Back in early May, I flew to Billings, Montana, to attend a seminar that was $1,495.00. Then I did something totally and completely non-Fureyesque.
I didn’t go to the seminar.
I had my reasons. A number of them. But the biggest one was that I got an idea in my head to create a new product, and I felt compelled to create it. NOW!
I didn’t talk about this product in any detailed sort of way with anyone, as doing so often interferes with the act of creating it. I learned this years ago when I watched the movie, Grand Canyon. In the movie, Steve Martin, who was playing the role of a director, was asked how his new movie was coming along.
His response was that he didn’t talk about it as doing so “took the place of doing it.”
This line was a much-needed brain opener for me at the time, as it was when I learned, via observation, that all the goals I talked about accomplishing beforehand, especially the goals that other people applauded and exclaimed and congratulated me for having, never came to friggin fruition.
Before seeing Grand Canyon, I always wondered, “Why do I always lose momentum after announcing my goals?” something that is championed by many self-developments ga-roos.
I knew in my gut that the ga-roos were wrong, at least for me. But why? Why oh why?
It’s something my friend and fellow coach, Tina, calls counter creating. The thrust of counter creating is realizing that those whom you announce your goals to are often envious, jealous and deep down, want to see you fail. Even if they applaud you for your goals, they may be simultaneously undermining you.
Think of it this way: Why would you congratulate someone just for having a goal? You congratulate someone AFTER he or she accomplishes a goal, not before. So the very act of congratulating someone before a goal is accomplished, reduces your drive to bring your goal into reality… because… you already got the applause, or whatever else you sought, before the show even started.
In addition to those who congratulate in advance, there are those who will question you or make suggestions. If the questions or suggestions are coming from a coach or ally, someone who wants to see you kick ass, someone who has your best interests in mind, then this can be invaluable. But if it isn’t, and it usually isn’t, then you are better off “zipping the lips.”
So I kept my mouth shut and zipped my lips as I journeyed through Montana. I got up early each morning and drove to a “hot spot” (that was pretty cold in terms of temperature). And I filmed myself for an hour each day.
In my 7-Day Power Postures Journey through the Big Sky state, you get to follow me to various city, state and national parks, and watch me train.
You observe, up close and personal, as I go through an incredible array of loosening exercises that stretch and strengthen all the major and minor joints of the body, increasing mobility in almost every conceivable way.
And after getting myself loose, where the qi is flowing bigly, I filmed a second segment where I go through the Power Postures I taught in the original course, while adding key insights and details that take these positions and stances to the next level, where you add even more internal and external strength, might and power.
But the course doesn’t stop there, because in subsequent days, I added a ton of information on seated postures, flexibility exercises, as well as additional Power Postures, including el Furecat’s favorites that no one has ever seen before. These postures came to me in dreams and visions. I didn’t learn them from anyone directly, and let me tell you, they are from a different dimension or whirld. One of them is so powerful that the bottoms of your feet get red hot within one or two minutes, a sure sign that you’ve dramatically increased the circulation of qi and blood in your system.
When the seven-days were over and I thought the course was complete, I kept traveling and filming. I would find another hot-cold spot in nature, in front of rivers, mountains and streams, turn the camera on and begin training. I didn’t say much in these segments as you had already been taught what to do and how to do it, now it was time for me to shut up and allow you to just follow along with me, in surreal silence, while taking in the sounds and the ambience of Montana.
These silent segments, I figured, would be bonuses for those who invested in the course, as well as a call to action for those who want to go even further, by attending the Power Postures seminar I plan to hold this October in Billings.
Anyway, there is no webpage for you to read more about these recordings, or the seminar I will be holding, but there are prerequisites for those of you who want to go to the next level.
First, you have to already be enrolled as a member at PowerPostures.com, where the original course is available by digital download. There’s no point in taking you to the next level if you don’t have the foundational course.
Second, you have to write me personally to get the links to enroll. This alone will be too much for some, which I consider a good thing.
Third, I will be selective in regard to whom I will pass this material onto or allow into the seminar. Those who want to take what they learn from me and post it on social media (for free), definitely do NOT qualify. This information is for the “chosen dozen or two.” It is not for the great unvarnished masses.
Fourth, the fees for the 7-Day Power Postures Journey and the Power Postures Seminar are not cheap. They are relatively expensive. The amount for the 7-Day Journey is currently set at $505.00 and the seminar fee starts at $1,505.00. But, as you’ve witnessed with some of my other products, the fee goes UP as time ticks by. If money is tight or you don’t immediately see the value, then I recommend not moving forward on either of these opportunities.
Fifth, you do not need to be enrolled in the 7-Day Power Postures Journey to attend the seminar, but if you are, a discount is available.
Sixth, there ain’t no refunds. You’re either IN or you’re not IN. No wishy-washy people are allowed on board this ship.
For those of you who definitely want to move forward on this journey, email me NOW by clicking here.
Kick ass – take names!
