. I only want truly committed people in the
group. Lookie Lou's need not apply.

So jump on this offer NOW, my friend.

Best,

Matt Furey

My Mother-in-Law Does It

My mother-in-law is 65 years old. And she's Chinese.
A couple years ago she was in bad shape. Knees hurt.
Shoulder hurt. And she wasn't much for exercise - with
the exception of taking a daily walk.

Well, when I came back from China a year ago with the
Chinese Long-Life System, she suddenly became very,
very interested.

None of the movements were difficult. She could do
everything I was doing. Not only that, but the movements
were fun, invigorating and rejuvenating.

She never misses a day following this routine either.
She looks out the window in the privacy of her own room
and does the exercises.

She doesn't need any equipment - just her own body.

Today her shoulder no longer hurts; neither does her
knee. And she walks around with the energy of a
child.

This routine has changed her life.

It will change yours, too - if you're open to it.

Go to http://www.chineseculturesecrets.com/long_life.html
and order NOW.

Best,

Matt Furey

P.S. I'll have to post some pictures of her doing the routine with
me sometime. And BTW, the lady in the photos on the site - the one
here - http://www.chineseculturesecrets.com/long_life.html - is
now 90 and going stronger than ever. Can't wait to see her again
when I go back to China in December.

What's Your Winning Routine

Each and every day you are doing something
that is either moving you toward your goals or
further away from them.

The same can be said of how you communicate
with yourself; how you use your imagination; how
you talk to yourself.

Having a daily regimen that you plan on doing, then
follow through with - rain or shine, is one
of the hallmarks of the super achiever.

An aspiring as well as seasoned writer may write a
minimum number of words each day. That's his
regimen.

Someone else may follow a specific exercise program.
Once again, the program is followed, rain or shine.

Another person might like to paint. Then again, someone
else may enjoy singing, playing piano, reading or making
a few sales calls before breakfast.

Regardless of what the activity is - the daily regimen can
and will increase mind power when you connect it to a
desired outcome.

For example, as a college wrestler - then later on as a
world champion martial artists - I can tell you that there
were many, many practices that were agonizing. At times
my side would ache. Or my hands would shake with ex-
haustion.

Yet, as hard as things were during certain workouts, I would
picture my goal, and suddenly 'all was well.'

When I kept my goal in mind, the side ache became bearable
and the pump I felt in my forearms - no biggie.

But when I didn't focus on my goal - when I simply performed
the activity, things were much harder. There was physical and
psychic resistance. In order to hit Zero Resistance - I simply
changed how I was using my imagination - and the rest was
history. Not only did the workouts get significantly easier - but
I reached my goals as well. A double winner.

I know a man who used this same idea to earn his fortune.
He started on the Internet when he was in his late 20's. A few
years later, he was pulling in a couple mill per year online.

What he did was simple: Each day he'd get up and read his
goal to himself. He'd read it silently first - then outloud. Then
he'd sit in a chair and visualize hitting his targets. Before long
his website was making some major dough.

I know this person well because I coached him along the way.
I told him what to do and he followed directions.

And one of the biggest directions I gave him was as follows:
Choose the one thing in your business that has the highest
rate of return - and do it EVERYDAY. Choose the thing that
will build your career the fastest - and do it EVERYDAY.

The man listened - and he's still listening today.

Dr. Maxwell Maltz never looked at going into the Theatre of
the Mind as a 'sometimes' activity. It was an every day
deal. Each and every day you take time to play with your
self-image - to imagine better days - even when they're
already good.

Going into your private movie house is a daily regimen.
It helps clear the cobwebs from your thinking. It helps
remove the resistance you may have to success - and it
does so effortlessly - provided you'll spend the time.

I suggest you begin with a few minutes per day and gradually
work up to 15-20 minutes. You'll find that amount of time to
be 'the highlight' of your day. You go to that special place
in your imagination where no one can get to you; no one
can bother you; no one can keep you from becoming all
you truly desire.

As a member of the Psycho-Cybernetics Success Group I'll
make it even easier for you to follow a winning routine. How?
By sending you a mega-powerful Amazing Meditation and
Visualization, on CD, to do each month. Also, by sending you
some other motivational tools that will keep you focused like
a laser beam all day long. Enroll today and get these tools -

Give Yourself a Clean Slate

This morning I was getting a bite to eat at a restaurant.
The waitress came by my table and muttered something
in a tone I couldn't quite hear. As she's waited on me many
times before, I said, "Huh?"

"New day, same old shit," she said. Then she pushed her index
finger in a downward manner, as if pressing a rewind button.
She even said, "Everyday is like a recording."

I smiled and said, "Naaaah."

This brightened her day a bit - even though I really wasn't responding
in a way that agreed or disagreed.

Truth is I DO agree with her. SHE is reliving each day as if it's the same.
Yet, when I go to the same restaurant and am waited on by her, each
instance is totally new to me. Even if I order the same food, it's still
new. I don't bring the same old Matt to the table each day. I bring a
NEW Matt, someone with fresh aspirations, inspiration and ideas.

One of the biggest reasons why people have trouble
succeeding is simple: They won't let go of their past.

Instead, they recall, relive and dwell on all the negatives.

Negatives like:

Previous failures
Negative opinions of others
Their own fears and self-doubts

All of these negatives are like old chalk left on a blackboard.
It can be removed by simply taking out an eraser and
wiping the slate clean. But this is only going to happen when
you are willing to do so.

In order to rise above the old chalk, though, you must do
MORE than wipe the slate clean. You must also give
yourself NEW instructions.

