What Would Happen If ... you took a few minutes each day to
imagine the type of person you want to be.
What would happen if you thought about the most successful
people you know, and you said you would 'mentally pretend'
to be like them for a few minutes each day.
What would happen if you set just one important goal for yourself
and you made sure you focused on it each day.
What would happen if you made a vow to imagine the new YOU
and do whatever it takes until it becomes a reality.
Well, I know what would happen. You'd become a very different
person that you are today - and most important of all, you'd really
like that person.
Yes, focusing on what you want in the Theatre of the Mind - makes a
profound difference in your life.
That's why I suggest you get the tools you need to do the job right -
and they can be found at http://www.psycho-cybernetics.com/zrlcourse.html

P.S. Another great way to move up the ladder of success is by learning
what other successful people do to thrive rather than survive. You can
see the best way to do it by looking into my Fearless Success Coaching
Program at http://www.psycho-cybernetics.com/zrlcourse.html
In China they have a saying, 'Ren lao xian lao tui.'
This means, 'When a person gets old, the legs get
old first.'
When viewing the aging quarterback, boxer or hoops
shooter - we know this is true. For martial artists,
tis one of the reasons why so many after 40 turn
to the so-called 'internal' arts, such as tai chi chuan,
xingyi, bagua and so on. The aging athlete cannot
keep up with the heavy demands of the rigorous
art anymore.
People who regularly fly the friendly skies, especially
those loooonnngg flights, are becoming more and more
concerned with their legs going bad. We call it 'deep vein
thrombosis, aka DVT.
Poor blood circulation in the lower legs can lead to heart
attack and stroke. Not a good thing.
One of the good things about flying on Chinese airlines
is that via the television monitor, the passengers are
prompted to move and exercise. And the exercises they
give are excellent.
Walking is great for the legs. So is jumping. I recommend
you use a good rope for your jumping - those that Bobby
Hinds at LifelineUSA makes are best - http://www.lifelineusa.com
And of course the squatting in Combat Conditioning - that'll get
you in fine, fine shape.
Yet, nothing WAKES the legs up and super-charges them more than
the slapping, knocking and tapping movements we teach in the
Chinese Long Life System - http://www.chineseculturesecrets.com/long_life.html
Why is this.
Quite simply, these slaps and knocks immediately improve blood
circulation. And they increase chi flow along all the meridians in the
body.
The meridians in your body are like the lanes on a freeway. So long
as the traffic is moving, all is well. But ... if at any time the traffic
stalls, tempers flair, blood pressure rises and, in some cases, bullets
fly.
Imagine this same scenario in your own body. If you're tired, fatigued
or feeling less than extraordinarily magnificent, then the chi is not
flowing in your body as it should. Imagine what a profound change
will transpire when all circuits are on, when all the energy in your
body is flowing as it should.
Not only will your legs stay young, powerful, lean and flexible -
but if you travel via plane, you'll laugh when you hear talk about
deep vein thrombosis. The chances of those who practice the Chinese
Long Life System having this problem are slim and none and slim just
left town.
To recap, keep your legs young by walking, jumping and doing Hindu
squats. If you cannot do Hindu Squats, do the Wall Chair - or do the
1/4 squats shown in the Chinese Long-Life System.
Then make sure you learn all the slaps, knocks and so on that invigorate,
rejuvenate and recharge your body like nothing else in the world.
Oh, by the way, Gary, one of the Furey Faithful, wrote yesterday
to say that he recently went on a cruise in which many Chinese were on
board. Being he's a tai chi practitioner, he figured he'd get up early to
practice along with them. To his amazement, no one was practicing tai
chi. Instead .. they were doing these exercises that el Fure-Cat has been
raving about.
Imagine dhat. Once again, this Fure-cat is way ahead of all the other
wannabees on this here Internet. Just when the copykatsz think they've
caught up to me, I leap frog over them in a single bound.
There are a few reasons why this cat can leap-frog the others so quickly.
But the most important is that my legs are still young. Learn how I keep
'em that way by getting the Chinese Long-Life System.

Earlier today a member of my fitness Inner Circle put up the
following on a private discussion board. It's so powerful I've
decided to send to you - followed by my comments:
Subject: Thank you, Matthew
Message: I am writing this because I feel my story needs to be told.
I started using Psycho-Cybernetics late last year. In that time, my
wife decided she wanted a divorce, took my children, and I felt terrible
for a while.
Bad, huh. But that is not where it ends.
Now, I realize that those failures needed to happen to spur me on to greater
things. My marriage was growing increasingly stale as I sought self-improve-
ment and my wife was content in her misery. My servo-mechanism, I believe,
led us to go our separate ways. Now, my finances are getting back on track
and my career is taking off like a rocket.
I have gone to Soldier Boards and was named January's Soldier of the Month
for my unit, 2nd Quarter Soldier of the Quarter for the Battalion, and now I've
been named the Brigade's Soldier of the Quarter and I am in the running for
Soldier of the Year. I would like to credit you and Dr. Maltz for your help in
getting me on the right track. I realize that even though I went through my
ordeals alone, I had plenty of help.
Thank you, Matthew Furey, and may God bless you.
Sincerely,
A.M.
M.F. Thank you, A.M. More important though, congratulations on seeing
reality for what it is. When you're in success mode - you interpret the so-
called negative as leading you toward your goals. It may hurt, it may sting -
but it is all for the best.
I have two people in my Fearless Success Coaching program who have
experenced or gone through very similar circumstances and BOTH will
tell you they are all the better for it. In relationships, it is tough when
one person wants to grow and the other wants to cling.
Grab a hand full of water sometime. Then squeeze your hand tight and see
how much is left. This is an important metaphor to remember about most
anything.

Testimonials on the effectivenes of the Farmer Burns
Stomach Flattener, as seen in my best-selling book,
Combat Abs - http://www.mattfurey.com/combat_abs.html
are poring in.
One man wrote to say he's dropped four inches from his
waist inside of three weeks - and just as I wrote, his digestion
has shown a marked improvement.
In Farmer Burns 1914 by-mail course, 'Lessons in Wrestling
and Physical Culture' - http://www.mattfurey.com/farmerburns.html -
he said the same thing. In fact, Burns also, referring to the subject
of deep breathing, said - 'Deep breathing along has made many a
weak man strong and many a sick man well.'
The whole reason why the Farmer Burns Stomach Flattener works
is because of the deep breathing combined with flexing and tensing
of the abdominal muscles. Simple flex and tense the abdominals
and you don't have much. The whole key lies in the mixture.
The greatest thing about this exercise is that you can do it
virtually anywhere and no one else has to know. It's your little
workout secret.
You can do it at your desk. In a car. On a plane. In the shower.
Even while doing other exercises.
It truly is remarkable.
Be sure to make Five Second Abs part of your everyday routine.
Kick butt - take names!

