Never Wake Up Tired Again
Dear Friend,
Got to bed late last night. Was doing a bit of
creative work and simply lost track of time. Next
thing I knew and it was 3 a.m.
Just before lopping off into R.E.M. sleep, I remembered
something important: Make sure you program your mind
to wake up "filled with energy."
Tis true.
Regardless of what time you go to bed at night, there is a
natural tendency to think about how tired you are instead of
how good you want to feel the next day. Thing is, if you go
to bed with the thought, "I'm tired," permeating your brain,
chances are excellent you'll wake up tired, too.
But ... If you say to yourself, "I'm wiped out right now, but tomorrow
I'm going to wake up feeling GREAT!" - then the next day will be a
totally different experience.
For example, once you get up, you can begin your day with the
Farmer Burns Stomach Flattener and Vaccuum - as seen in Combat Abs -
- or you drop into
the cat (or dawg) stretch position - just like the Hindu Pushup posture
I teach in Combat Conditioning.
Mark my words: If you do nothing more than simply hold the pushup
posture for a minute while breathing deeply - you'll SLIDE through the
remainder of your day.
Yesterday I talked about the Wall Chair exercise in Combat Conditioning
and how you can simply hold that position and "breathe deeply."
The wall chair will not only strengthen your legs, but when combined
with deep invigorating inhales and exhales, it will help turn you into a
virtual butter burning machine.
It's all about energy, my friend. Think high energy - then do high energy
things.
And whether or not you currently believe it, your life will get better.
