If you want to study the external mechanics and get the general idea of what I am doing in these clips, you can and will benefit from them watching them.
At the same time, if you realize there is another level of information that is hidden from view, which is not based on visible external mechanics, there’s good news for you as well.
Here it is: Over the weekend, I put up some brand spankin’ new instructional videos on these exercises and posted them on the Matt Furey Inner Circle Membership Site.
In these videos I reveal the invisible secrets behind the exercises – and NO, the secret ain’t “hard work.”
Truth missile: There’s hard work that is ignorant and dumb – and there’s smart work that may be hard, but because it feels sooooo friggin easy compared to the grunt and groan methods, you don’t think of it as hard.
Hard work is akin to the crash-and-bang concussion mentality of football. Me work hard. Me play football. Me get concussions. Me still play ball hard. Me love football.
Smart work is playing the same game in such a way that you’re putting points on the board, and making it look easy, without concussions and other injuries.
Hard work is training to lift more, more, more and never stopping to see if your skills have improved or if your body is more functional.
Smart work is figuring out how to do more with less effort, less soreness, less strain and less grunting.
After viewing my clips a man wrote to tell me I am more athletic and in better condition than most 20-year olds. Think of it, I’m almost thrice that age, and I’m still kicking ass. In fact, I’m kicking it more than ever before.
This means you’d be wise to figure out what el Furecat is doing.