You'll hear a lot of positive thought writers saying you should
NOT watch television. What is my take on the matter. Read on
and you may discover something interesting.
First, most television is negative. Most of it offers very little value
and detracts from you playing an active role in life. Instead of
being a DOER - you passively watch "other" DOERS.
Second, some t.v. is fantastic. A number of programs for kids -
and adults - place you in a state of wonder and excitement to
learn new things. My daughter, Faith, has learned most of her
English watching this little girl named Dora and her brother
Diego. And the few times I've watched Sponge Bob with my
kids I've been amazed at the number of references to concepts
like the "power of your imagination" - visualization, mental movie
theatres, and so on.
Third, the news is almost always something to avoid watching. Your
goal for today, this week or this month is probably not a worthwhile one
if it is nothing more than getting the latest scoop on Anna Nicole Smith
or Britney Spears.
Fourth, if you're in the entertainment business, the info-
marketing business, the copy writing business - or anything like
that - then you CAN watch the news. But - you watch it not so you have
an excuse to be negative. Not at all. You watch it to turn the negative
into a positive. You watch the so-called "idiot box" for one reason
and one reason only - it gives you fodder for what you need to write or
say.
Because so much of society IS tuned into the the latest about Rosie, Anna,
Britney, Madonna, J. Lo, Janet, Michael Jackson, Tonya Harding and so
on - it's an easy way to come up with something to write or speak
about that will pull the average reader or listener in. And so, in this case,
although you're supposedly doing something passive - you're doing it in
an active way.
The above represents what I consider a balanced view on the subject of
television watching. The key questions to ask yourself about your watching
of t.v. are as follows:
1. Is what you're watching inspiring you to become MORE than you are right
now. If so, you're watching something useful. My son gets mega excited
watching NFL football. It's kindled a desire in him to learn more, be more
and do more. The same goes when he watches Animal Planet or Discovery or
the History channels.
2. Is the time you're spending watching tee-vee leading you closer to or
further away from your goals.
3. How much more could you accomplish in life if you cut back on the time
you spend before the tee-vee.
What are my tee-vee habits? you ask.
Good question:
On MOST days I don't watch a single minute of t.v. Not one. I have never
watched a single minute of The Sopranos - and don't care.
If you begin talking about your favorite shows, chances are I will not have
a clue as to what you are saying.
Last point: Our home has a big screen HDTV with 500 and some channels. The
size of my library, however, makes the large black box seem like a sheet of
paper. If you were to offer me a few thousand bucks for my t.v. - I'd sell it to
you. If you offered me the same sum of money to borrow a few books from
my library, the answer would be "no."
Jim Rohn is noted for saying you'll know the direction someone is heading in
life by the size of his t.v. when compared to the size of his library. I think he's
right.
I also think you'll know the direction someone is going based upon how much
time he spends reading compared to time spent watching t.v.
Something to think about, eh.

Matthew Furey

Last night, before hitting the rack, I went through a simple
bridging routine. I alternated the back bridge and the front
bridge and the gymnastic bridge (see pic).
You may wonder, why do I do these bridging exercises. Here's my 7-part answer:
1. It puts me into a euphoric state - nice to feel that before bed,
don't you think
2. It energizes me - just not the type of energy that interferes with
sleep - more like the kind of energy where you KNOW your brain is
rejuvenated
3. It increases electrical charge and vibration throughout my entire
spine.
4. It makes me aware of energy at a more subtle level - this comes
in handy whether you're a competitive athlete or someone who deals
with people for a living.
5. It increases sexual energy. If you're interested in THAT topic I also
suggest you check out my Chuang Shang de Gong Fu course on the
Art of Chinese Kung Fu Style Love Making - www.chineseculturesecrets.com.
It'll keep your woman up all night long.
6. It helps burn off belly fat as well as the turkey fat on your neck. If you
don't want a bunch of loose skin hanging from your neck as you age, then
be sure to bridge.
7. It increases feeling of being grounded.
Now, the above represents only seven benefits of bridging - there are more.
I've written about many others previously, such as elimination of back pain,
and so on. Yet, the key is DOING the bridge. Anyone can read about
it.
Reminds me of a saying I learned long ago, before people started calling me
Zen Master of the Internet®.
It goes like this: 'The study of Zen is not Zen.'
So many people today think they're DOERS if they 'read.' And reading is really
important. I read everyday. But I do more than read. I get off my buttocks and
do something with what I read. That's the hallmark of the high achiever.
To give the Zen saying a twist, "The study of exercise is not exercise."
Make sure you take time to bridge today. Don't just read about it.
Don't just look at the picture of me doing it. Join me.

One of the fittest 58-year old men you will ever meet, Nigel
Stewart, of Bermuda, recently said the following about the
Chinese Long-Life System:
'if any of you guys out there have not got this program you are really
missing out. ( NO I'm not touting for Matt and I don't think I'll receive
a commission for this e-mail).
I received the DVDs 10 days ago and have held off writing until I have
something to report.
I use it in the early morning when I get up and before I do my Combat
Conditioning workout. I just cannot fathom how something so subtle can
be so effective.
I always workout early mornings and being human there are days when
I would rather not, however after doing the various massages and slapping
movements it is like I have switched on from inside out. Tiredness and the
early mornning feeling just go .
It is difficult to describe but I think Matt puts it best on the DVDs when he says
it will 'ease' your passage through life. It gets everything inside working the
way it should.
Once again Matt a huge thank you for bringing this wonderful art to us. No wonder
the Chinese were experimenting with gunpowder when our ancestors were still
living in caves.
I say the same thing I said when I bought the original Combat Conditioning book...It's Magic.
Best to you all
Nigel Stewart
M.F. Thank YOU Nigel. This is a huge compliment coming from you. Afterall, how many
men at age 58, much less ANY age can do what you do. For those of you in the 'dark' on
this, Nigel regularly gets up and pounds out 500 Hindu Squats, 250 pushups and runs
several miles per day. He is an animal, through and through. No greater testimonial
than his - yet.

Two weeks ago, John, a man in my Psycho-Cybernetics Fearless
Success Coaching group wrote to give me a progress report.
He told me that he was doing much better as a result of the coaching,
but at times felt himself getting discouraged, sinking back into
negative thinking. Because he's in sales, whenever he would lose a
sale he would get down on himself and he didn't see any other choice
as the mistakes he made that cost him money.
In his email, he asked what to do to keep himself from sinking into a
pit of despair every time he loses a sale.
I wrote back with a few words of advice - which I'm happy to say, he
followed. Earlier today he wrote me an updated progress report. A
portion of what he wrote appears below:
Hi Matt,
Quick note to say that things are progressing well. I am doing a very
good job at changing states when I get negative thoughts or images.
The "HOORAH" really does work when I get a negative image in my
head. Business is picking up. I manage my 12 person company using
6 week periods. Period 1 was a disaster. Period 2, which ended Saturday
turned it all around and Period 3 looks to be even better.
I've come up with an idea that I am having the engineers implement
immediately that should sell 3-5 million units over the next few years.
Really good stuff.
I had dinner with a friend last night and all I could talk about was Psycho-
Cyb Coaching and how much I am learning from you, how great the concepts
are, how this is the best class I've ever taken (and I've done all the other guys'
stuff...)...
THIS IS THE THING I AM REALLY PASSIONATE ABOUT ... my vibrations are so
incredibly strong - I've never experienced an energy level like this before.
I had to write right away and tell you. AND THANK YOU SO MUCH. I actually have
tears in my eyes as I write this. The day I met you at the Info Summit last November
is going to change my life. Thank You.
John S.
M.F. Great work John. Next time we meet you are going to be catapulted to a
whole new level of confidence, courage and raw power and you're going to
use it to take your business and your life further up the ladder. And it's going
to be fun watching you climb.
My friend, this is the sort of energy you can be sending me when you're part of
my Fearless Success Coaching Group. We have about 8 spots left as of this
writing, so do take a serious, concerted and courageous look into your bright
future - http://www.psycho-cybernetics.com/fearless_coaching.html

