Hi, my name is Eric Guttmann. I’m currently an officer in the United States Navy. I’m also a former collegiate track and field athlete (javelin throwing), a martial arts enthusiast, kettlebell lifter, stretching expert and so on. As a result of all my training in sports and martial arts, as well as a number of combat missions I was involved in as part of the military, to say my body was “banged up” would be an understatement.
The good news about being banged up is that it put me on a perpetual search for the methods, modalities and techniques that would get me out of pain.

I continued on with the routine in my notebook and to shorten this story, within a couple weeks, for the first time in well over a decade, I was completely out of pain.
