Dear Matt,
I hate going to the gym. I can’t stand all the people primping and preening in front of the mirror and I find all the men grunting and groaning and slamming weights to be nerve wracking. And the women who are dressed in tights that show off their silicone breasts, and their tattoos and body piercings makes me nauseous. I’ve thought about exercising at home but the news is always on and it’s depressing. When I get tired of it I switch to Korean soap operas and I can’t stop watching them until I feel bad about myself and it’s time to go to bed, but I keep watching them instead of sleeping. Now I’m an insomniac. Any ideas that will help me?

Dear Kim,
I’m at an albatross for words. The only one that comes to mind is “gymtimidation.” Your only hope, staying at home to exercise with the tell-a-vision off appears hopeless. My suggestion is for you to take off all your clothes and look in the bathroom mirror.
As you’re looking at yourself, start to slowly back pedal away from your reflection the way I teach in my Dao Zou program. Then keep back pedaling throughout your house (after you put your clothes back on).
Back pedal away from the news. Back pedal away from the soap ops. Back pedal out your door. And keep back pedaling around your home until you start to unwind your mind and feel better about life. This usually takes about 2,000 steps, but many people feel results even sooner.
If you do this every day, within 30 days you’ll have a new lease on life and perhaps even a new lease – and you’ll take back your power.
Nothing and no one will ever be intimidating to you again because this form of training unwinds and unravels your mind, freeing you from the ridiculousness of every day living.
You’ll be happy for no reason, which is the best reason of all.
Dao Zou works whether you think it will or not. And the best part is you’ll never have to go to the gym because you’re getting all the results you ever wanted or needed at home.