When you reach a certain level of skill or success, you may
come up with the notion of 'holding onto' or maintaining your
position.
My opinion of this is similar to that of General George S. Patton,
who once said in a speech:
"I don't want to get any messages saying, "I am holding my position."
We are not holding a Goddamned thing. Let the Germans do that.
We are advancing constantly and we are not interested in holding
onto anything, except the enemy's balls. We are going to twist his
balls and kick the living shit out of him all of the time. Our basic
plan of operation is to advance and to keep on advancing regardless
of whether we have to go over, under, or through the enemy.
We are going to go through him like crap through a goose; like
shit through a tin horn!"
How's that for graphic?
Keep this message in mind whenever you feel that you've made it.
You may have reached a certain milestone - but success is a journey.
Once you cross the finish line - if you stop moving, you're soon dead.
You need NEW finish lines. New goals. New aspirations. New ways of
being.
Never rest on your laurels. Challenge yourself. Exceed your previous best.
Reinvent yourself - over and over again.
Never fear change. Never fear becoming something better or different.
The only thing to fear is the erroneous notion that you can succeed by
maintaining what you're doing. You succeed by constant forward movement -
not by sticking your feet in quicksand.
You may feel secure when you're trying to maintain your position - but I assure
you that you're losing ground. To stay above ground you must be continually
thinking, planning and moving.
And that, my friend, is the BOTTOM LINE.
Now, a couple quick notes:
1. If you want to really move up the ladder of success and experience the THRILL
of FEARLESS SUCCESS - then be sure to look into
my coaching program at http://psycho-cybernetics.com/fearless_success.html
2. If your body feels like it's ready for the scrap heap, then do something about it

Zen Master of the Internet®
If you look at where you are in life right now, you'll note
that you didn't get here without help. Whether you think
you're moving upward or sliding downhill - you've got
someone helping you out.
In Hollywood, we only need observe obvious cases in
the media, like Britney Spears, to make a case for the
negative or the positive. I just went through a magazine
where Britney Spears was on the cover - depicting
whether she is suicidal or not.
Unlike so many, I take no delight in reading about the
rough time she's having. It's obvious she's being influenced
by people who don't have her best intentions at heart.
Ultimately she is responsible for what she does or doesn't
do - but there's no denying others played a role in her
rise and her fall - and if she is to rise again, others will be
involved in helping her.
All of the above leads to an important point about how
we succeed or how we fail. We don't do it alone - or in a
vaccuum. We absolutely do need others involved in the
process of shaping us into successful people.
If you'll recall the Rocky movie with Mr. T. - who played
the role of Clubber Lang - he had a line that was
unforgettable. "I live alone, I train alone and I'm going
to win the title alone."
Unwiser words were never spoken.
To rise up you must get advised up.
No champion fighter enters the ring alone, trains alone or
wins the title alone. No presidential candidate would dare
run without advisors and a TEAM.
And no truly successful people ever stop listening or learning
from others. Ultimately, after hearing advice - YOU have to
make the decision and accept the consequences. You'll have
to agree or disagree with what you hear - but to completely
tune out advice is a mistake.
In 1988, while listening to a series of Brian Tracy audios - he
said that you could read posiitve books, attend seminars, listen
to videos and audios - but if you do just ONE thing wrong, this
alone will derail all your efforts for the positive.
And this one thing was ... "associating with negative people."
What this means requires you to take a serious look at who
you are spending time with. I have a very simple rule I live
by. It goes like this ...
"If you're interested in MORE Success - then we can spend time
together. If you're interested in blaming others, staying stuck,
whining, complaining and so on, then we will not hang out
together."
Simple as that.
Now, why do you think I have this rule. I have it because I
have witnessed what happens to me when I am around
successful people. I get charged up. I get excited. And I
succeed even more than before. But if I hang out with
people who act and think like losers - then I start going
downhill.
Keep this in mind today. Make a list of all your friends and
associates. Then ask yourself a simple question: Am I
getting positive, success-oriented, abundance-driven
energy from this person, or am I bombarded with negative,
poor-me, life is woe energy.
If the person ranks on the positive, then keep associating with
him or her; if not, then ask for guidance in finding someone
else who is better for you.
Now, in the rare event that your current associate wants to grow
with you - then by all means continue the relationship. If not, then
look at opening the door to a life of abundance, a life where you
have a LOT of everything. A Lot of opportunity; a lot of contacts
and friends; a lot of capital - and so on.
Live life straight-up, with gusto and enthusiasm and you'll be delighted
at how life's rewards begin showing up with great regularity.

coaching program. We still have a few spots left, so if this
opportunity looks and feels like YOU - then jump on it.

In January I started coaching people in the truly secret
powers of Psycho-Cybernetics - and the first session was
so powerful people have not come down from it yet. It
truly was a life-changer.
Normally, those who attend seminars or coaching programs
come home from it high as a kite - but then, over the course
of two or three days, all the positive gradually slips away.
Not with this program. The positive vibe sticks - like glue -
and continues to accumulate more just like the way a
magnet draws bits of iron.
At present I am expanding this coaching program by allowing
18 more people to come aboard.
If what you're reading here sounds like something you might
be interested in, then I suggest you high-tail it to the following

P.S. There's a reason why the good get great. And that reason has
more to do with their minds than anything else. It's not talent, or
smarts, or who you know. It's who you are inside your own brain.
Successful people get this and want more of it. Those on the road to
failure don't get it - and that is why they continue to fail. Make a choice
which road you want to travel on. Make a choice to launch yourself like
a torpedo to the destination of YOUR choosing. Check out the Psycho-
Cybernetics Fearless Success Coaching Program now by going to

This past January, at my annual health and fitness
seminar, a man from California, in his mid-40's,
cornered me in the lobby and began raving about
the Chinese seks course I put out.
It's called Chuang Shang de Gong Fu - which stands
for Kung Fu on the bed. But not punch, kick, slap,
elbows and knees kung fu.
No.
Tis simply the Chinese way to saying, 'study of' or
'practice of.' That's the basic way to know what kung
fu or gong fu means.
You can have good painting gong fu, cooking gong fu,
and so on.
Anyway, the man says to me, 'You know, that deep
breathing and flexing technique you and Master Zhang
teach in the course?'
'Yes, I know,' I said.
'Well, let me tell you - about a wife after doing it everyday,
my seks life changed. I was in the pits and that technique
alone turned me around.'
'How so?' I asked.
'Well, for example, here I am at this seminar, working out
with you and the others, and I didn't get to bed until 3 a.m.
last night - and it wasn't because I had insomnia, if you know
what I mean.'
I chuckled.
'My wife loves you for what you've done to revive me. I'm like
a 17-year old again.'
'Tis a good age, huh?' I said.
And with that his wife entered the lobby. She was all smiles. The
man told me, in front of his wife, how good they felt practicing their
bedroom kung fu - and she smiled from ear to ear. Not a hint of
embarrassment, either.
Very cool.
Want to get in on this technique and amplify your love-making skills
to the moon - then go to http://www.chineseculturesecrets.com target="_blank" -
Follow what we teach in this course and you'll have your wife or
lady friend begging for more - all night long.

