Embarrassing, but True…
Seven years ago, after taking prescribed medications following eye surgery, my body blew up to an all-time high of 267 pounds.
I was so fat and stiff that I could barely turn to … (well, you can probably figure that one out.)
To say I was embarrassed would be the understatement of the year. Not only did I have rolls of fat on my waistline and chin, but my non-proverbial “bitch tits” were growing by the day. I was trying as hard as I could to get the excess weight off and I kept losing ground.
Upon looking up the medications prescribed to me following surgery, I was horrified. Not only was weight gain a common side-effect, but so were ruptured tendons and ligaments, as well as a host of other disorders.
No wonder I was so stiff. And so “out of it.”
I threw the medication out as soon as I read about the side-effects and began using an alternative method.
Over time, with a good diet and my trusted exercise system, my weight reduced. But at almost 50 years of age, I found that the weight no longer flew off my body the way it did in my younger years. And the second I deviated from the diet whatsoever, all bets were off. Can you relate? This means I had to “work my ass off” to get to 228 pounds.
And to get to 228 – which is what I weighed when pictures were taken for my international best-seller, Combat Conditioning, 20 years ago, I had to live an ultra-strict dietary lifestyle.
HUUUUUUUUGE Breakthrough comes my way!
Several key discoveries made maintaining 228 pounds feel easy. In fact, it became so easy I effortlessly dropped below 220 pounds (100 kilograms)… and then…
I decided to do the unthinkable.
I would go 22 pounds (10 kilograms) further.
I would reduce to my fighting weight of 198 pounds (90 kg) – what I weighed when I won the world championships in Shuaijiao Kung Fu in Beijing, China, in December of 1997.
198 pounds was a weight I hadn’t seen since I weighed in on December 23, 1997, and my desire to get to this weight again was, in part, to prove someone wrong.
“You’ll NEVER GET LEAN AGAIN. You’ll NEVER LOSE WEIGHT. YOU’LL NEVER, NEVER, NEVER….”
Before you go off the rails and get angry with me for what you just read, what if someone telling you that you will NEVER do something was the GREATEST MOTIVATATIONAL SPEECH YOU EVER HEARD!
My experience shows that it’s oftentimes the best thing someone can say to you.
Being told NEVER makes the hair stand up on the back of a person’s head.
Being told NEVER will motivate you to prove the other person wrong.
So let me tell you… when a fellow martial artist looked at my ripped, lean cover photo for Combat Conditioning, he literally uttered the most positively motivating words I have ever heard.
“YOU will NEVER see that weight again,” he predicted.
”Thank you for the motivation,” I replied. “Now WATCH ME!”
Off to the races I ran.
Every single day I replayed this man’s words in my mind, determined to prove him wrong.
And I didn’t just drop my weight to 198 pounds within a month. I’ve done even better since then. I’m leaner and more muscular… I’m stronger and more flexible … I’m more energetic and ALIVE. I’ve improved every area of my life.

The Power of Momentum
Last night I had a discussion with a friend who was telling me the great advice he got from a Johns Hopkins medical doctor.
Guess what this great advice was?
It was to lose one pound a month.
That’s right. You heard it.
Lose one pound a month and this supposedly great advice would lead to a “lifestyle change.”
This supposed “lifestyle change” would then lead to you losing a grand whopping total of 12 pounds in one year.
I pulled my moustache off when I heard this drivel.
I pronounced the MD from Johns Hopkins to be an idiot, and proceeded to say to the man:
“Go talk to your wife and tell her to lose one pound a month over the next year and see how fired up she gets.
Or tell her that I have the knowledge that will help her eliminate 50 pounds in a few months – and keep it off.
Go talk to her, will ya, and let me know which idea she thinks is best.
And don’t talk to me about lifestyle change. If you only lose 12 pounds in a year, you didn’t change your lifestyle much at all. Moreover, there’s no momentum. And when the holidays come around, the 10 pounds you spent 10 months losing are out the window. It’s ridiculously stupid.
You need to establish momentum. When your wife drops 15-20 pounds inside of a month, she will have momentum.
Take a look around will you. Many, many people need to drop A LOT MORE than 12 POUNDS. Tons of people need to drop 50, 100, 150 – even 200 pounds. Tell the person who needs to drop 100 pounds that he or she should drop one pound a month. It’s moronic. The person’s life is wasting away. Get the fat off and the person will be totally changed, as well as the so-called lifestyle.”
This finally got his attention.
Now hear this: The Super-Human WAY to FAST FITNESS AND FLEXIBLITY is…
NOT Counting calories.
NOT drinking a gallon of water per day.
NOT taking so-called fat-burning supplements or keto drinks.
NOT getting testosterone or growth hormone injections.

