Yesterday I got word on the astounding accomplishments
there is MAJOR motivation in what you’re going to read.
A year ago I wrote about Lt. Col. Robert Schutz who banged out
100,000 Hindu Squats while stationed in Iraq. His accomplishment
inspired many – including a number of MFIC members who have
already matched the Lt. Col’s marks.
For example, Susan Blais reached 100,000 Hindu Squats about a
month ago. Matt Bell recently nailed the number as well.
Yet, there’s one guy, Tony Griffin, who chose to be a contrarian. Instead
of making his goal about Hindu Squats, he set a pushup and pullup goal.
Read what he recently wrote us when we asked him if he’d reached his
“Yes, I did reach my goal of 30,000 for extra pushups! In late November,
I reached a little over 30k. However, it wasn’t just Hindu Pushups… I was doing
every type of pushup as part of my “Extra Pushups Per Day Regimen.”
Currently, I am at 33, 140 and looking to hit 35K for the end of the
According to my log, I have topped just over 23K for HP as part of my
standard workouts and should be able to make 24k by end of year. I
have also done over 70k of Hindu Squats this year, but I didn’t make those a
priority. Pull-ups are about to hit 17k for the year, as well.
I was planning to post my goals for 2007 in the forum, but I’ll share
25K Pull-up, 50K Pushups.
In addition to that, I plan on making at least 5K of every other
exercise in the CC book. Not that those are big numbers, but it will
force me to do better in hitting the ‘peripheral’ exercises.
Thanks for checking in and thanks for the support over the past year or
