A good many people have written to say you no longer own a DVD or CD player.

What?

Some have written to ask me if “anyone” still owns a DVD or CD player anymore.

Seriously?

And a couple people have adamantly proclaimed, “I don’t see any reason why anyone in today’s world would own a DVD or CD player.”

Oh my.

Well, let me tell y’all something. I’m a big believer in having the real goods in my hands and in my library where I can see them. And I’m far from being the only person who thinks this way.

I have a portable DVD, VCD, CD player.

I also have external DVD/CD ports I can hook up to my computer.

And I despise the fact that the computers of today no longer have a slot for me to insert a DVD or CD. In my whirld, I cannot believe someone would NOT want to have a visible library of books, CDs and DVDs.

Yet, I realize that people live in different realities. I realize there are people who cannot imagine why anyone would want a library in his or her own home.

So, I guess you could say I’m bending over backwards when I tell you that Dao Zou is now digital.
