Early this morning we traveled to Orlando, but not to go to Disney Weirld.
Nope.
We went to UCF – University of Central Florida, where my son, Frank, done graduated the 17th grade today. Yeehaaa. [In case you’re wondering how I arrived at 17 years, its from factoring in pre-kindergarten.]
Being that UCF is the largest university in the state of Florida, I figured the commencement would be a four-hour ordeal, especially with 3,200 students graduating after the summer session ended two days ago.
Imagine my delight when it was finished within two hours.
You might be wondering what gift I gave my son for his achievement. And the answer is…
I will be giving him a signed copy of my new book – the one where I’m in resting my forearms on a Bengal tiger.
My son asked me if the picture on the cover was photoshopped. He told me it didn’t look real. My daughter agreed.
So I opened my phone and showed them the video of el Furecat in the cage with the Bengal tiger, as well as a white Siberian one.
Within a few days my son will be getting a signed copy of my non-photoshopped book. Hopefully he won’t think my signature is fake, too.
I can assure you I will be signing all 1,000 copies later this week… and not a single signature will be rushed or hurried. Unlike those who scribble and scratch when it comes time to sign their books, in order to get it over with… I slow down and put the power of love and gratitude into every single one. I sign each one with a feeling of thankfulness.
Just thought you ought to know that.
