Got an email yesterday from a British customer. His name is W.
And he told me that my Warrior Walking course was “taking the piss.”
Not “a” piss.
“The” piss.
Not sure if he meant “a” or “the,” as I rarely speak British. I prefer English much of the time, with part-time Mandarin and an occasional nap in Spanish, Thai and Japanese.
Anyway, from what I can decipher from this email, Mr. W only watched the videos in the course. He did NOT walk the green grass of the course.
How do I know this? Because if Mr. W had, he wouldn’t be so pissy.
He bragged about being 58 and reasonably fit, which caused him to laugh at what I am teaching.
Well, Mr. Wit, I was even younger than 58 when I first learned these patterns, and was more than reasonably fit at that time. So why is it that I took to these methods faster than a queen bee to a hive of workers?
It’s because I was blown away at how something so seemingly simple was making me far, far, FAR more than reasonably fit. It was turning me into an ass-kicker, way beyond my years.
As a result, today, at 62, I move better than I ever have in my life, and Warrior Walking patterns are a big reason for this.
So I suggest you get off the sofa and follow Emerson’s words, namely, “Do the thing and you will have the power.”