These new instructions are no different than the other words
you would read on a blackboard or computer screen -
with ONE major distinction. These words are positive.
They are pure and powerful. And they're designed to
take you where you want to go in life. They're are not
designed to keep you stuck in the past.

There is a time and place to recall the past - but it's the
positive past that needs to be recalled most of the time;
the past that, when focused upon, causes you to create
MORE success experiences.

Each night, before I go to bed, I make sure I wipe my slate clean of
mistakes, failures and setbacks. I wipe the slate clean even if I think
it doesn't need it - because I know that forgetting to do so makes for
a slate filled with notes that someone else placed on the board. Don't
let anyone put notes on your board, yourself included, unless they are
leading to the fulfillment of your goal.

As a member of the Psycho-Cybernetics Success Group, each month I
send you a Success Scroll that contains powerful, positive and success
generating instructions for your mind to follow. I also include a Success
Questions card that you can carry with you during the day.

You're going to want to make sure you get these each month, along with
the newsletter and Amazing Meditations CD.

Go to http://www.psycho-cybernetics.com/success_group.html and get on
board with us.

Best,

Matt Furey

P.S. My October seminar IS sold out. However, we do have a couple openings
left for "standing room only" passes. Go to http://www.knockoutmarketing.com

Great Book Recommendation

If you are looking to turn your present income into serious wealth, what
I have to say today will interest you.

It doesn't matter what your situation is right now ...

You could be struggling to make ends meet and wondering if you'll ever
have the freedom and the wealth you deserve ... or you might already
be making a good living but suffer from that lingering guilt of having too
little time for your family ...

Perhaps you have a successful business and you're looking to take it to
the next level ... or maybe you already have enough money to retire on,
but you want to multiply those holdings for the benefit of your children
and grandchildren.

Wherever you're starting from, there's one thing I am certain of ...

If you want to enjoy the degree of fulfillment in life that you deeply
and truly desire, you have to start making changes NOW. I don't
have to remind you that a wise man once said "An object at rest
tends to stay at rest."

That's why I want to tell you about a remarkable new book titled
"Seven Years to Seven Figures," authored by my colleague,
Michael Masterson.

A self-made multi-millionaire, Michael is an inspiring example of what
happens when you turn inertia into motion and wishes into action.

Beginning as a blue-collar worker in a small middle-class town in
New York State, Michael has built dozens of successful businesses
from the ground up in the U.S., Europe, South Africa, Australia,
and South America. His net worth as a result of these ventures now
runs into the double-digit millions.

Along the way, he has developed into what can only be described
as an entrepreneurial mastermind ... and one who has helped
many of his closest confidantes become multimillionaires themselves.

But perhaps the most remarkable part of the story is that he transformed
each of those people from debt to wealth in less than seven years! All they
did was follow Masterson's simple plan, step by step - the plan he developed
over a lifetime by focusing on one thing: generating extreme wealth.

And that's what his new book "Seven Years to Seven Figures" is all about.

This book will provide you with the specifics to dramatically increase your
salary faster than you can imagine ... start your own string of high-profit-
margin income streams ... build (and grow) an existing nest egg quickly
and safely ... double and redouble your business ... and compound your
investments over and over again to compile a lasting legacy of wealth.

Here's just a small sampling of what's revealed in "Seven Years to Seven Figures" ...

* Achieving a Radical Financial Transformation - How to Go From Bankruptcy
to Millionaire in Six Years

* How to Boost Your Income From $26,000 to $134,000 in Two Years

* The Baby Boomer Challenge: Why 50- and 60-Year-Olds Must Follow
the Seven Years to Seven Figures Plan

* Lessons From Life: What Michael's Learned About Building Wealth Quickly

So if you're tired of wealth-building programs that either don't work or
require you to scrimp and save for 15 to 20 years, I encourage you to
make the best $20 purchase you'll make all year ... and order this book
right away.

And even if you're not ready to buy right now (though I can't imagine
what you're waiting for), I still encourage you to click on the link below,
where you'll find a very interesting report outlining Michael Masterson's
full plan.

Life is But a Drama

About five years ago I was training with a lawyer
friend. He was struggling with his 'business' - I wasn't.

Not surprisingly, we had totally different orientations
toward work, business, making money and so on.

He saw work as something he HAD to do in order to
provide for his family. He also felt restricted in what
he could and could not do because of "the family."

I, on the other hand, also have a family - yet have
never felt restricted in what I could or couldn't do -
even when times were tough.

That reason why has a lot to do with how I view ALL of life.

I view life as a drama that is unfolding upon a giant stage.
I stand back and observe myself and others. I note how people are
reacting to situations that aren't even real - how they take
everything so seriously.

Several months ago I went to the movie theatre. Hadn't been
there since Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith came out. On this
occasion, though, instead of watching the movie, I watched
people. I watched how they laughed, how they cried, how they
got angry ... even enraged.

Yet, nothing on the screen was REAL LIFE.

It was all smoke n mirrors, lights and shadows.
Yet, you wouldn't have known this by the way the people in
the theatre were reacting. They were caught in the drama,
attached to it instead of being observers and conscious players
in it.

Same as how my friend was with his business.

When you're caught in the drama - life is serious business. And alll
the joy, love and fascination for life is zapped. Everything is effort,
struggle, resistance, pain and agony.

If, however, instead of being caught in the drama - you SEE life
AS drama and you consciously choose the role you're going to play -
and if you consciously choose to play your role with great passion
and enthusiasm ... well then, no matter how rough your current
circumstance are - you can figure out a way to rise above them.