Many years ago, when I still lived in Californi-yay, Steve
and Lori, friends of mine from high school, came for a visit.
We spent five days together, visiting over gourmet meals,
touring San Francisco, going to movies, and so on.
One afternoon, whilst driving through the mountains, Steve
said something to me that I'd never thought of: 'You're a
change master," he said. "You come up with an idea, a new
way of thinking, and you instantly shift gears and leave the
past behind."
Yesterday I was reminded of this conversation when I spoke
to Bill, a bishop, who is also a friend and client.
After our 15 minute conversation approached the 2-hour mark,
I mentioned that I had a CD to record for the Matt Furey Inner Circle -
http://www.mattfureyinnercircle.com - as well as another for the
Psycho-Cybernetics Success Group - which you can read about at
http://www.psycho-cybernetics.com/success_group.html
'Okay, Matthew," he said, followed by, "Uh, I didn't mean to call
you Matthew."
"You can call me Matthew, if you'd like," I said. When I said this I
was a bit shocked to hear what was coming out of my mouth because
I've never liked being called the seven-letter word.
"No, I can't," he said. "It's not right - but for some reason, when
I speak to you, Matthew keeps coming up for me instead of Matt."
"Well ... maybe there's a message in a bottle, so to speak, for me in
this," I said. "Maybe it's time for a change. Matt Furey is a fighter's
name; a wrestler's name; the name of a guy who kicks butt and
takes names. But maybe it's time to leave that behind and become
something more."
After I hung up the phone with Bishop Bill, I pulled into a parking lot
and made a quick call to Tania, a master of Pythagorean Numerology.
"Tania, could you check something for me," I said. "I'm thinking about
making a name change."
"Oh yeah," she giggled.
"Yeah."
"And what change is that."
"Well, my whole life I have gone by Matt Furey. My given name is Matthew,
but I always hated that name. Absolutely hated it. And if anyone ever called
me Matthew, I would get angry as hell. I'd want to kick ass. And this started
when I was seven or eight years old. People learned early on, NOT to call
me Matthew. Later on, when I wrestled in college - and afterward, when I
went into business as a personal trainer for high school wrestlers - people
often questioned my name. Many asked if I made the name up - if it was
a stage name, and so on. And now, after all these years of NOT wanting to
be called Matthew - I'm considering the change. In fact, I'm going to make
the change. I just want to know what the old Greek guy would have to say
about the extra letters."
Tania quickly did a few computations, then exclaimed, "Matt - Matthew is
a great change for you."
She proceeded to give me all the reasons to support this change - and then
she asked, "How soon are you going to put the change into effect."
"I might wait until my next birthday, in May. But if I were a betting man, I'd
bet that it'll happen before that. It might be later today."
When I got home last night, after the two CD's were recorded, I sat pondering
whether or not to go through with the change. I asked for guidance on the
matter. "I have all these websites with "Matt Furey" - all these products with
"Matt Furey" - what do do.
The answer slammed into my mind: "Leave the past alone. Leave all those
old books and courses and websites the way they are. Then REINVENT
yourself with "Matthew Furey."
I nodded in agreement.
And so it IS.
From NOW onward, I will sign all emails with the name I was given by my
mother and father at birth. All future books, courses, newsletters, seminars
and coaching will be conducted by me - albeit with the name I was given
over four decades ago. My email addresses and website names will
remain the same.
"Matthew was a healer," Bishop Bill said to me yesterday. "And remember
what I told you at your seminar last year. I shook your hand when it was
all over and our eyes met for a few seconds - then I said, 'Your seminars
are about transcendence.' Then I walked away."
"Very true," I said.
The truth is, all my courses, seminars and coaching are about transcendence.
They're about rising UP when others want to tear you down. They're about
becoming MORE when it's so much easier to think less of yourself. They're
about overcoming obstacles, setbacks, problems, mistakes, failures, blunders
and boo-boos. They're about bringing YOU out from behind the bushes; helping
your stand up and be counted.
For more than 40 years I have identified with the name Matt Furey. Not anymore.
I'm glad I used the shortened version for so long; it served me well. But now it's time
to move beyond the old and embrace the new.
Perhaps you will find motivation from this; perhaps not.
Yours,
Matthew Furey
P.S. Want to learn more about Reinventing Yourself - then be sure to check out
Steve Chandler's book on the same subject - www.stevechandler.com - as well
as The Story of You - and How to Create a New One - wherein he wrote a few
pages about moi - er, someone named Matt.
Because we're surrounded with the stories of
top amateur professional athletes - and how they
train for hours per day, when some people here that they
can get fit in 15 minutes per day, they tend to have
doubts.
Tis only natural, especially when you've spent several
years on the couch or plopped on el gluteus maximus
before the computer.
Well, I got news for y'all. When you first begin doing
Combat Conditioning, for 'most' people - 15 minutes is
about 10 minutes too long.
How can I say such a thing.
Because of these facts:
Most people cannot do 25 Hindu Pushups in one full set -
and even doing one set of this exercise is enough for
a beginner.
Most people cannot do more than 40 Hindu Squats the
first time they try. This set will take about 1-1.5 minutes,
max, depending on your balance.
Then there's the bridge. Most first timers cannot hold for
30 seconds.
So altogether, we're looking at about 4-5 minutes of
training - and the beginner is wiped out - in a good way.
The better news is that the 4 or 5 minutes improves
rather quickly and becomes 10-15 minutes. If you
choose to go beyond 15 minutes - to let's say, 30 minutes,
that's fine. But unless your workout time involves a lot
of deep breathing, stretching and pauses between sets,
you don't need more than 30 minutes.
You really, really can get into great, great shape with
these exercises, and yes - 15 minutes will do wonders.
In fact, 5 minutes will do wonders for the person who
is just getting started. Even a minute will do wonders
if you're that far gone.
Time to return to the real YOU - my friend. Get on the
stick today - or sit back and let LIFE give you the stick.
That's right. You either take control and rid yourself of
the beast inside your body - or the beast will continue
to pound on your in a big way. Your body wears out
from LACK of use. Remember that. And LACK of use
causes your body pain.
So get in there and go.
Kick butt - take names,
Matt Furey
P.S. There are 48 different exercises in Combat Conditioning
as well as seven great training programs to follow. Although
I have only mentioned the Royal Court in this email (Hindu
pushups, Hindu Squats and bridging), you can literally build
a kick-butt workout around virtually any three exercises in the
course. Go to http://www.mattfurey.com/conditioning_book.html
and get started now.
P.P.S. Btw, if you really want to kick some major booty this year,

more to do with their minds than anything else. It's not talent, or
smarts, or who you know. It's who you are inside your own brain.
Successful people get this and want more of it. Those on the road to
failure don't get it - and that is why they continue to fail. Make a choice

