This means, when I use the term “knockout,” I’m referring to an expert or master level of skill and precision to move people emotionally with words.
Another Level of Skill
Similar to a great fighter, a great marketer can use words so precisely and perfectly that people can’t stop reading, or listening. This is what you want to be able to do, not only with your emails and social media posts, but in the products you create.
But in order to do this, you need to have greater access to your brain. In fighter speak, you can box righty or from a southpaw stance. Very few champion fighters throughout history, could fight effectively with either hand or foot forward.
What’s my point? It is this: Almost anyone can learn to become an effective email copywriter by doing a few basic drills. Once you get the hang of it, you have a marketable skill that can earn you and/or your clients a pile of dough. But when you combine email copywriting with products and services (especially coaching), that you have created, now you’re operating at a high-level. Now you’re able to switch stances and fight with either foot as your lead.