How? By changing how you see yourself in this game of life. See
yourself as attached to it, and your options are limited. See
yourself as an observer of life, as an actor upon a stage who
is playing a role to the best of his ability - then your options are
unlimited. You can even switch roles anytime you want because
you're not only the actor, you're also the director and producer.

Making a shift to "observer of the drama" is an easy one to make
when you're loaded with the right tools; the very tools that help
me succeed.

You can find them at http://www.psycho-cybernetics.com/success_group.html

Go get 'em and let the seriousness of life slide off you like water off
a duck's back.

Shaolin Secrets Revealed

I don't often go berserk when I receive something
that is supposedly from China.

I go to China a few times each year and pretty much
consider it my 2nd home. I've been to the Great Wall.
And I've been to many other incredible places, including
the world renowned Shaolin Temple - have even gotten
private audiences with some of the monks and their
top students.

While at the Shaolin Temple I bought a great many
books and VCDs - as well as other collectibles.

So I wasn't expecting much when I received a hard
bound copy of what purported to be recently translated
secrets from the ancient archives of the Shaolin Temple. But
once I opened the volume and heard the crackle of the
binding, twas like opening the flood gates of LOST
knowledge. The knowledge in this volume made all the
VCDs and books I bought on site in China pale in
comparison.

I bought all the commercial stuff. What was sent to me as
a gift was the REAL DEAL.

With every turn of every page I was mesmerized with
the abundance of knowledge contained within. I'm
betting you will be, too.

That's why I suggest you find out more about these REAL -
non-commerical - secrets of the Shaolin Temple.

Go to http://www.shaolinsecrets.com and
see what I'm so excited about.

How To Get Into a State of Flow

Located within your mind is a success mechanism .. and the
size of it depends upon how much you feed it. Feed it success
instructions and it grows so big you naturally begin to attract
what you positively desire.

Also located within your mind is a failure mechanism. Once
again, the size of this mechanism depends upon you and how
many failure messages you feed it - or that you allow others
to feed it (with your consent, of course).

Dr. Maxwell Maltz referred to all of the above as your Servo-
Mechanism. This is essentially a way to say that your mind
doesn't care whether you give it 'success' instructions or
failure instructions. Whatever you feed it the most is what
you are drawn to .. as well as what is drawn to you - and it's
all based upon the physics of how you vibrate.

You think therefore you vibrate.

Whatever is in harmony with how you vibrate is what you pay
attention to and attract. Simple as that.

Now, when a person figures out that his vibration is off, he
can go to work on changing it by changing what he thinks
about.

The problem is that most people are unconscious of what
they are thinking about most of the time. Or, when they
are, they're so used to 'the familiar' that it is often scary
to think the opposite, even though the opposite is far
better for you. The person starts to picture what he really
wants ... and guess what - the image terrifies him.

Omygod, I might actually get what I want. Oh my. Then what
will I do? Strange but true.

Thoughts of being fit and healthy are far better than thoughts
about ill-health, overweight and disease. Mental images of
prosperity and abundance are better than pictures of poverty
and lack. And so on. So why the trouble with the switch?

And how do you go about making a shift to the positive sort of
life you want to live? Well, quite simply - you stop fighting the
negative image.

There's a Zen koan, 'How do you escape from hot and cold?'

Good question, isn't it?

Everywhere you go there is hot and cold.

Everywhere you go there is positive and negative, rich and poor.

So how do you escape them? Or can you?

Truth is, you CAN, but only if you do like Einstein and realize that
you cannot solve a problem on the same level that it was created.

You have to take your SELF to a new level - then, instead of focusing
on the problem - you focus on what you want and how to create what
you want.

Okay, so how do you take your SELF to a new level? The answer is
so simple you may think I'm joking. I assure you I am not.

You go to another level via deep breathing - or what I like to call my
Zen Master Deep Breathing Exercises - which I teach to members of
the Psycho-Cybernetics Success Group.

After a few days of breathing the way I teach, followed by picturing
what you want to create - you will get into a state of cybernetic flow.

Everything will seem to go your way. You'll naturally begin doing more
and more of the things that will help you get healthier, wealthier and
happier.

By breathing properly you'll remove the resistance you have to the
good life. Then, by picturing what you want in a certain way, and
mixing it with breath, you'll come to understand why we human
beings are co-creators of our Universe.

Become part of the Psycho-Cybernetics Success Group today and
you'll discover that deep within your mind is the switch to your
continued success - http://www.psycho-cybernetics.com/success_group.html

The Dumbest Question

Ever have the experience of sitting quietly in your
chair, enthralled with a good book in hand. You are
in your own little world and don't mind being left
alone.

Then someone approaches and sits in a chair near
yours. "Whatcha readin'?" the person asks.

Whenever this happens you're either glad to have
someone to share your book with - or you're really
annoyed. A good friend of mine back in California
used to respond to this question as follows: "If I
wanted you to know what I'm reading I'd tell you."

I guess he feels the question is a dumb one.

As for myself, when I'm reading something really
good, really inspiring, I want to call a friend and
tell him about it. Then we can talk about the ideas
in the book and come up with further ideas about
HOW the information can be used to create the
results we want.

Yesterday I received a package from Amazon.com
with a couple books I ordered. But what excited me
most wasn't the books - it was the the marketing
materials enclosed with the books. I looked at these
bookmarks, held them to the light, studied them in
detail and said, "Now that's brilliant. That's a good
idea. How can I apply this in my business?"