If you're not making mistakes,
then you're not doing anything.
--John Wooden (1910 - )
Hall of Fame basketball coach for UCLA
won a record 10 NCAA championships
So many people do everything they can to avoid making
mistakes - yet mistakes are the corrective feedback we
need to help us reach our goals. Trying to avoid mistakes
is a HUGE mistake. Better to move and correct mistakes
as you're in motiion than sit idle trying to figure out how not to
make a wrong move. The latter never seems to work.
When you're in an airplane, most of the time the plane is
off course. When you're driving in a car - you must always
have your hands on the wheel so you can make minor
adjustments. You are continually modifying and correcting
your course based upon ongoing feedback.
We tend to forget this when we get an idea to achieve
a specific goal. We tend to think the key to success is never
making a mistake. It's not.
When you make a mistake and a teacher points it out to
you - the answer is simple: Thank you for telling me that.
I'll work on that.
The average person says he's sorry and apologizes when
a mistake is pointed out to him.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry."
That's all you ever hear - along with no change in behavior.
Better to hear "thank you - I'll get right on that" - and witness
a change in behavior.
People who see feedback as helpful are grateful to learn what
is steering them away from the goal. It may be a tough thing
to do - to listen and be open - but it's what the best of the best
do.
Yes, you have the option to agree or disagree with the feedback -
and you'll become better at discerning what is helpful and what
isn't the more you practice - but you'll never get anywhere if
you view mistakes as negative and feedback as undesireable.
My best students LOVE being advised - even, as they would say
it, "raked over the coals." And wouldn't you know it - three of my
students have played Carnegie Hall. Amazingly, all three of these
Carnegie Hall performers are the BEST listeners and take advice
better than anyone else. They beg for me to show them their
mistakes.
Keep all of this in mind as you go through your day today. Mistakes
are nothing to fear. Nor is the feedback that will help you improve.
Best,
Matt Furey

Last fall, for the first time in recorded history, I began
a coaching and mentorship program based on the success
principles and methods of Psycho-Cybernetics.
Without a bit of advertising, the program filled almost to
capacity. Doctors numbered in the double digits; lawyers
and accountants gravitated toward it as well - so did
athletes and coaches and entrepreneurs who recognize
the GLUE that helps hold all the pieces of the success
puzzle together, is, in fact, the MOST important ingredient
of all.

You wouldn't think that someone would have to
tell you this. You'd think it's one of those 'common
sense' bits of wisdom.
Well, as the saying goes, 'Common sense is anything
but common.'
What I'm talking about is connecting your mind to your
muscles. I'm talking about 'getting inside' your muscles
as you train.
For example, take a look at someone you see walking
along the road. Or running if that suits you better.
In almost all instances, if you really look, you'll see a
person exercising with a mind/body disconnect. They're
moving their body alright - but they're not really in their
body - at least not in any sort of enlivening or empowering
way.
The same is true of your average work zombie. There's a
reason for the saying that 'Most people stop looking for work
as soon as they find a job.'
When you have a mind/body disconnect - your sense of
power is severely restricted. You're going through the motions
but you're not really involved. And when your mind is not
engaged in your activity - you won't get the sort of results
you'd like.
This is why, when you stretch, you learn to flex your muscle -
then you learn to tell it to relax. You get inside the muscle and
tell it what to do. You are the commander of your ship. So make
sure you're at the helm when the vessel is out to sea.
When you do your Hindu Pushups, get inside the muscles. Tell
them to stretch, tell them to get stronger, tell them to take the
shape you want them to have. See the way you want to look as
you train - and tell yourself - even FEEL yourself already becoming
that type of person.
Do this and I can assure you that your results will sky rocket.
Plenty of the Furey Faithful can vouch for this. They don't just
workout - the get inside the cells of their body when they train.
I'd love to see you join them. Right now we have the March edition of the
newsletter and CD - which contains some criticially important insight on
joint pain and what you can do about it. It also has yet another Furey Fat
Loss Program update - on CD - and what is covered is mind blowing as
well as fat torching stuff.
If you're one of the next 96 people to order, you will be assured of

P.S. Want to defy the aging process. Good idea, me thinks. So do those
who've gotten the Chinesel Long-Life System - take a gander by going to
http://www.chineseculturesecrets.com/long_life.html
It's 3 a.m. and I'm pulling an all-nighter. Typically I get
6-9 hours of sleep - but tonight I have a number of projects
to finish - so I'll be cranking for a couple more hours, then
I'm off to el aeroporto for a short trip to Hurricane Katrina
land.
If you've never pulled an all-nighter before, there are some
tricks to it. You don't have to feel drained in the least. In
fact, you can feel totally energized the whole time - but only
if you'll remove the idea from your noggin that you're going
to feel terrible if you don't sleep.
If you entertain such a thought - well then, you will be tired
and you will feel terrible. On the other hand, if you refuse to
allow any "I'm tired" thoughts room in your brain - you've
taken the first step to working all night and feeling good
about it.
The second step is replacing sleep time with 10-15 minute
power visualizations. Any time you start feeling even remotely
sleepy, you sit in a quiet place, close your eyes and begin to
make contact with your BIG SELF.
It's been said that a good 20 minute meditation can be the
equivalent of 8 hours of sleep. I've found this to be true -
even so I do admit to liking a good 8 hours of sleep MOST
of the time.
Well, I must get back to work - but I did want to send this
quick note to let you know I'm thinking about you and am
truly interested in seeing you succeed in a big way.
To help steer you in the right direction for success, I'm
recommending the most powerful life-changing tools I've
ever seen for getting more living out of life. You can read
all about them by going to

Just finished recording the March CD - Fure-cat's Ftness
Motivation - that goes out to members of the Matt Furey
Inner Circle - for no charge.
This month's CD covers a number of fat loss secrets that
I have never shared before.
The first secret has to do with WHAT you do just before eating
each meal. It only takes 30 seconds, but if you take the time to
do this a mere 30 seconds before you eat - I guarantee you'll
stop eating when you're supposed to instead of stuffing your
gourd until you can barely move.
Another secret I cover is how you talk to yourself prior to
going on a trip. Many people literally program their brains
to do what they say they don't want - and they do this
right before they eat - or before going on a trip or cruise.
What you think about expands - including your waistline -
so you've got to arm yourself with the right words and mental
pictures - and I give them to you on the CD.
A third secret I cover has to do with a special fruit that we tend
to eat in the summers - but we usually eat it the wrong way - i.e.
with other foods - and when we do this we lose the power of this
magical food. When eaten on it's own, weight loss is rapid. Not
only that, but for men in particular, when you eat this food there
is a very good chance that you'll become a seksual dynamo. It
strengthens the kidneys, shrinks the prostate and improves skin
tone and digestion in a big way.
A fourth secret uncovered goes way beyond mere weight loss.
YES, it can result in weight loss - and fast - but the really big reason
to learn about this food has to do with it's posiitve effect on the
single biggest health problem most people are having - INFLAMATION.
This food supplement reduces inflamation in the body in a big way - and
fast. It also helps eliminate joint pain, increase flexibility, improve digestion
in a HUGE way, push excess cholesterol out of the body - and much more.
Woo - that's four secrets - one more than I promised.
Well, to tell you the truth, I cover a whole lot more than 3 or 4 secrets in
this update. I cover several more - including how to combine exercise with
mind power to get quantum results.
To get your copy of this CD - make sure you enroll in the Matt Furey Inner
Circle today. We will have enough supply to mail to another 179 new members -
but you'll have to move quickly to make sure you're one of them.

