I did the vegetarian, fruitarian, vegan, raw foodist thing long ago – for eight dumb years, when I lived in California.
That was before (and shortly after) I got married to a carnivore.
My wife (who hails from China) tried to follow me on the plan and she was getting sicker and weaker by the day.
Her family told her she needs meat and they were correct. As soon as she added meat back into her diet, her strength returned and she felt great.
So much for The China Study – a book I’ve spit on many times over the years. It’s just not true. Not true at all. The Chinese eat tons of meat.
So my wife not only began eating meat again, but so did I.
Problem is I was eating starch along with it. That’s not a winning combination.
When I eliminated the starch, miracles happened.
But it’s not just a matter of eating meat.
It’s about saving “the planet” from desertification.
That’s when people stop raising cattle, sheep, goats and other livestock on the land, causing what was once verdant to become a desert wasteland.
Oddly enough, if you’re a believer in global warming, desertification may be the only true cause.
Holy cow, you mean it’s not “cow farts.”
There’s a wonderful TedTalk on this issue of global warming and desertification on YouTube. I encourage you to investigate.
Kick ass – take names,

P.S. I’ll be rapping with members about some of my latest, greatest ideas and discoveries in the Matt Furey Inner Circle – including why so many Chinese are getting super fat. It’s not McDonalds. It’s not KFC. And it’s not meat. If you want to see what el Furecat is saying, doing and eating, making sure you subscribe NOW.