That's how I think most of the time.

I also look at what isn't so good and learn from it as
well. When I see lousy communication skills, whether
by mail, email or phone - I make a mental note. The
dumbness is filed in my "What not to do" box.

When I'm reading a book that POPS with passion and
emotion, I take note. When I'm reading something that
is merely regurgitated information, I note how it lacks
real power.

When you read something that really hits you in the gut
in a motivating, inspiring way - the words themselves only
carry a part of the juice. Of greater importance is WHO
wrote the words and the vibration he had when he wrote
them. If the writer was in a highly charged state when he
wrote his words, you can feel the energy jumping off the
paper, commanding your attention, forcing you to keep
reading. In reading this writers words you are being
nourished.

On the other hand, when you read the words of a writer
who is only a 'word mechanic" - you can feel this, too.
No matter how well the words are strung together and no
matter what the college professors think of his grammar,
it's not GREAT writing because the vibration in the writing
is weak. There's a disingenuous quality to it.

The same idea applies to speakers, salespeople, artists,
musicians, magicians, athletes, martial artists - or anyone
involved in direct public communication with others.

If you pay attention to the vibration you get from others, you'll
find most people are mechanics looking for approval. But the truly
skillful people are those who have surpassed the mechanical
mindset.

To surpass "mechanics" you've got to be true to yourself. And to
be true to yourself you have to be free of the all-too-common fear
of criticism.

Most people are crippled by fear of criticism. They fear others laughing
at them when they fail; or laughing when they are merely trying to
improve. Or criticizing you for succeeding. Amazing, it is, how many
people dumb themselves down in order to "fit in" with the crowd.

When you hear statements like, "I don't want to be rich. I don't want to
be too fit. I don't want to be too smart." - you're hearing the words of
someone who is conforming to the conformists. Don't want to upset
anyone or make them jealous by rising above the masses. Uggh.

Better thinking goes like this: If no one is jealous of me I'm not giving
life all I've got. Or, "better to be envied than pitied."

Give life all you've got. Develop your talents as best you can. Then stand
back and observe who keeps you company. By becoming all you can
you'll eliminate those who are good for you from those who aren't.

Best,

Matt Furey

Your Bed and Your Desk

One of the things I did long ago to transform my business and
my career was feng shui my home and office.

If you're not familiar with the term 'feng shui' - it comes from the
Chinese and is generally translated as 'wind-water.' Doesn't tell
you much with that translation now, does it?

In simpler terms, feng shui means 'the art of placement.' It is
knowing where to place things in your environment with the
intention (a key element) of having these changes bring
you good fortune, good luck, good health, etc.

In feng shui the two most important pieces of furniture in your
home are your bed and your desk. Because you spend
the majority of your time in these two places - where and how
they are positioned are very important. Not only that, but what
you have around yourself in these areas is also important.

This means, first off, if you're an absolute slob with a cluttered bedroom
and a cluttered office (something I must guard against) - you won't be as
focused and action-oriented as the person who keeps things in an
orderly fashion.

First laws of the Universe are order and organization. When you have
order and organization - you experience a feeling of harmony and
well-being. I like to reverse the order and call it H-O-O. Harmony comes
from having Order and Organization.

There is much that I and my wife could teach you on this - and even more
that a friend of mine can teach (he knows Tibetan, Chinese and ancient
Celtic practices of placement). But the true key to understand is that all
the changes you make physically DO have an effect on yourself and others -
and in a BIG way. At the same time, in order for the changes to take place
you must begin to IMAGINE different.

For example, when you place an auspicious symbol on your desk, you tell
yourself, 'I'm placing this symbol here in order to bring me more customers.'

When you clean your messy office, you tell yourself you are doing so in
order to bring harmony into your business affairs and to attract greater
wealth.

When you hang a symbol on the wall you tell yourself that this is to strengthen
my self-image, to give me greater courage and confidence - and so on.

Putting your intention and desire into the changes is Psycho-Cybernetics 101.

Dr. Maltz often spoke about dedicating everything he did throughout the day
to the improvement of his self-image. If taking out the garbage, this was also
a mental metaphor for throwing out the garbage in your own mind.

When cleaning your desk, this is a metaphor for cleaning the thoughts in your
mind - directing them toward something positive that you want to create.

Now, let's say that your home or office is a garbage heap. Well, what can I
say. Not only is this bad for your mind - it's bad for your health, too.

The good news is that when you begin to clean up the clutter - your mind will
harmonize. And if you clean up with the intention of improving your life - and
you think about improving your life the entire time you're cleaning, then loook
out world - here YOU come.

When you're finished getting organized, make sure you take a trip into your
very own private movie theatre - the one in your own mind. Once inside,
clean, organize and polish your self-image. Make it shine brightly. Give it
some sparkle.

Do this and I assure you that your life will change.

Don't Cook Your Organs

Ever notice that people who run all the time age
FASTER than those who don't.

If you look at many marathon runners in their
mid-30's, you'll already see the "prune" look beginning
to etch itself onto their faces. Why is this?

There are a couple reasons:

1. Many distance athletes believe, erroneously, that because
they workout, they don't need to take any sort of supplement
that safeguards them against free radical damage. Show an
endurance athlete a supplement loaded with antioxidants proven
to reduce the risk of illness, including cancer and heart disease,
and don't be surprised if you hear, "I don't need that stuff. I work
out."

Uh - duh. When you workout, your body cranks out MORE free
radicals, not less.

