Walking fast has many benefits. Walking for a long time does, too.
But there’s something magical about slowing your walking down.
Waaaaay down.
When you move slowly, you are able to feel where your troubles lie. You’re able to sense when you are losing balance, when you have strength and when you begin to lose it.
When you observe animals in the wild, you will find them spending a good chunk of their day moving slowly, almost lazily.
Human beings who are always in a rush with somewhere to go, ultimately end up going nowhere.
But those who take their time, those who learn different walking patterns, those that challenge themselves to be better movers, gain access to energy that is hard to explain.
Yes, you can get an endorphin rush from walking 10,000 or more steps per day, but this is fool’s gold compared to what 10 minutes of slow, deliberate, animalistic walking will do for you.
When you walk in a non-habitual way, your brain and nervous system begin to glow. The positive feeling you get goes way beyond the endorphin rush and it does so remarkably fast.
A few minutes ago I was on a Zoom call with a friend, showing him how I can quickly increase adrenaline, energy and desire with just one of my Warrior Walking patterns. After I demonstrated for a mere 30 seconds, both of us could feel the energy.
It’s astounding.
Come get some now. You’ll be more than happy you did.
