I’m really trying to keep my composure, hehe.
I’m doing my best to not laugh so hard I blow a gasket.
But sometimes, even el Furecat cannot control his emotions, even if he has nine lives to do so.
Yesterday, after sending out my email entitled, 3 Pushups a Day, I received a ton of replies, most of them positive.
If I speak about the positive ones, though, that’s no damn fun.
So, on with the negatory:
S.S. writes:
“That’s a funny one! 3 Pushups a day, would take a million years to see results, then you added each last about a minute, now how slow are you moving!”
el Furecat: Yes, it will take a million years to see results, if you are unwilling to give it a go because of your ill-advised doubt.
Olympic weightlifters can and do build incredible strength and power doing ONE REP.
Many Yoga practitioners often do only ONE REP of each exercise.
I advocate many different types of training: one-rep, no-rep (seriously) and hundreds of reps.
My approach is flexible and variable.
Three reps done super slow will change your body in many ways – and it won’t take a million years, especially when you know what you’re looking for.
Each rep takes a minute – and if you can go even longer than a minute, that’s even better.
If you’re not able to make one repetition a minute long, then your tendons are weak.
I cover all this on the MattFureyInnerCircle.com members site. Get thee in there and you’ll see what el Furecat is cooking.
By the way: Sunday is my birthday, and I’m fixing to have a superlative weekend extravaganza, which will quite possibly feature a number of products that y’all have been begging me to put back on the market. Be on the lookout for my emails on this.
Kick ass – take names!