Yes, you need to exercise to get the results you want - but to sweat
and NOT supplement is a mistake. When you take super potent
antioxidants like Pharmaceutical Grade Fish Oil - you can get some
at http://www.drdavesbest.com - as well as berries like elderberry,
chokeberry, black currant and bilberry - you are insuring yourself
against disease.

In China, the longest lived people eat abundantly from fruits,
vegetables, meats, herbs - and green tea. Green tea is a mega
potent antioxidant as well.

2. The other reason for the "prune" look - not to mention the
ready-for-the-scrap-heap feeling inside the bodies of many
distance runners is because, as the Chinese Taoists have taught,
the exerciser is "cooking" his internal organs from over-exertion.

Cooking your organs?

Yes.

It's a scientific fact that some people are "warmer" than others.
Their hands and feet are warmer. They sweat easier. They need
fewer clothes, and so on.

The above is not a bad thing.

However, when you over-exercise and have no method of cooling
your body off, you do internal damage and it shows on your face.

High stress in the home and workplace also contribute to over-
heating, too - so don't think you're off the hook if you don't work
out.

Key thing is you need to have a way to cool off internally. Supplementing
with antioxidants helps - but the way you exercise helps a lot, too. If you
exercise in such a way that your body doesn't overheat - a way in which
you're opening all the meredians in your body, a way in which you're
increasing the flow of chi within rather than obstructing it - well, then, you
will know what it's like to be 80, 90 and up and still be able to move with
ease. You'll know what it's like to still be mentally alert, filled with vim,
vigor and enthusiasm.

This is what you are taught in the Chinese Long-Life System, available at
http://www.chineseculturesecrets.com/long_life.html

The other day I was at the beach - training a couple friends. After one round
of a specific exercise that looked like "nothing much" - the guy turned to me
and said, "WOW. I can feel the energy moving from my shoulders to my
hands. I can feel something clicking internally."

Indeed. That's the difference.

For great health you don't just focus on the muscles. The muscles matter not
if even ONE organ in your body runs amuck. See how strong your legs
are when a kidney fails. Or how powerful your chest if your heart has
an attack. Or how far you can throw a football if your spleen is ruptured.

The Chinese approach to a long-life involves working from the inside out.
That's why it is uniquel powerful. That's why it works.

When Effort Defeats Itself

When we're working to strengthen our bodies or
improve upon a specific skill, we're often told to
put more effort into it. And by effort, we generally
think of two things:

a. Physical effort or oomph
b. Will power

We understand what greater physical effort is. But
"will power?" That's a different story. Especially in
today's day and age when we're told NOT to exert
our will - or to use will power.

We're even advised, and rightly so, in a battle of
will power vs. imagination, your imagination will
always win.

So what gives? Is there a time and place for the
will, or for will power?

There is. But the time and place for it is only to get
you launched. You use your will to give instructions
to your imagination. You use your will to tell your
imagination how much energy to put into something.
After that, the will doesn't have much use.

Trouble is, most people think the key to success is
using will power all the time. It's not. Your will is to
be used from time to time - not ALL the time.

Those who teach will power are generally
fatigued and drained. They use their will so much
they have little energy for anything else. Not only
that but the energy they have is of a lower grade
than the person who knows how to breathe real
life and real power into his imagination.

When you see a master in a sport or martial art,
you aren't watching someone who has mastered
his will. Instead you're watching someone who
used his will to master the use of his creative
imagination.

You do not break bricks through the force of your
will. You break them through the power of your
imagination mixed with the life force in and around
your body.

Same goes with making money, improving your
career, and so on.

You can always tell who is "trying to hard." You can
feel the stiffness of another's speaking or writing from
across the room. Those who over-use their will are
mechanical, even robotic. Those who have mastered the
use of mental imagery are able to flow through the same
job with an energy and exuberance few understand
or know.

A perfect example is the young child who just learned
to walk. Within a short period of time the little guy is
running the adults in the home wild. The child is not
using his will. He's creatively alive. The adult, on the
other hand, is using his will to keep up with the child,
and he is fatigued in short order.

The child is using, without being taught, a "zero-resistance"
approach to life. The adult is "resisting" an obligation and need
to follow the child.

Big difference in orientation toward life.

It highlights the idea of being childlike. Fuel your desires and goals with an
initial shot of will - then let the imagery take care of itself and stop forcing
things. In mental work, effort defeats itself. Learn to 'work' without working
at all. That is true mastery.

Best,

Matt Furey

Global Schwarming

Last night I was surfing. No, not the
Internet. I was surfing the idiot box.

Started with a minute of the O'Reilly
Factor. Watched Bill plug his book, as
he always does - then started to move
around and see what else is on this thing
that I pay a fortune for each month.

A few channels later I find a number of
televangelists. At least seven channels of
'em. WOW.

Then I found a fitness channel. Had a number
of different personal trainers showing Joe and
Jane America how to get fit, how to eat right,
and so on.

The personal trainers weren't the big muscular
'roid heads that are typically paraded on the tube.
And they had one thing right. They had the moms
and pops doing nothing but bodyweight
exercises. Pushups, situps, karate movements
and more. Even hitting a heavy bag.

None of the bodyweight exercises were as good
as what I teach in my Combat Conditioning and
Combat Abs programs - but at least they were on
the right track.

If we could get the whole country to do 108 Hindu Pushups
a day, 108 Hindu Squats and 108 Hindu abdominal exercises per
day, everyday, my goodness the tonnage would begin flying off
peoples' bodies so fast it would cause an earthquake.

