If you have children, grandchildren and/or you feel the need to pretend you’re a child again (a good idea), then take a look at what Gary S. wrote me the other day:
Hey Matt,
I hope you and your family are good, staying safe and adjusting to these unsettling times.
Just received CC for Kids today. I simply asked my twin 5 year old grandsons if they could spell the words on the cover.
They did, with a little help on conditioning.
“This book is about exercise.”
Literally within seconds they were paging through judging, “that ones easy or hard.”
All “easy” ones were immediately attempted!
Without prompting we were playing the exercise bible card game.
What a great way to introduce them to quality exercise!!
Thanks so much!
Gary
MF: My pleasure, Gary. Very happy to hear you have them movin and a groovin. Your words are the proof that I did the right thing when I took the original Combat Conditioning book and cartoonized it for the younger generation in Combat Conditioning for Kids. The card decks that come with it are a huge collector’s item. Not many of them left. Thank you for taking the time to write about your grandson’s experiences.