My 4 Core Fitness Secrets Revealed

Secret #1 – The Fat Grabbing Exercise – for starters, I’m going to reveal how to literally turn your brain and nervous system into a fat-obliterating device that catapults you toward making healthy choices. Secret #2 – The Cortisol Control Exercise – when someone is struggling to burn fat and lose weight, oftentimes the routine being followed is actually causing the weight to stay on – or even worse, to increase.
Sounds nuts, but it’s true.
This is one of the reasons why so many people who work out every single day, even if they do so for hours, don’t notice an improvement.
As the person trains, cortisol, the hormone that makes your body gain fat, gets released. Without realizing it, the exercises you’ve chosen are literally scaring your nervous system, which causes your body to go into “fight or flight” and stay fat – or get FATTER.
The good news is this: I can teach you the longevity exercises I learned in China that relax your brain and shut off the cortisol switch that was activated without your consent or knowledge. With the cortisol switch turned off, it becomes exponentially easier for you to gain control of your weight once again.
You can do these longevity exercises every night before bed.
They will immediately put you into a tranquil and peaceful vibration, helping you easily sleep through the night. These cortisol control exercises only take a few minutes and they require ZERO ATHLETICISM.

Keep in mind that ALL of the exercises I just mentioned are TREMENDOUS, and I encourage you to continue doing them if they are still working for you. I still do squats and pushups and bridging – but I also do other exercises that are more appropriate and more useful to me now.
This means, after MOMENTUM is established – you want LONGEVITY.
I’m not 34 anymore.
But I think you’ll be in AWE of what I can currently do – and you would be wise to consider ADDING my “slow motion, no motion and coiling” bodyweight exercises to your repertoire.
Why? Because it’s high time you start taking care of your tendons, ligaments, joints and internal organs. Last time I checked, most injuries are to the soft connective tissues and to the joints. This doesn’t mean you ignore the muscles. It DOES mean you strengthen your tendons and release the stagnation in your joints to dramatically reduce the likelihood of injury – and/or to get you out of pain.
“No motion” exercises give you the inner power, strength, focus and tranquility of a Zen master. They are proven to reduce stress, increase blood flow, improve the health of your internal organs, increase libido, rid your body of aches and pains, improve sleep, calm your nerves and so on. Once again, I learned these in China and the benefits are mind blowing. Within 10 minutes you can go from super stressed to fully energized and relaxed.
The athlete in me hates to admit this fact, but once again, the “no motion” exercises require practically no athleticism. Anyone can learn to do these exercises and the benefits are HUUUUGE.
Next, I have an entire array of COILING EXERCISES to teach that are designed to increase the flow of vital energy in the body, improving blood circulation and brain function while making you feel happy for no particular reason whatsoever.

Secret #4 – El Furecat’s Way of Burning Fat Faster than Ever Before – there’s a lot of information circulating on the Internet about the ideal diet for everyone. But there is no such thing as “one-diet-fits-all.”
Some people do better on a vegetarian diet. Others are the exact opposite. During my lifetime I’ve been a vegetarian, a fruitarian, a raw foodist, a vegan, a carnivore, a keto proponent and so on.
None of them came even close to giving me the results that I’m going to reveal to you, which are NOT about DIETING.
Dieting sucks, plain and simple.
And the same goes for ridiculous and meaningless maxims such as, “Everything in moderation.”
The last thing you need to hear from someone who has never been overweight is that you need to eat from all the food groups every day, but to just do so in moderation.”
Last time someone told me this horse drivel I nailed him to the wall with the following:
“EVERYTHING in moderation? Suppose we apply the word EVERYTHING to alcohol and recreational drugs, just use them, as you say, MODERATELY. Some people can do that while others use of them, even one time, puts them on the path of destruction.”
“Everything in moderation” is the lazy thinker’s way of saying, “One-diet-fits-all.”
For example, my wife can eat white rice every single day. She’s from China and her body knows what to do with this food.
As for myself, if I eat rice, I blow up.
So, what should I do, listen to my wife when she says, “I eat rice and I don’t get fat?”
No, I need to say, “Well, goody-goody for YOU,” and listen to my own body. I need to read the signals written all over the inner and outer walls of my body. And truth be told, as far as my body is concerned, eating white rice is the same as an alcoholic thinking he can drink, so long as he does so in moderation.
Sorry, I’m getting ahead of myself.
Rest assured, there will be a TON more about this sort of drivel at my seminar.