On top of that, if we could get more people to toss out all the starches -
or at least cut back to half of what they're eating - why, it may cause
Global Schwarming. Imagine, all those rice, corn and wheat fields
being used for something productive. Imagine all the water being
used to irrigate those crops being used to nourish people who don't
have the cleanest source of H20 to bathe in or drink from.

In addition to doing bodyweight calisthenics and dropping the grains,
if we could get people to give up diet and sugar sodas ....

But aaaah, let's start with some pushups. Let's start with what we CAN
control, our own bodies and what we feed them.

If you're ready to make a change for the better and help cause Global
Schwarming - that's when so much fat flies off our bodies that people
schwarm to the idea of natural living - then the best way to get started
can be found at http://www.mattfurey.com/conditioning_book.html

Real Smiles - Phoney Smiles

When we think of a smile, we think it's something
that shows on the outside of our face. Yet, that is
only ONE type of smile.

An outer smile is a good thing, we're told - but even
more powerful than an outer smile is an INNER smile -
and even more powerful than that is a smile that
permeates your energy field.

You've probably seen someone smile - perhaps a
politician is the ultimate example - and you say to
yourself, "That's fake."

Then again, there's an Inner Smile - one that
has nothing to do with whether or not there's a
visible outer smile. If your Inner Smile is strong
and powerful, people will feel that you're a pleasant
person and they'll like being around you. When they're
in your presence their energy level will immediately
be elevated, and they won't know why. A simple ex-
planations is that they're being nourished by the magnetism
of a forceful Inner Smile.

A smile in your energy field iis a smile that begins with the
way you see yourself and the world in which you live. A
smille in this field is often connected to others and how you
think they feel about you.

For example, if you fear criticism at a deep level - then your
Inner Smile is being robbed from you. Key thing to remember
is YOU are the one letting yourself be robbed - and you're the
one in charge of turning this situation around. As Eleanor Roosevelt
once said, "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent."

Ask yourself, is someone robbing me of my smile? If the answer is
yes - then you owe it to yourself to change your orientation toward
life.

This is something I'll be teaching you in great detail when you're a
member of the Psycho-Cybernetics Success Group. Enroll NOW by
going to http://www.pscyho-cybernetics.com/success_group.html

In the interim, don't let anyone bring you down. Start smiling from
the inside out - and radiate your value to the world.

Power of a Daily Habit

My son loves to draw. When we go to the
beach he'll spend hours coloring and drawing.
He will literally fill an entire notebook in an
evening. Then he'll get up, staple the pages
together and say, "Daddy, here's my new
book."

He'll have his name on the cover - and a few
words sprinkled throughout that explain some
of his drawings. He's proud of what he has
created - and so am I.

Then he wants to know when he'll be a really,
really good artist. And that's when I break the
news to him.

"You can become great in anything you want,"
I tell him. "But not without practice. The real key
to greatness is practice. Anyone can form a goal,
but training is what makes the difference."

I then explain to him that you don't even need to
practice "all day long" to become great.

"Most people never practice," I said. "They don't train.
But if you put in 30 minutes a day on something, you
can become good, no matter who you are. And if you
spend more time than that you can become truly great."

"Why thirty minutes a day," my son asked.

"Because when you develop a good dally habit you are
like a person who is saving stamps. If you collect stamps
everyday, after a few years you'll have hundreds of stamps.
Practice of anything is the same way. When you do it everyday
you're collecting skill, you're collecting energy. And as the energy
builds a bit each day, pretty soon you've got something."

"But I want to be really good at this," he said.

"If you have the desire - and that's the key word - the DESIRE,
then you'll also take the time to practice. To say you want it
is one thing. You must PROVE you want it by practice."

It's easy to think this story is nothing more than a story for my son -
yet that would be wrong. In today's day and age, we are
presented with more opportunities to learn new skills than
at any other time in history. Yet, so many people were never taught
the secret of practice. Not only that, they've never been taught that
the most important skills to learn and practice are the skill of 'thinking' -
the skill of mental picturing, the skill of using your creative imagination,
the skill of ramping up your level of desire, the skill of positive self-talk,
the skill of confidence - and so on.

All of these skills are the "glue" that binds you to a goal and makes the
achievement of it not only possible, but highly probable.

The good news is that I'm making these skills for you to learn via the
Psycho-Cybernetics Success Group. Each month you'll receive a package
of TOOLS that will make it easy for you to form the daily habits that are
going to make the achievement of your goals a reality.

Check it out NOW at http://www.psycho-cybernetics.com/success_group.html

Best,

Matt Furey

P.S. The beauty of practicing with the tools given out as part of the Psycho-Cyb
Success Group is simple: Each day you practice is a day in which you're adding
more energy to your internal fire to succeed. Believe me, if you spend 10 minutes
a day your life will change. If you spend 30 - LOOK OUT.

How to Make Exercise a Habit

Think of all the things you do today that are
nothing more than habits.

Good or bad - you formed them through repetition
of thought - and repetition of deed.

The truth about the formation of habits is that they
start out as ideas - then you act upon them. And if
you act upon them everyday for 28 days - sometimes
less, the habit is locked in. Virtue or vice - the habit
has YOU - you don't have it.

The above is often more true of bad habits than good.

Bad habits are easy to form and hard to break. Good
habits on the other hand, take a little more guts to
form - but once again, when they're locked in you've
got something that is an automatic reflex.

Until ... you start hanging around with people who don't
have good habits - or you go on vacation - or you get sick
for a spell - and so on.

Bad habits are easy to keep because there are so many
people around you who have the same bad habits.

