Q: Matt, I’m getting a little tired of all this crap you’re writing about exercising the easy way. Everyone knows that you have to bust your ass to get results. Life is supposed to be hard. Care to prove me wrong?
A: I’m glad you’re only a “little tired” otherwise reading your question would be exhausting. Anyway, I’m up for the challenge of your lifetime.
Choose an exercise that you enjoy struggling with, one where you grit your teeth and furrow your lower brow. Got one? Good. Now relax your jowls and imagine doing the same exercise with ease. I did this last night and the extra slack was a wake-up whack. I turned work into play. Instead of busting my rump I jumped over the hump.
You can make anything in life harder than it needs to be, even if it makes no cents. High-brow intelligence is taking something difficult and making it easier.
Water erodes stone. Wind conquers metal. Soft beats hard.
Relax your body-mind and set yourself free with Warrior Walking and/or Badass Tai Chi.