options to enroll. One is as a monthly test-drive member - the other is as an

As an annual member you receive 7 gifts from me up front - including 3 of my

Ever notice that people who run all the time age
FASTER than those who don't.
If you look at many marathon runners in their
mid-30's, you'll already see the 'prune' look beginning
to etch itself onto their faces. Why is this?
There are a couple reasons:
1. Many distance athletes believe, erroneously, that because
they workout, they don't need to take any sort of supplement
that safeguards them against free radical damage. Show an
endurance athlete a supplement loaded with antioxidants proven
to reduce the risk of illness, including cancer and heart disease,
and don't be surprised if you hear, 'I don't need that stuff. I work
out.'
Uh - duh. When you workout, your body cranks out MORE free
radicals, not less.
Yes, you need to exercise to get the results you want - but to sweat
and NOT supplement is a mistake. When you take super potent
antioxidants like Pharmaceutical Grade Fish Oil - you can get some
at http://www.drdavesbest.com - as well as berries like elderberry,
chokeberry, black currant and bilberry - you are insuring yourself
against disease.
In China, the longest lived people eat abundantly from fruits,
vegetables, meats, herbs - and green tea. Green tea is a mega
potent antioxidant as well.
2. The other reason for the 'prune' look - not to mention the
ready-for-the-scrap-heap feeling inside the bodies of many
distance runners is because, as the Chinese Taoists have taught,
the exerciser is 'cooking' his internal organs from over-exertion.
Cooking your organs?
Yes.
It's a scientific fact that some people are 'warmer' than others.
Their hands and feet are warmer. They sweat easier. They need
fewer clothes, and so on.
The above is not a bad thing.
However, when you over-exercise and have no method of cooling
your body off, you do internal damage and it shows on your face.
High stress in the home and workplace also contribute to over-
heating, too - so don't think you're off the hook if you don't work
out.
Key thing is you need to have a way to cool off internally. Supplementing
with antioxidants helps - but the way you exercise helps a lot, too. If you
exercise in such a way that your body doesn't overheat - a way in which
you're opening all the meredians in your body, a way in which you're
increasing the flow of chi within rather than obstructing it - well, then, you
will know what it's like to be 80, 90 and up and still be able to move with
ease. You'll know what it's like to still be mentally alert, filled with vim,
vigor and enthusiasm.
This is what you are taught in the Chinese Long-Life System, available at
http://www.chineseculturesecrets.com/long_life.html
The other day I was at the beach - training a couple friends. After one round
of a specific exercise that looked like 'nothing much' - the guy turned to me
and said, 'WOW. I can feel the energy moving from my shoulders to my
hands. I can feel something clicking internally.'
Indeed. That's the difference.
For great health you don't just focus on the muscles. The muscles matter not
if even ONE organ in your body runs amuck. See how strong your legs
are when a kidney fails. Or how powerful your chest if your heart has
an attack. Or how far you can throw a football if your spleen is ruptured.
The Chinese approach to a long-life involves working from the inside out.
That's why it is uniquel powerful. That's why it works.

Matt Furey
A few months ago I spent time with a medical doctor
whom many people think really knows his stuff when it
comes to nutrition.
Truth is, he probably knows too much. I say this
because he doesn't have a lick of fat on his body -
yet, he doesn't have any strength or power, either.
Being lean is a goal for many people. But in and of
itself, being lean is undesireable.
Here's why: A lot of very lean people think they're
healthier than others because they don't have much
body fat; yet these same weenies have very little
LIFE FORCE. They have almost zero power.
Much of this can be gauged from a simple handshake.
When a weenie shakes your hand pay attention to
what you feel. No, I am not checking to see if he can
or cannot crush your hand. That only tells you how strong
his hands are. What I'm checking for is the level of vibrancy or
electricity in the person's hand.
Case in point is the health care guy I mentioned. When I
shook his hand he gave a fairly firm handshake. But there
was no electricity. In fact, his hands sent out a numb, chilly,
lifeless energy. That's saying a lot when it's 100 degrees out,
don't you think.
At another time the guy put his hand on my shoulder to
make a point about nutrition. Once again, the hand was
darn near lifeless. Might as well have put a skeleton's hand
on me. It wouldn't feel much different.
So you might wonder, why is this. How can someone who
eats nothing but the perfect diet and does a ton of cardio,
running, cycling, etc. - be so devoid of vibrancy.
There are many reasons but the soundest one of all is as
follows: The guy doesn't do deep breathing exercises. When
you breathe deeply and fully and do so from various stances
and positions, you quickly change the vibration level of your
mind and body.
Yesterday I had a group of men in for some coaching. I taught
them some deep breathing exercises and we did them together
for a few minutes. Afterward they felt energy running up and down
their spines, tingling sensations in their hands and heat coming from
the bottoms of their feet.
Two hours after we did the exercise they were still feeling the effects.
These men were learning the meaning of the Farmer Burns saying, 'Deep
breathing alone has made many a sick man well and many a weak man
strong.'
He was right.
You cannot ONLY eat your way to vibrant health. That's like putting fuel in
a tank and never starting the engine. Exercise is king - but it's got to be
the right kind of exercise.
I have nothing against long-distance running. If that is a person's goal
I am all for him. But I will point out the truth, it reduces overall lung
capacity and power.
You're far better off doing hill sprints and the other dynamic exercises
in Combat Conditioning - http://www.mattfurey.com/conditioning_book.html -
as well as the vaccuum and Farmer Burns Stomach Flattener - as taught in
Combat Abs - http://www.mattfurey.com/combat_abs.html
When you do Hindu Squats, Hindu Pushups and bridging, and the other exercises
I teach, your focus in on the breath.
The breath leads everything. Sure, you focus on proper form, getting
a good stretch, working the muscles, and so on ... but the primary focus in on
breathing. Your breath is your power and your connection to the winds of the
Universe.
Feel the wind entering your lungs then moving throughout your entire body.
That's the key to building life force. That's the key to vibrancy.
All for now.

