Good evening Matt,
I just wanted to follow up on todays email regarding Combat Conditioning. I ordered your book over 20 years ago as well when I was an active Chicago Police Officer working in Chicago’s worst areas. I had a team of 6 guys and we were all in relatively good shape. I brought the book to work and prior to hitting the street we would do Hindu squats and pushups along with wall chairs. We remained consistent over several years and it made a great difference in both our strength and endurance. Due to the nature of our duties we were often in combat fighting not only with the person headed to jail but also their friends family and those who saw an opportunity to injure a policeman. I will not elaborate further but I am certain that it prevented serious injury or worse for the police doing their job … And FYI I am an Iowa native as well and thank God everyday for being born and growing up there. Almost 70 years old now and still don’t require meds of any sort thanks to regular exercise and Power Postures. Just my .02 cents.

Thank you, Robert. I am happy to hear how much the exercises in Combat Conditioning help you and your fellow officers. My job is so much easier than what you faced on a daily basis. Even so, each of us can add so much more to our life by being ready for action on a daily basis. It sure beats feeling tired and worn out from inactivity, doesn’t it? All the best to you, my fellow Iowa native.

P.S. Combat Conditioning is now more compact with more staying power than ever before, due to its spiral-bound format, making it easier to carry in a gym bag, suitcase or backpack. You can still get the DVDs or book mailed to you, or you can opt for digital delivery. Either way, the exercises will make a believer out of you
