Did you know you can increase your body’s natural production of GH (growth hormone) by over 500%, by incorporating sprint training into your workouts?
I first read this in the book, Ready, Set Go! by Phil Campbell, a book I highly recommend, along with his follow-up book, Sprint 8 Cardio Protocol.
This will give you some idea as to why I’ve recommended sprint training from the get-go – in my very first book, in fact, The Martial Art of Wrestling (1996).
Even without the “science” at the time, the evidence was clear and convincing to me. When I regularly ran sprints, especially hill sprints, my body changed so quickly it was almost fiction – yet it wasn’t.
This same tendency of el Furecat to observe reality and make anecdotal conclusions, based on personal experience, that later proves to be backed by science, is quite remarkable, indeed.
A couple more examples of this trend are the role backward walking plays in the improvement of memory. Hmmm. Twas almost a century ago, it seems, that I began recommending backward training for THAT reason as well as many others. Perhaps I’ll have to reintroduce my Dao Zou product in the very near future.
Well, as if the above isn’t enough for me to hang my hat on, here’s more hype (tis what my detractors call truth).
Since 1991, I’ve been recommending some form of fasting to my clients and customers. [Admittedly, I forgot to do it myself for a number of years, and it showed.]
Well, sure enough, science has now caught up with the uncanny world of fasting.
Recently, in the 17 Hour Fast, by Dr. Frank Merritt, he mentioned a study that showed a 2,000 percent increase in growth hormone, as a result of fasting.
The benefits of fasting, however, extend way beyond increased growth hormone production.
Your body will also endogenously create more testosterone and more stem cells, not to mention burning off fat while preserving muscle mass.
This is NOT something you can do with a diet. Any diet.
The benefits of fasting are so friggin powerful and my experience with it so grand that I have this thing wired at a level most scientists cannot yet fathom.
There are many, many types of fasts – and I believe I’ve nailed which ones are best … as well as where and how to get started… as well as WHO should NOT do it.
But the truth is that everyone fasts every day, including those who immediately say, “I can’t do that.”
Well, big fella, you actually can and you’ve done it every single day of your life, thus far, without even knowing you were doing it.
There’s a reason we call one of most peoples’ daily meals… break…fast.
Personally, I don’t eat breakfast (in the morning). It’s the worst meal of the day. It’s not good for you and does far more harm than good.
But I do eat breakfast around 12 noon or 2 PM – or later.
What do I eat?
All the worst foods. All the foods that the propagandists have told you NOT to eat. All the foods that, oddly enough, truly do your body good.
Hint: It’s not rabbit food.
Next week I turn 56 – yet I am YOUNGER than I’ve been in 22 years, when I won the world championship in Beijing, China.
I am kicking ass and taking names at a level I’ve only dreamt of before.
And it is my great desire to pass my knowledge on to YOU, this June 13-15, in Tampa Bay, Florida, at my Fast Fitness and Flexibility Seminar.
I’ll be teaching you my discoveries, some of which, once again, may actually be ahead of science.
Armed with this information, you can attain success in all areas of your life, at the quantum level.
If this is something you want, go here…
Best,
Matt Furey