In China, many people retire at age 50. Yet, unlike those
who retire in the U.S. - most Chinese people don't sit around bored
to death. Many older Chinese are actively engaged in doing something to
improve their lives.
One of those activities is daily exercise. In fact, in many ways the younger
people get their exercise from walking and bicycling to and from work. Once
retired, howevewr, the REAL training begins.
Yes, many people in China begin studying tai chi, chi kung and other methods of
exercise, like the Chinese Long-Life System, well into their 50's. They don't sit
around and say, 'I'm too old. I can't do that anymore. I started too late in life.'
No - they start long after most people in our culture have given up.
This proves that your age is NOT the issue. The issue is your willingness to get off
your arse and DO SOMETHING.
One of the reasons why so many people in China are doing the long-life exercises
is because they're so easy to learn and do. But the main reason is because the
exercises open the meridians of the body and create greater chi flow.
This is most important. As I've said before you - no matter how strong your external
muscles - your internal organs are MOST important. Even a minor problem with your
liver, stomach, heart, lungs, kidneys and so on will do much more than get your
attention. This is why it's important to have a system of exercise that opens you from
the inside-out.
Working hard for the appearance of health is fine - maybe even dandy - but nothing beats
the overall feeling of health that comes from within when you do the exercises that
simultaneously recharge, rejuvenate and revitalize your internal circuitry.
Yesterday morning I left early to return home. Because I was in a hurry I skipped the
Chinese Long-Life exercises - and let me tell you, I felt that crud all day. Until I got home,
that is. Once inside the walls of my abode I went through the routine and I instantly felt
like a billion bucks. Woke up feeling great, too - but, not wanting to repeat the mistake of
yesterday, I trained first thing. Right now I'm feeling AWESOME and I'm saying to myself,
'Next time you have to leave early, get up earlier and train.'
When your body is used to training and you don't train, you instantly recognize how awful
you feel.
Funny thing is that those who don't train feel like crud all the time - and they think that crud
is their natural state. Pretty sad, huh.
Health and well-being, high energy and a calm, peaceful demeanor is your natural state.
And the fact of the matter is that you can experience all these good feelings as being
natural when you follow the Chinese Long-Life System.
Get the program and discover this truth.
It's a simple program. It's so easy to follow. Yet it proves that the best things in life aren't difficult.

A few years ago I spoke to a young man who said he
wanted to have a business of his own.
But he had a problem.
'I just don't have any confidence,' he said.
'Do you have an imagination,' I asked.
'Yes, of course.'
'Good. And do you have a memory.'
'Yes, of course I have a memory.'
'Okay, can you remember something you did in the past
in which you had a lot of confidence.'
'Well, yes, I do. But it was a long, long time ago.'
'That doesn't matter,' I said. 'What was it.'
'Well, when I was in 2nd grade I was really good at math.
I was top in the class.'
'Great. Let's start there,' I said.
I then took this man back in time and had him relive his
confident days in 2nd grade math.
He immediately began to feel better about himself - and all
he was doing was reliving a memory.
Next, I took him into the Theatre of The Mind - in his own mind,
and had him imagine bringing that same 2nd grade confidence
into the present, and putting it into his idea to have a business.
He followed my advice and was shocked to discover that doing
so changed how he felt about being in business. Suddenly, instead
of fear and frustration he felt courage and confidence.
I told him that if he repeated this exercise everyday, that his
confidence would soar and that he would begin naturally doing
the things that successful business people do.
One of the amazing things that this man unraveled when doing the Theatre
of the Mind, was how he had numerous success experiences that he had
forgotten.
At first he could only think of being good in math while in
2nd grade. So we started there.
But after a couple weeks in the Theatre, he realized that he was also
a good writer, and a fairly articulate speaker. In junior high he was a
good baseball player. And in high school he recalled the feeling of
hitting a homerun in a pivotal game.
So he started to recall the confidence of those moments, too.
He got the true message of 'living' Psycho-Cybernetics.
A couple years later, this man not only had his own business,
but it was thriving.
He showed that there is great power in your Imagination. As
well as your memory of past experiences.
Wouldn't you like to know how to do what this man did. Isn't there some
area of your life where you experience frustration - even failure; where
you lack confidence.
Well, you CAN change all that. You can start feeling more confident
To-Day. Right NOW.
In Zero Resistance Living you'll discover how to rocket launch yourself
away from frustration and failure. You'll discover your BIG SELF, the YOU
that knows how to put you on the course to success. I suggest taking a peak
into the program by going to http://www.psycho-cybernetics.com/zrlcourse.html

I wish I was kidding, but I'm not. Yesterday I got an
email from a dope smoker asking about whether or not
he can do the Chinese Long-Life System.
Here's what he wrote:
'Hi Matt,
I'm one of the Furey Faithful. Thing is that I have an
awful pot smoking habit. I get high several times a day.
I'm wondering if your Chinese Long-Life Program can
help me. But don't tell me I have to quit smoking pot.
I need it to get through the day. Takes the edge off if
you know what I mean. Please advise.'
Cann E. Bus
M.F. Listen up Cann. You're not one of the Furey Faithful.
You may think you are - but if you're toking on the so-called
sacred cabbage each and every day, you're seriously deluded.
You've got problems pal, and you're not dealing with them
by passing the peace/love/dope pipe. Get off it. Be a REAL
man and quit. And don't write me again until you have.
Now go kick some real butt without the crutch.
What I'm saying is true, you don't follow the Chinese Long-Life
System while high on dope or while inebriated in any way.
Same goes with meditation and internal work because smoking
dope reverses the the chi flow in your meredians. Meditating
while "high" will not set you straight - it'll screw you up more.
When you do the Chinese Long-Life program you are working on
fine tuning your body's inner circuitry. Cannot do that if you're a
dope head or a drunk.

P.S. One reader of my daily tips wrote to tell me the following about my
"Slap Your Face" message:
Matt, this is one of your best daily emails yet. Sorry to clutter your mailbox
with the ennui of another opinion, but I wanted to respond with a genuine
compliment that you can appreciate.
After ordering the Chinese Lifelong System about 6 months ago, I've been
slapping myself silly every day. The knots in my back are gone. My slightly
high blood pressure is down. My attitude and energy have changed.
No more words needed. This system works in so many ways.
I don't know if you will make time to read this email or not, but I just wanted
to tell you in short words, you're stuff is great. I know you have a great day
everyday (me too), but I hope the energy that I am Psycho-Cybernetically
sending you will help you have an even better day. I see you having a good
day on my movie screen. I can say clearly "I get it", no more excuses in
my life - thanks to you MF. My best to you and your family.

