How many times per week “should” you do Hindu squats?
In the beginning, doing Hindu squats three times per week is a worthy goal.
That’s how I got started.
Then I hit a sticking point. I wanted to reach the goal of being able to do 500-straight Hindu squats.
This means 500 in a row, without stopping. No breaks. No doing a little here and a little there throughout the day.
My teacher advised that I do them everyday. And so I did.
I had the foundation. I had the technique down. I was past the point of being sore after doing them the day before.
So I bumped things up and began doing them everyday.
The results were astonishing. Within a relatively short period of time, my consecutive repetitions exploded. I was able to do 100 in a row instead of being stuck at 40.
When I hit 150 in a row, progress came much easier.
I could finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.
From there I incorporated a few seconds of dancing in place when I did 100 in a row. This helped a lot.
After this I followed the 80-20 method. 80 regular Hindu squats followed by 20 Hindu jumper squats.
Then I made history. Personal history.
I blasted through obstacles and roadblocks. And 500 in a row was relatively easy.
There are other tricks that will help you – and when you add them all into your toolbox, you can make history, too.
Everything starts by following the exercises I teach in my Combat Conditioning book and videos.
If you think that you can’t do what I have outlined, think again.
Here endeth the lesson.
