What's Wrong With the Bench Press?
Dear Friend,
It is now 12:00 A.M. EST and despite the
movement of another calendar year, I'm
still 39 years old. Actually, this is the third
year in a row that I've turned 39, hehe.
That's what Combat Conditioning does for you. It
truly is the workout that makes you ageless!
Besides, there's just no reason to grow 'old.'
Grow 'wiser' - yes; have more life experience -
yes; learn from your mistakes and successes - yes.
But damnit - don't grow 'old.' That implies you're
becoming less useful.
Remember, 'life is movement.' Keep moving, keep
exercising ... and stay young. So much of the aging
process is a state of mind. I've met men and women in
their 60's and beyond who are doing Combat Conditioning.
These people didn't limit themselves or put restrictions on
themselves simply because of age. And neither should you.
One of the keys to staying eternally youthful is a constant
outpouring of gratitude for life itself. You really cannot overdue
it when it comes to saying 'thank you.'
I am extremely grateful to you for being on this list. Having
someone to share my life experience with each day means
a lot to me. So 'thank you.'
About six hours from now my wife, Zhannie, and I will go to
the hospital to welcome a new child into the world. What a magical
event it is to see your own 'flesh and blood' move from one universe
to the next. I can hardly wait.
I still fondly recall the moment my son Frank was born. He came
out holding his umbilical chord in hand, and wasn't in any hurry to
let go, even when the doctor tugged on it. And then, with one eye
open and the other closed, he looked right at me. What a powerful
moment in time that 'connection' was.
With great anticipation I look forward to meeting the newest member
of the Furey clan. Later today I will be back with an update - and a
very big surprise for you.
Stay tuned!
Kick butt - take names!