The other day a reader of this daily e-letter wrote to tell
me I should be ashamed of myself for my insensitive nature.
What was she barking about.
Well, that headline I wrote a few days back, 'They Must Be Smoking
Crack,' really struck a chord with her. Turns out a close family member,
i.e., a parent, was a crack addict.
Somehow or other I was supposed to be concerned about this
before hitting the send button. Somehow or other I was supposed
to refrain from using any sort of language whatsoever that might
offend this one person.
This cry baby attitude is a big part of what is wrong with 'merica
today. We are a country littered with far too many cry babies, momma's
boys and sissies.
Now you know why it is an absolute pleasure to deal with the Furey Faithful -
those wise men and women - as well as youngins, who are forward thinking,
always on the cutting edge, ready to DO instead of beg; those people who
get up each morning with a good attitude - and if by chance they don't have
one when they arise, they exercise, breathe deeply, stretch, walk, or simply
focus on their goals ... anything but sit around figuring out who should be
ashamed or who needs his face slapped.
Truth is, you and I would be wise to slap our own faces each and every day,
not only for a reality check, but to wake up, energize, expand our brain activity,
and so on.
I've got this self-flaggelation thing down pat. I learned it from my wife.
One morning I noted how she sat before her mirror, doing makeup and so on -
but before she applied whatever it is she puts on (yes I'm totally ignorant about
this and unashamedly so), I noticed that she slaps her face and massages it good.
I figured at first that this was a 'woman' thing and that men didn't do anything of
the sort. At least not REAL men like me.
Well, imagine my surprise when Master Zhang taught me all these pressure point
massage techniques for my head and face. I tried them out as per his suggestion,
and I've never looked back.
Here's why: Suppose for a moment that I have an I.Q. of 140 - which would be a
bit higher than el presidente as well as the guy who tried to oust him from office.
Well, even so, that 140 can get awfully run down and tired at times and feel like
a double-digit number like, er, 40.
But after I whack my face, tweak my ears, work all the pressure points for the eyes,
sinus, ears and so on .... and do them in order of importance as shown in the Chinese
Long-Life System ... my brain wave activity increases dramatically and I start thinking
like a true genius instead of a pretend genius.
I don't know if this face patting is a preventative for Alzheimers or not ... but I'm thinking
it might be. Afterall, we tend to ignore our face and head when it comes to health care.
One thing is certain, however, and that is the increased brain waves percolating in my
noggin.
Who knows, I keep this routine up I may take another I.Q. test someday. Problem is
they don't put any wrestling holds on them-there tests. Dooooiiii. So I be doomed be.
Moral of today's message: Be yourself. Forget about pleasing everyone all the time.
That's a retarded way to live. And that sort of stress reduces the joy of living and will
probably shorten your life because the stress of making everyone happy will kill you.
Make yourself happy first. Only then do you have something else to give.
The Chinese Long-Life System reaches into your soul and gives you the sort of
deep down happiness, peace of mind and health that you want. Be sure to get the
program will the getting is good. Right now we have somewhere around 50 sets left
at the introductory amount, then the package will go up considerably.
So slap your face, wake yourself up and get thee bunns over to the Chinese Long-Life
System - http://www.chineseculturesecrets.com/long_life.html

P.S. Slapping your butt is a good health practice, too. I'll cover that in a future email.
Stay tuned.
I recommend
you use a good rope your your jumping - those that Bobby
We have approximately 70 more programs that we're going to let go
at the current amount. So JUMP in while the jumping is good. Go to

Best,
Matt Furey
If you look at how much time you spend doing
what you do - and if you keep a log - you might
be surprised at what you discover.
First, you might discover that although you say you
don't have any time, you found time for tee-vee,
gossip, fault-finding, idle-chatter and so on.
Second, if you add the amount of time spent doing
things unrelated to furthering your success, and you
multiply it by 7 - then again by 52 - you'll come up
with an astonishing figure.
For example, if you spend two hours a day going on
discussion boards on the Internet to put up posts for
all to read - this same amount of time could have
been invested in writing a book.
Or, let's say you watch tee-vee for two hours per
day. That's 14 hours a week or 728 hours per
year. Said even better, those two hours end up
being 30.33 days. Not 8-hour days either. 24-hour
days.
One of the things I work on doing each day is sending
something positive and encouraging for others to read.
I do this two ways. The first is direct communication with
people I coach or those whom I know. Another way is via
my email lists.
Sending words of praise and encouragement to others comes
back multiplied. The more good energy you give to others, the
more you receive in return - even if no one says a word of praise
back to you.
One of the great things about taking time to praise others, as well
as yourself, is that it increases everyone's energy - giving you
more oomph to put into your day. On the other hand, criticism
usually has the opposite effect - and because much of the time it is
completely ignored - the person criticizing wasted his time.
Over the past couple days a great many readers of this email sent
words of praise for the message sent on Tuesday, entitled, "How
Nothing Can Stop You."
Then yesterday, a lady who says she's writing a book about how
Psycho-Cybernetics has changed her life, sent me an email telling
me how much she hates my emails, how they're all about me, me, me
and offer nothing of value to anyone.
Very funny.
One of the key principles of Psycho-Cybernetics is that you stop
criticizing yourself and others. It's a tough rule to live by. I fail at
it more than I care to admit. Yet when I do I realize how much time
I just wasted - and how the criticism will almost always have zero
positive effect on the future.
This is why I implemented my "No Whining" rule some time ago.
When you don't whine, you're in a state of gratitude.
Naturally there are times when you need to speak up and be heard;
when there is an injustice being done to you and you need to put an
end to it. This, however, is not to be confused with time-wasting
criticism and condemnation of others. It is not to be confused with
whining. Evenso, it's a good idea to know when to put a lid on the
talk about an injustice.
The other day a member of my MasterMind wrote to tell me how
his former business partner did a lot of things to harm him. He
was understandably upset about it. Evenso, in order for me to
coach him, he needs to deal with the legal matters in one room
and the regrowing of his business in another. I'm not someone
who can legally advise him, so my advice was simple:
"Time to rise from the ashes, my friend. From devastation to liberation
to capitalization."
He got the message and thanked me for refocusing his attention.
Another member wrote to tell me how well his business did last month,
but it was mixed with great fear of the good not lasting, concern about
all the bills he has to pay, and so on. He spoke of his embarrassment in
telling me these things.
I wrote the following to him:
"All is good here. Including the embarrassment.
When you have a bill to pay, the key is not so much the inhale and exhale,
but that you say, "Hey, I'm thankful I have the money to pay it." You think
this thought while you exhale and inhale.
This puts things in perspective as your brain knows what it is like to have bills
and no money to pay them.
What you did last month is superb. It's going to keep getting better. Having 6K
above expenses is very, very good. Far, far better than scrambling to only pay
the bills and being left with your ass hanging."
See what is going on in the above. The man has his best month ever - but
in spite of this, instead of being grateful, he goes into fear about it not
lasting - or dread that he still has to pay the bills. This type of thinking is
a waste of time - and it harms the success process that has begun. That's
why I refocused this man's attention on being thankful he has the dough to
pay the bills.
I remember the day when my wife and I went to the bank together to get
a cashier's check to pay our taxes. The teller looked at my wife and said,
"Ohhhh, I want to cry."
I smiled and said, "For what."
Then I turned to my wife and said, "You and I both know what it's like to get
the tax bill and not have the money to pay it. Let's be grateful we have it and
not go into dread. That will accomplish nothing and will stop the flow."
She agreed and after we sent the check both of us noted how good it felt.
This was a big change for us. Prior to that we'd hang onto the dough as
long as we could, dreading having to pay our taxes.
I observed long ago that those who dread paying their taxes have a very
difficult time increasing their income. When I lived in California I even heard
people say how they'd like to earn more income, but if they did they'd have
to pay more taxes.
Helllloooooo.
The moral of today's message is simple. Look at what you do
to waste time ... as well as energy. Look at what you're doing
to block the flow - then go back to doing what you were doing
to get IN FLOW.
Best,
Matt Furey
