“Oh no, don’t do that, you’ll shear your knee joints,” they say.

Keep this in mind: Whenever you get advice coming from the “mainstream,” if you do the opposite, chances are excellent that you’ve chosen the river that flows past obstacles and obstructions, giving you the most advantageous benefits.