When it comes to good habits though, oftentimes you have
to search for others who can reinforce the good you're doing.
But even if you don't find many others who share your good habits
for exercise, proper nutrition, a positive mental attitude and
so on - this is not a problem so long as you stay focused through
constant reading, listening to audio programs, going to seminars,
etc.

I suggest you form one new positive habit at a time. Spend at least
28 straight days 'hooking' yourself on this good habit. Then, once
it 'has you' - think about adding something else that is good.

One of the great things about the Royal Court from Combat Conditioning
is that the exercise habit grabs you from the inside out. You can be done
with a bodyfat reducing, muscle-building workout in 15 minutes - 30 if you're
hard core. You feel so good doing these exercises that you want to do them
more often. They become a good habit quickly - and they give you the internal
strength to drop negative, destructive habits.

So make sure you do your Hindu Squats, Hindu Pushups and bridging today -
http://www.mattfurey.com/conditioning_book.html - as well as the Magnificent
7 from Combat Abs - http://www.mattfurey.com/combat_abs.html

These workouts constitute the very best habit-forming workout on the planet.

Kick butt - take names,

Matt Furey

Going the Extra Mile

Very few people understand or apply the
powerful principle of "going the extra mile" -
rendering more and better service than you
are paid for.

Not paying attention to this success principle
can drastically limit your earning power. Not
only that, but ONLY doing what you are paid to
do, adds resistance and friction to an otherwise
magnificent career.

Now, just so you know, by "going the extra mile"
I do NOT mean that you should cater to every
begger, mooch and n'er do well who comes
with an open palm. What I'm talking about is
giving MORE to all who have already given to
you.

On the Internet, for example, my entire relationship
begins as a giver. I send out emails every day with
positive, inspiring and helpful messages - and the majority
of these messages reach the eyes and ears of people I have
never met and do not know.

The readers of this email, for example, live all over the world -
many in countries I never heard of until the person bought some
thing and we had to figure out WHERE and HOW to send their
package.

Now, when we send a package to someone, I like to enclose
"unannounced" gifts. We find doing this not only makes the
customers surprised and happy, but it strengthens the
relationship overall.

Recently I announced the formation of the Psycho-Cybernetics
Success Group. As far as the reader of the promotion knows,
he or she is getting a monthly newsletter and a monthly meditation,
on CD - as well as a couple other gifts.

But when the new member receives the package, there will be other
items inside, each of which will make him happy, each of which will
tell him he made a wise decision.

In my dealings with other business people, this sort of exchange almost
never takes place. In fact, I often find that what begins with a high amount
of energy frequently tapers off until it slows to a snail's pace, if not a halt.

This is what happens when you frequently go to the same restaurant or
meeting place. At first the service is great. The staff greets you, is pleased
to see you, thanks you for your business, maybe even gives you an extra
little something to see you smile. But then, after they think they "got you" -
they give their attention to others and ignore you. It's almost as if they say
to themselves, "Okay, he's a good customer. Don't worry about him. Take
care of the newbies."

Yet, when you think about it, the opposite approach is a better one. Cater first
to whomever is giving you the most - I think that's a better way to do business.

True, there are some who will take advantage of you when you go the extra
mile. They'll treat you as if you "should" be doing more than what was paid
for. They'll never thank you and they'll never show any appreciation whatsoever.
But that is NOT to stop you from doing what is a good practice. Simply figure out
who notices when you're doing MORE and reward them. Not only that, when you
find others who are slowly but surely giving you less and less - remember the
axiom - "plenty of fish in the sea."

"Going the extra mile" is not just a business principle. It applies to the student
who practices a little longer and the athlete who gives a little more. I've used it
my entire life - and you'd be wise to do the same. It's always that "little bit
extra" that makes a difference in life.

Best,

Matt Furey

No More Skinny Models

I guess Spain is leading the charge, in more
ways than one. Not only do they put on great
bull fights and turn bulls loose to run through
the streets - but they're the first to ban skinny
waif models from walking down their runways.

The reaction throughout Hollyweird has been
"thumbs up." And this Fure-cat agrees.

But the thing to remember is this: All the B.S.
about being waif thing for women is bad enough -
but there's a whole contingent of men who
think the key to health and fitness success
is having veins showing all over your body,
having an extremely low percentage of
bodyfat, etc.

The fact of the matter is that bodyfat percentages
are only one indicator of a person's health - and
the way they are used today is usually not in a
way that helps anyone.

Show me a bodybuilder with extremely low body
fat percentages and I'll show you someone whom
I can kick the crap out of. Not only can I whoop
him physically - but when it comes to endurance,
flexibility.html" target="_blank">flexibility and strength - the same rule applies.

If you're a man and you have a bodyfat percentage
of 10-13%, you're doing fine. If less than that, okay -
but it's not necessary. In fact, if your bodyfat is too
low you may feel incredibly weak and unfocused.

So get leaner - but don't be foolish. The skin and
bones look is not healthy. It's not healthy for women
and it's not healthy for men.

Pack some healthy, functional muscle on your frame -
drop the excess pounds, but don't go overboard. Focus
most of all on your strength, endurance and flexibility.html" target="_blank">flexibility.
Focus on feeling better and better. Ignore the idiots
and morons who think you need to be rail think to be
healthy and fit. They're as wrong as wrong can be.

Kick butt - take names,

How to Conquer Fear of Criticism

Whenever you see someone who is NOT moving
forward in life, someone who is not trying to improve
his circumstances - it is almost always fear that is
holding him back.

