If you want to make yourself get OLD really fast, here are three ways to do it:
1. Sit in a comfortable chair most of the day.
Notice I did not outlaw sitting. There’s are ways to sit to invigorate your health, and there is the SAD (Standard American Dummy) way to do it.
2. Never miss a meal.
When you continue to relentlessly feed your face, refusing to ever miss a meal, you never give your internal organs a break. Over 20 years ago when I wrote about fasting, people squawked as though I was advocating starvation. Today, science has proven that fasting accelerates the production of growth hormone, testosterone and stem cells. It also helps the body heal as you maintain muscle mass while losing unwanted fat.
3. Stop jumping.
Back in the early 1990’s, I read how we get old much faster when we stop jumping. Over the years, this truism has proved itself to me repeatedly.
Jumping increases bone density while strengthening all the soft tissues. It also moves the blood and lymph in a way that cannot be matched by other forms of exercise.
If your joints are in good shape, you can jump your way to improved health and fitness in numerous ways: rope skipping, plyometrics, Hindu jumper squats, etc.
If your joints are in a compromised state, you may do well with a rebounder (mini trampoline). You don’t even have to jump off the mat while using it, as one of the key exercises is the health bounce, an internal way to “jump without jumping.”
In the near future, I’m going to demonstrate some amazing ways to use rebounding for members of the Furey Faithful. I’m also going to begin reviewing other types of fitness equipment that can enhance or stymie your bodyweight training exercises. These reviews will be immensely valuable as I will give you my unvarnished opinion of the good, the bad and the hideous.
And now, it’s time for a quick update on Combat Conditioning:
Even though I prefer reading printed copies of books, and am not a fan of digital books, I also realize that many of my customers want a book NOW and don’t care if the format is non-physical.. This reality makes me shudder, but there is something good about it.
The good part is especially true for those who love to collect books and DVDs that you can hold in your hands. I am one of those people, too. There’s something grand about the feeling of holding a treasured book in your hands and being able to turn the pages with excitement, enthusiasm and gusto.
Regrettably, there will be a day fairly soon, when more of my international best-selling PRINTED books will become collector’s items. I’ve seen some listed for over a thousand bucks on amazon.
Yes, I can and will come out with NEW material fairly soon that will initially be available in both a printed and digital format. But then, as the former gives way to the newer, the product will only be available digitally.
If you’re of the generation who still wants a “hard copy” of products, then time is of the essence. I encourage you to pick up a copy of Combat Conditioning (and the DVDs to boot). There aren’t that many left – and once they are “outta here” they are “outa there.”
When you place your order today for a printed copy of Combat Conditioning NOW, we are also enclosing a copy of Kick Ass Take Names at no charge.
Not only that, but you will also receive an autographed copy of one of the martial arts magazines I was on the cover of a few years ago, and this is also being given to you gratis.
You won’t see this offer on the Combat Conditioning page because I’m only announcing it in this email as a reward to those of you who open and read my dispatches each day. Rest assured, as long as supplies last, you WILL get these two bonus gifts in your package.
When we run out of CC and KATN, you will only be able to get them only as digital downloads. This is the only way you can currently get some of my other books, such as Combat Abs, Gama Fitness and Primate Power, so the trend is set.
Jump on this NOW, my friend.
Matt Furey
P.S. This offer ONLY applies to those ordering today.
P.P.S. Kick Ass Take Names is loaded with many details about the principles of successful living that are not included in any of my other books.
