Before you get “offended,” give me a few seconds of your time.
What do I mean, “You don’t have a body?”
It’s simple. So, so freakin simple.
Your body is MORE than a bag of bones and muscles.
All your tendons, ligaments, bones, muscles and organs are part of an ENERGY FIELD. Most of what you think of as solid matter isn’t solid at all.
If you break a bone, what causes it to heal?
Why is this important?
It’s important because most people look in the mirror and find fault with their appearance. I got too much of this and too little of that.
Nearly everyone has negative thoughts and feelings about his or her appearance. Yet, hardly anyone bothers to ask, “What quality of energy do I have in my body today?”
If you think you’re too skinny or too fat, you’ll probably still think the same no matter how much you improve your appearance. The anorexics and bulimics aren’t the only ones who cannot see themselves accurately.
So how do you transcend this thinking about your appearance?
You do so by focusing on upgrading your level of ENERGY.
Doing so is easier than you might currently imagine.
The other day I was coaching a young man who was exhausted physically. I worked with him for 30 minutes, engaging him in the coiling, twisting, spiraling and wavelike movements I teach in my Power Postures course. He couldn’t believe how much better he felt doing these simple exercises.
Then I had him stand still in a specific position for five minutes. Within 30 seconds he said, “My hands are buzzing.”
“Correct,” I replied. “That’s the proof you’re tapped in and turned on. That’s the proof that you’re not just a bag of bones. Your body is electric.”
After the first posture, I guided him through a couple others, and when we finished, he had a spring and pep in his step that his hadn’t experienced before. EVER!
EXPERIENCING is the SECRET.
You can theorize and ruminate all day, but it isn’t until you FEEL what I’m talking about that you get it.
If you want to eliminate feelings of fatigue, pain and injury, then turn the keys to ignite and transform your body into the energy field it already is. The difference is that instead of carrying around a low-grade energy field, yours is now a high-testesterone type of fuel.
You’ll be bouncing off the earth instead of getting sucked down into it.