Fear of what?

Fear of failure - yes. Fear of success - sure. Fear of injury -
uh huh. Yes, these fears are common to many.

But fear of criticism is one of the biggest - yet it is also
the least acknowledged.

Many people fear the looks and reactions they will receive
from others when they begin to make changes in how they
do things. It's far easier to sit on the couch or before a computer
getting fatter and fatter than it is to go for a walk or begin
doing pushups and squats.

People generally don't make fun of how fat you are when you're
plopped on a sofa or before a monitor. They might laugh behind
your back, but rarely to your face. But once you walk outdoors
with sweats on, you THINK everyone is looking at you - and you're
afraid they're going to laugh out loud.

But the truth is this: Most people are so busy doing what they're
doing that they don't even see you. And the others, if they're
laughing, they're doing so silently.

Regardless of how others react to YOU - here's the most important
concept you must understand: What other people think about you
is NONE of your business. If someone thinks you're fat, it's not
your business. If someone thinks the way you're training is strange -
none of your business.

If you don't care what others think - what the others think is of no
concern to you. So it won't matter whether you have fear of criticism
or not. You simply acknowledge when you catch yourself being
concerned about someone else's opinion of you. And when you note
how you're breathing shallow and adding stress to your upper neck and
shoulders with the thought of pleasing others - you drop the notion and
say to yourself, 'To hell with them. This is MY life. I'm going to get fit.
I'm going to get healthy - and if someone else has a problem with that,
THEY have the problem, not ME.'

What I have just covered isn't some lofty platitude I am proposing but
don't use myself. Each and every day I receive criticism from someone.
Some don't like the fact that I advocate eating healthy meat. Some don't
like the way I look. Others don't like the way I write. Others don't want me
to write about anything other than health and fitness - and so on.

'Good idea - for someone else,' I think. 'But not for me.'

I don't limit myself because of someone else's opinion. Neither should YOU.

If you want to attain better health, if you want an improved physique or figure,
if you want to go for a walk, start running hills or doing the Royal Court - this
is YOUR goal. Don't ever let anyone distract you from your vision. You are the
one who decides. No one else.

Remain strong. Stay the course. Stay determined.

Make your burning desire for self-improvement stronger than the fault-finding
of others. When your desire burns brighter than the sting of criticism, nothing
can or will stop you.

Best,

Matt Furey

P.S. Some people object to me offering a product in every email I send out. To
hell with 'em. When you've got the best program on the planet for turning couch
potatoes and computer geeks into super-human fitness machines, you don't

How to Light Up a Room

Many years ago, when I was living in California,
I would drop by a water store to fill a couple 5-gallon
jugs.

When I walked into the store I smiled and said hello and
the people who worked there suddenly sprang to attention,
straightened their slumped spines and smiled back.

Just like any other customer, I filled my water jugs, paid
my bill, said 'thank you' and left.

To my surprise, some weeks later, when I hired my first
trainer, I gave him the job of getting the water. After
filling the jugs the first time, he came back and gave me
the following report, 'The lady who works in the water store
said that whenever you walk into their store the whole place
lights up with energy.'

'Huh,' I said. I truly had no idea what he was talking about.
I most certainly had no idea why this was happening either.

The year was 1987 and at that time I had Dr. Maxwell Maltz'
Psycho-Cybernetics on my desk at all times. Each day I pulled
the book out and read a chapter, then did a visualization for my
business. And the more I did this, the more everything in my life
flowed. I felt great every single day. No fatigue. No stress. No
worries.

Yet, I had no idea that all of this could happen from nothing more
than a few deep breathing exercises followed by a few minutes
of mental imagery. How odd.

And I most certainly had no idea that the time I spent focusing
would change the vibration level in my body, so much so that
others would feel the difference in me. Had no earthly idea.

Regardless of whether I understood it or not and regardless
of whether I believed it or not, my vibration level was raised
from visualizing my number one goal - and doing so with deep
emotion and feeling.

Everywhere you go you will find that most people are vibrating at
a low frequency. The reason why can be found by asking each
person what his major purpose, goal or objective in life is. Or,
to make it even simpler, 'What is your number one goal for this
year.'

If a person does not know the answer to this question, chances are
high that this person ain't vibrating at a high level. Sadly, 97%
of the people you meet cannot answer this question. They have no
objective, no goal, no purpose.

Yet, they do have buried dreams and aspirations ... and if you can get
the person to uncover them and focus on them for a minute or two,
you'll note how rapidly their personal vibration begins to shift. It doesn't
take long. The power of focused concentration is with you at all times.
All you need to do is let that power in by breathing deeply and placing
your mind on a single idea.

Want some guidance in doing this. If so, I have the perfect answer for
YOU. It's called being a member of the Psycho-Cybernetics Success Group.
Each month, by mail, you'll receive a special report/newsletter on applying
the creative power of Psycho-Cybernetics - as well as a CD containing one
of the 50 Most Amazing Meditations ever created. You won't want to miss
these special mailings as they have the power to change your self-image
in a HUGE way. Go to http://www.psycho-cybernetics.com/success_group.html
and sign on NOW.

Best,

Matt Furey

P.S. The video I put up of Dr. Maltz has been a huge hit. A guy who is going thru
a painful divorce wrote to tell me that he watched the video and it totally changed
his thinking and took him out of his negative state. I suggest that you make time to
watch it, too - followed by the exercises in Zero Resistance Living.
There's no charge for watching the video. Simply go to the Psycho-Cybernetics
website and click the square in the upper left corner of the page.
